Family-friendly holiday rentals in Camp Pendleton South

Everything was wonderful! My daughter and I loved it. Eva and Zach truly covered every little detail! Staying here has renewed my love for Airbnb's. I have noticed that some rentals have become less personal and more of a management style. Eva and Zach were responsive and detailed to my messages. Because of all the trees and plants we felt as if we were on a tropical vacation. The pool was nice, we had it to ourselves. The inside of the home felt as if it was newly remodeled, very clean. I agree that the stairs to go up to the bedroom area are a bit steep. However, I'm clumsy and I did not have an issue. The roof top deck was peaceful. The location was perfect not far from attractions, but also away from the traffic and noise. We are hoping to make this home our annual mother, daughter spot. If I have to use one word to sum up our stay it would be Zen! Oh! And take their recommendation and eat at Uncle Tony's! Seriously the best Italian food and old school customer service.

Our recent stay at Michelle’s Airbnb in Leucadia, California, was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Michelle has thought of every detail to make her guests feel at home. The property is absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean, and impeccably maintained, creating an inviting and comfortable atmosphere that rivaled the coziness of our own home. The kitchen was a standout feature, fully stocked with everything needed to whip up almost any meal. From cookware to an impressive array of spices, we had all the tools to enjoy home-cooked dinners, which made our stay even more special. It’s rare to find such a well-equipped kitchen in a vacation rental! The location is perfect for soaking in the local culture. Right on the beach, we loved taking daily walks to explore the vibrant Leucadia community. The highlight, though, was watching the sunset every evening from the living room or deck—pure magic! This place was HEAVEN!! We fell in love with the place. The place was spotless and looked exactly like the photos. A 15 min walk to restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the view from the couch every morning and the view from the lifeguard chairs in the evening. The Airbnb hosts were helpful and responsive. This place felt like home and can not wait to book again! Thank you!

A little piece of beach heaven is how I would describe this place! We came with our two littles .They had toys to use, a crib, a high chair and most of all a safe patio to accommodate our family. The beds were so comfortable which is great since we both have back pain. The front room is large to dance, play and chase kids. The kitchen was easy to use and full size fridge helps! The bathroom was very clean and made us feel comfortable using all the amenities. The whole place was very clean without any dust bunnies hiding out. The patio made us feel secluded in our own little oasis. The lights, fireplace & outdoor speakers made it a magical experience! The Location is at the end of the shopping strip so it was quiet at night. We will be back and plan on using the bikes and the beach amenities that way we can pack less! A home away from home, close to the beach is all we wanted for this first trip as a family to San Clemente. We definitely got more than we asked for! Thank you so much!

The beach bungalow was as described. The location was ideal, just two blocks from the beach. The hot tub was a standout feature for our visit. It was clean and we had no issues with temperature. The home is a bit no-frills but that was as expected, still a great value. Host was responsive and shoutout to Pete, manager, who was kind and helpful throughout. Our family would stay again. P.S. the train did not really bother our family, some who are light sleepers, during the stay. It will not wake you up in the middle of the night.

We are repeat guests, from New England who stay with Gloria and Maria during Jan - Feb. to get relief from the cold and we love the So-Cal lifestyle. Carlsbad is a very nice beach town with a great vibe. Clean, safe, laid back, friendly folks, easy to get around, plenty to do within easy walking distance. The Casita is less than two blocks from the beach so beautiful evening sunsets are there to easily enjoy. The amenities are as descibed and it is a clean and comfotable place to stay. It has everything you need and lots of outdoor space to enjoy, nice fire pit and is as private as can be in a beach town neighborhood. Mari is a wonderful host, very responsive and took great care of us whenever we had questions or needed anything. Thank you so much Mari - you are truly the best! We would love to come back!

I booked Jenna’s beautiful home for my wedding weekend, and it was truly perfect. My bridesmaids and I arrived after the rehearsal dinner, spent the next morning getting ready there, and my husband and I stayed in the Airbnb on our wedding night. Everything exceeded our expectations. The home was warm, spotless, and absolutely stunning. Even my photographer and videographer couldn’t stop raving about how gorgeous it was for our getting ready photos. This home is truly a must-stay! Jenna was incredibly responsive and such a wonderful host. I can’t say enough good things!

What a place to step back and relax… the views are amazing and this place is so clean and welcoming. It is amazingly quiet and we could hear the ocean breezes all the time. The deck is spacious and a great place to take in ocean breezes and watch the waves roll by. Surprisingly excellent place to step into. Highly recommend!

Great location, close walk to the beach. Our family of 4 enjoyed using the boogie boards, beach chairs and bikes that were available to us. Coffee shops and breweries were close by. Warrens place was perfect for our little getaway. Would highly recommend!

This cottage was just as described, had everything we needed and was close to all the wineries and old town Temecula. Would definitely come back!

Cannot wait to stay here again, I couldn't beat the location. The environment was warm and inviting, clean and so close to the beach. Local restaurants were fresh and healthy. Staff was helpful and responsive even though we had no concerns. Very grateful for a wonderful stay.

This was the second time that my family stayed at this AirBnB, and we absolutely love the condo's proximity to the beach. The condo itself is clean with all the basic essentials that you need... boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels, and cooking supplies. Both of the times that we've stayed here the condo has been very quiet; we've never heard noise from neighbors. The condo community has several pools, hot tubs, and a tennis court plus the spectacular clubhouse with panoramic ocean views. There are lots of little coffee shops and places to walk to near the condo community and it's very family friendly. The mattresses and pillows are dated, but aside from that this condo is truly a gem.

I've had multiple stays at Rick and Robyn's place, there's a reason I continue to book with them. Love the condo, sleek and modern, yet incredibly comfortable. Highly recommend

Spent the weekend here with my girlfriends for my birthday and we had the best time! The house is soooo homey and had everything we needed. We were welcomed with bagels & snacks and a “happy birthday” sign. Pool and hot tub were great. Perfect relaxing outdoor area. So peaceful. Such a lovely home! Would definitely stay here again.
