We had a very enjoyable short stay at Helenes beautiful cottage. It was just as it looked in the photos etc. It was immaculate inside and Helene always responded quickly to any questions. The gardens were a great place to relax in and enjoy the peace and quiet.

very well equipped house, tastefully decorated. Large veranda very nice when there is wind. Interesting outdoor amenities (barbecue, plancha,...), small garden very well enclosed ideal for our dog. the house is ideally located to discover the landing beaches, very pocket of the seaside, Port-en-Bessin 8th French fishing port! so beautiful fish for direct sale by fishermen. stay worth recommending!

short stay but it was wonderful. Everything neat and present. the host only speaks French but with Google translate it went well. they are flexible and respond quickly. The only thing was that it was unclear that there were not 2 closed rooms, this meant that we finally had to sleep with our son in 1 room. Not bad, but would have liked to have known in advance.

We cannot say enough good things about Christian’s Chateau! The scenery was breathtakingly beautiful and made for a very peaceful start to our month long Europe trip. We loved greeting their horse and chickens each day and waking up in the bucolic countryside. It was the perfect gateway to Normandy and had everything you could possibly need for a memorable stay. The bedrooms were huge and beyond comfortable and you literally have an entire castle to yourself which makes you feel like royalty! The decor is whimsical and Victorian and adds to the charm and homeyness Christian certainly treated us like royalty too; he answered all of our questions in a timely manner, gave great area recommendations, and even left us a basket of delicious croissants for lunch! We relished the peace and quiet of this Airbnb and feeling like we could truly rest and escape the hustle and bustle. Thanks for being an amazing host and making our time in France so wonderful, Christian! :)

We had a lovely stay at Apolline’s place, the house is beautiful with a big garden, the place has all you need and is very clean, it’s manageable with fice adults but the third bedroom and living space are a bit small. Apolline is very responsive and nice. Would definitely recommend!

What a wonderfully peaceful place to stay. It was great sitting outside in the morning having a coffee listening to the birds singing and the church bells ringing. It was also nice to have access to the gardens with a swimming pool, tennis court and table tennis. We were holidaying to visit the various D-Day beaches and museums which were all within a short drive. The property is well appointed with everything you could need. Arnaud & Jessica were friendly and helpful and would respond to any questions within minutes.

Very good stay in a beautiful villa that exactly matches the description. The most covered and heated pool, a pleasant garden and activities for everyone. The hosts are very nice and welcoming. we highly recommend this beautiful villa for gatherings with family or friends.

I had a fantastic stay. The accommodation was exactly as described – clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. From the moment I arrived, the owners made me feel right at home, with clear and friendly communication throughout my stay.

Sébastien was a very thoughtful and pleasant host. Listing matches photos. I would say that for 4 people it is a little small, because there is a lack of storage for groceries and clothes. Bedding and very comfortable. The CAP FUN games and pool are always great for the kids.

We enjoyed a short week in Guillaume's lovely accommodation. Everything was in order, welcome flower on the table, friendly short explanation about the area and above all really a beautiful environment and view, even from inside the cottage. Was really enjoyable for us. The swimming pool is heated and is right in front of the door, but with a fence and gate around the garden, so also handy with toddlers :). Delightfully spacious 2-piece lawn where you can play football, volleyball, jump on a trampoline or (as parents;)) just as deliciously on a swing bench you can drink your morning coffee with a beautiful view! T village is very close and has bakeries and a delicious pizzeria. We also did day trips and games in the afternoon in rainy weather. All in all, a wonderful place where I would like to come back.

I would 100% recommend this listing. Celine our host was responsive and very friendly. All the instructions were clear and the listing matches the photos and our expectations. Very well located and very well equipped, we were with small children, we had everything we needed. Thank you very much for this Norman break in this very nice setting.

The cottage was everything advertised and more. Beds were very comfortable; literature was provided for local attractions, groceries restaurants; emergency contacts, etc. Loved the horses on their breeding farm, and the serene rural setting - just the perfect distance from everything we came to see. Our gracious host, Venessa, was bilingual and spoke English, which made communicating with her much easier. The kitchen as well as the entire cottage was beautifully furnished with everything we needed. She had even provided games, and other children items -which we didn’t need - but we appreciated seeing the details given to the needs of visiting families. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy the pool or hot tub, but would have enjoyed spending time at both amenities, given more time for our trip. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone desiring to travel to the Normandy area of France.

The house is beautiful, practical and very cozy. The covered terrace is wonderful for enjoying breakfast outside and also for staying outside longer in the evening. The landing beaches are easy to reach. In Bayeux, there are very good bakeries and all shops. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and can absolutely recommend the house!

This cottage in the middle of nature is a real gem! We had a great stay at Marie-Anne's accommodation. The exterior is as pleasant as the interior, very well organized and furnished. The absence of TV and Internet allowed us to disconnect completely. We'll be happy to go back!

A beautiful Chambre d'hôtes close to the Normandy coast. Chantal and her husband are very hospitable and welcoming. They provide a wonderful breakfast including homemade cake and many local products. We thoroughly recommend

We recommend this accommodation ideally located a few steps from shops with a nice sea view. The place is relaxing and very pleasant! In addition, the hosts are very flexible.

An incredible lodge. With a magnificent view. The stay was great, too bad it was only for one night, I would have liked to stay longer. You can go with your eyes closed . Everything is as shown in the photos. The Nordic bath was really a gem. Clean accommodation. A little extra for our 4-legged friends who are also welcome. Thank you so much.

Nothing negative to say about this stay, apart from the noise from the outside traffic & a select few neighbours, the stay and house was beautiful! It looked exactly like the pictures, everything was clean & tidy and the location was perfect for a relaxing stroll down to the marina, with all the shops & restaurants close by. The host was attentive & explained everything clearly. The property was beautifully modern, whilst preserving the wonderful original architecture of Normandy. Overall, would definitely stay again!
