My houseboat is situated on one of the most beautiful spots in Amsterdam. It's got a big open garden, that borders on some wild woods and opposite the wide canal (in which you can swim) is a forest. I love my home, it has everything you need and it's very quiet. It's like living in the country, a 20 minute walk along woods and water takes you to the next village on a lake. And a 15 minute bike-ride takes you to the (free) ferry opposite the CS and one of the most beautiful towns in the world!
