Super nice stay at La Pitchounette. The environment is exceptional; you have a splendid view from the small garden furniture. The house is large, very well furnished, very comfortable. The rooms are large, the bedding is perfect and there is enough storage. The bathroom is very convenient. Everything about it is excellent There are numerous sights to see in the area. Very charming house in the middle of an exceptional setting. We were lucky enough to stay with Linda and Sebastien for a few days. The house is a typical old house with all that it may involve "negatives": as mentioned elsewhere, little sound insulation, a house "close to nature" difficult to maintain: a few spiders, ants and other countryside animals, a bathroom that suffers from humidity on the ground floor...it was not nickel. But the authentic is what we were looking for, so it didn't bother us. The house is beautiful, the decor tastefully made, the area amazing. And thanks to the multiple amenities on site (we were even able to make a fire when the temperature dropped), the tranquility and the space it offers, it is a place that I recommend for a weekend with friends or family. If we have a chance, we will come back! Thanks Lynda and Sebastien!

beautiful cottage, prope, very pleasant in a very very peaceful and relaxing setting. Caroline the host is accommodating and very welcoming. I highly recommend seeing what she offers you in terms of poultry. We took him a chicken to cook , he was divinely good. We'll be back soon.

Pascale is a great host. We were hosted very well with local cheeses and sweets. The house is bright and spacious with an extraordinary view of the mountains. Well equipped, with a beautiful fireplace to spend evenings by the fire in winter. There were 8 of us and we never felt cramped. Many hikes nearby. We'll be happy to go back!

Beautiful cottage, very true to photos and description. Jérémy has tastefully furnished and decorated his chalet with quality materials. We were 2 families of 4 and the space was perfect. Special mention for Aude (concierge) who was lovely.

the accommodation is in the heart of the mountain with a garden and a magnificent view. It is well-equipped. The hosts are charming and thoughtful. We stayed with our 10-month-old daughter and the room on the 2nd floor was perfect, as well as all the toys and games available that delighted her. Nearby farmers with lots of animals to watch, walks of all sizes that allow you to do everything on foot.

In the heart of Cantal, near the Dordogne gorges. You will enjoy the many nearby hikes. This old house made of old stones has been perfectly restored to the tastes of the day with care and with quality materials. It is very well equipped. We were a family of five, each able to enjoy their own private room with shower and the large shaded garden. It is a real favorite for us who come from the most beautiful department of France, the 64 (a little Basque-Béarnais chauvinism does not hurt...). Cantal and Salers will never replace Ossau-iraty cheese but you can find some GAEC and farm producers around that will make you discover this good cheese made on site!We recommend this place for nature lovers, those who love good things and outdoor activities. A peaceful oasis! The interior is a little dark, but it's also the charm of the old. We had the pleasure of having our breakfasts outside with a great view. We were amazed by a hike that starts from the cottage and passes through a waterfall and breathtaking views of the Dordogne gorges. Plus, Annie and Gérard are very attentive. We'll be happy to go back!
