Very wonderful for a Christmas getaway. Pam was very quick to respond and always made sure we were doing okay and there were no problems. She even made us some cookies and delivered them to the porch. Would definitely recommend!

The location was perfect—tucked away just enough to feel private and peaceful, but still close to everything we needed. The cabin itself was cozy and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. One of the highlights was definitely the hot tub. It was clean, perfectly heated, and the ideal way to unwind in the evenings while enjoying the quiet of the woods around us. Whether you're sipping coffee on the porch in the morning or soaking under the stars at night, this place offers a perfect escape from the everyday hustle.

Cabin is exactly as described in the listing. The resort road leading up to the cabin was steep and slightly daunting the first time for someone to doesn’t drive in the mountains, but I had no issues and was comfortable by the second day of our stay. Fully equipped kitchen to easily cook meals. Great location - within 15 to 30 minutes from many tourist attractions. Easy check-in and checkout process. We did have an issue the first night, but the host was quick to respond and resolve. Would stay again if in the area!

Stayed here while in Knoxville for a family reunion and really enjoyed the feeling of "getting away" to a place that felt like a cabin. The beds are super comfortable and the host, Elizabeth, was super responsive and accommodative. She even went out of her way to help us get something we accidentally left at the place. Super grateful for her and for the comfortable place to spend time with family. Would recommend!

We had a great time. the highlight was when my nieces boyfriend surprised her by proposing on the dock.

Stay was great! When we arrived Josh met us to assist with any information needed. Its in a good area with plenty of yard and a great deck to enjoy. Just a few short minutes away from the marina. Nice place and good people.

had a great stay at the rustic shade. chele was very responsive and went out of her way to get us a can opener that was missing. they also brought us a leaf blower. Chele and her husband are extremely nice and helpful, excellent hosts! the porch was wonderful and had peaceful views. I stayed there for a month and I felt like I had moved in and it was my home. Short drive to a walking path around the lake.. I loved my time there and I would definitely stay there again!

Extremely clean and very peaceful place. I felt very comfortable right away. Definitely would recommend to anyone who wanted beautiful scenery & time away from busy places. Perfect for anyone who’s into ATV’s

We had a great vacation. The house was clean and exactly as pictures. we had one issue that was handled promptly and taken care of quickly. Highly recommend any locations being Rented by Tom! Very quick to respond and professional.

Overall everyone who stayed was very happy with the place. We had 12 people total including kids and so it was tight but everyone had a place to sleep. We had to bring a blowup mattress but that was only for preference. Again, overall it was comfortable and quaint. The creek is beautiful and we spent a lot of time outside. The driveway fit 4 large trucks/SUV's and 4 trailers with room to spare. The driveway is a slightly steep but we were able to take a left out of the drive with all 4 20 foot trailers. Definitely a comfortable place for riding the trails. The hosts were very responsive when asked a question about the house.

Great place to get away and unwind. Close to Norris Lake and Cove Lake State Park. Very peaceful and quiet. Stores and restaurants within a few minutes drive. Look forward to going back on my next vacation.

The Hideaway was excellent! We met our two adult sons and I significant other and pets for a long weekend and had a great time which the house made even better. I was a little afraid of the small, uncovered dock but the quiet cove had very little traffic and proved to be very secluded and safe. Hank responded to my multiple questions in my attempt to make sure the visit was great. Detailed directions and instructions made the trip easier even though we had been to Norris numerous times. Proximity to LaFollette made irritating trips to the store much more manageable than other places we’ve stayed. I had a flat tire on my trailer the day we were to launch the boat and a tire shop 3 miles away replaced the tire before the boys knew we were gone. Ample parking and close to the boat launch was very nice. The house was clean and very well equipped, we were NOT roughing it!! Thanks Hank & we will be back!

Booked this airbnb for my guys trip and it was a great location. The dock was amazing and perfect for our weekend since we rented a boat. The house was super clean and cozy and fit all of guys really well. The kitchen was great as we cooked dinner every night.

Tom’s place was great, lots of space for our large family! The steps in the house may be a challenge for your older guests so be cautious of that and don’t forget to bring extra towels for the hot tub/lake!! Overall we loved this place and would come back!

My words aren't enough to describe this property! We had an amazing stay! The cabin was beautiful and clean! We felt right at home and the beds were comfortable! Loved meeting Bob and his wife Pam! They made us feel so welcomed! you can tell the effort put in to making this property what it is, it doesn't go unnoticed. We are already looking at dates for a trip back! Thank you for going above and beyond for your guest!

Fantastic house and dock. Had everything we needed. Be forewarned, the driveway is exceedingly steep. I have all-wheel drive SUV and still had to have my guests get out and walk so I could get back up the hill.
