Very nice environment overlooking the Cantal mountains, not directly from the cottage but a few minutes walk. Peaceful village in the countryside, more flies than people! Functional house, old so very cool, ideal for summer. Responsive and welcoming host.

We had an exceptional stay in this charming cottage. Everything was together to feel good: a peaceful setting, a spotless and very well-equipped house, and especially adorable hosts. Their welcome was both warm, attentive and discreet, which allowed us to make the most of our getaway. We feel that they put all their heart into providing a great experience, and it's been a success! Once again, thank you for everything, we will come back without hesitation.

This is probably the best gite we have stayed in. It was so clean and well presented with amenities that were easy to understand and all worked well. Surroundings were stunning with so much outstanding scenery and varied wildlife. Claudine, Bernard and all the family were so welcoming and helpful, with good recommendations and local knowledge. It was a pity we had to leave even though it was getting up to 35*c !!!

Cathy and her husband are very nice, the trailer is beautiful, quiet with cows in the meadows around Too bad for us, a lot of rain during our stay.

Good bedding We were on bikes and due to bad weather conditions we had to leave in the early afternoon which was not a problem for our hosts who accepted the delay of our departure very kindly.

Very pleasant and enjoyable family stay in this nice well-appointed house. The sound insulation between the floors is excellent. The top floor with its home cinema, billiards (French), foosball and pingpong table was also well appreciated. Nearby, football field, petanque court and children's playground. We recommend this accommodation where nothing was missing.

A successful weekend of total family disconnection! The house is just incredibly pretty and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed family evenings around the fire thanks to the charm of Cantou. We spent a 3-day weekend in the house with 2 families of 4 people. The place is very quiet, the house is really well equipped with everything you need in the kitchen and the house is very well adapted to our two families (two separate sleeping areas and the central common room). The house matches the description, so it's a rustic house, not very bright but with a lot of lighting, character with stones on the floor, on the walls and parquet. The children enjoyed the outdoors, which is also very pleasant. A little extra also for Lucie, who was very friendly and flexible for the arrival and departure. To sum up, we had a very good stay in this house.

House still as pleasant. It was the 2nd time we came to Philippe's as a family, once at Christmas and this time in the spring. Beautiful environment, beautiful walks. The whole family was delighted. We may come back a 3rd time thank you again for hosting us

Ideal cottage for nature lovers. Ideal to unwind. As described. Sylvie and Sylvain the neighbors came to inquire about our well-being. They are particularly welcoming and caring people. Special mention for the delicious meal they have prepared for us! A haven of peace in a beautiful region that is full of fantastic natural sites (lakes, waterfalls...) and tasty local products. Very large cottage, very clean, with all the necessary amenities, and above all a breathtaking view. The place is very nice and Alexis gave us all the instructions we needed for our proper installation.

We had an unforgettable week of vacation at this beautiful Auvergne home. The layout is very well thought out, the grounds are large and perfectly fenced, which was ideal for the safety of our little Beagle. The calm that reigns and the breathtaking views of the surrounding nature invite you to relax and rejuvenate. The house is also a perfect starting point for hiking lovers, with a trail station nearby and many trails accessible from the village. Jacqueline welcomed us warmly, she was very responsive and available throughout our stay. A big thank you also for the welcome gift, both for us and for our little dog — a delicate attention that touched us a lot. Everything matched the listing and photos perfectly. Between sports activities and moments of rest, this week was perfect… even the weather was there! We'll be happy to go back!
