What a charming cottage with so much history. Beautiful bear claw tub. An amazing view of the st. Johns river. Front porch was nice for sitting The beds were cozy rooms very inviting. My family and I would stay there again.

Absolutely beautiful home! Extremely well equipped, very spacious and clean. The pool table was an added bonus and very much enjoyed. Kristel is an excellent host and goes above and beyond to ensure a perfect stay. Will definitely be back!

This was a wonderful stay, Elizabeth was a friendly and helpful host, and the house was absolutely beautiful! Very well renovated, super comfy, and with all needs in mind. Great backyard and deck, lots of seating, and only a 10 minute stroll to restaurants, beach, etc. A gem of a spot!

If you’re looking for a remote landing spot as you explore Maine, this will be perfect for you. We enjoyed the peaceful ambiance, especially the hot tub, after day tripping to other places. Highly recommend you 1) visit the Hannaford grocery store in Ellsworth before you get to the house, 2) research the surrounding area for any meals out, and 3) for sure go to Acadia National Park. Watch out for deer if you return to the house after dusk.

This is a great find on Campobello island. It’s about 15 minutes from Lubec, ME which has more grocery stores, shops, and restaurants (though there’s a small market, Nikki’s Island convenience, near this AirBnB). Most restaurants on Campobello had closed for the season in October, but this place had everything we needed to cook our meals. We loved the views from the deck, and we had a couple of our meals out there. It’s a short drive to Head Harbour lighthouse, and we loved exploring Quoddy Head State Park in Maine. The AirBnB itself is very clean, and Natalie is so helpful and friendly!

An absolutely fabulous 3 week stay while a renovation was happening back home. Place was great, had everything, great host, close to downtown. I fell in love with the Little Salt Cottage and St. Andrews by the Sea!

I can’t say enough good things about this place. The space was restored and decorated beautifully. The hosts thought of every comfort you might need. Some of the reviews mention the condition of the entry /public spaces which is accurate but once you get inside and see how lovely this place is, it just doesn’t matter. I travel a lot and use air bnb a lot and this was hands down the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed -including hotels. Highly recommend!!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Rosanne was a wonderful host. Their place is very clean and comfortable. They've really taken the time to think of all the little details. We felt right at home. We'll definitely be back next time we're in St. Andrews!

We stayed at Norene's for a couple of days and we loved it there! the space was very cozy, felt like a home. It had all the amenities, the kitchen was particularly well stocked with coffee, sugar, creamers, etc. We had a bit of a trouble with the lock at the beginning but it was our fault and Norene was very helpful and very friendly helping us. The place was super well located and the area was very lively due to halloween. All in all, would recommend!

WoW! Renovated apartment with a lot of character. The terrace was very nice too. Super easy to walk to the main street of St Andrews while looking at the beautiful houses. St Andrews is a big favorite!

The location is in a beautiful area. We'd purposely shortened our stay due to being early for whale watching in Eastport. As a result, we set out to explore other parts of Maine. We, however, recommend staying at Joanne's as it's lovely, cosy, and affordable – it has a private deck and gorgeous views along with most of what you need at an Airbnb to make your stay a relaxing one.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! The location was amazing. Right off Main Street and totally walkable to anything in bar harbor with a parking space! It was on the right side of bar harbor to get to Acadia within 5 minutes. We loved all of the restaurants close by and the access to the park. The place was so comfortable and cozy! Beautifully decorated and warm after cold hikes in the park. We did not hear any noise at all from the hospital which is tiny compared to the hospitals in Virginia. I didn’t even notice it was there. Brianne was so kind and responsive and recommended lots of good hiking and dining options. I can’t wait to come back here again! If I could give this home 6 stars I would and I am usually a picky reviewer! We will definitely be back to the same house if we come back to Bar Harbor, which I hope we do! It’s a great base for exploring Acadia! The kitchen was well stocked and the bedroom was very comfortable. Thanks so much for sharing with us!

So perfect, who designed this??? Everything was clean and easy. I loved all the hooks and stow away options that let me live out of a suitcase. Brian also gave us the best Acadia and Bar Harbor tips for must sees and hiking and dining. Walking to downtown Bar Harbor, including a grocery store was so helpful. Already told my grown children to stay here when they come to Acadia

Brian's place was great!! It is a great location - you can walk to all the main shops and restaurants right in Bar Harbor, and it is also just blocks from the Bar Island bridge that you can walk at low tide. It's also an easy/quick drive to Acadia. The place itself was just as pictured and very clean and cozy. Before I booked, I read in some others' reviews that the parking was tight, which made me a little nervous, but when I got there, I thought the parking was just fine! I have a regular SUV and had no issues. Brian was also very communicative - I didn't have any issues or need anything while I was there, but he was nice in checking in with me anyway. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience staying in Brian's place. Clean and well-appointed, it worked out really well for our group of 4 with easy check-in and parking. Great location at the end of the main street in Bar Harbor which was easily walkable to everything we wanted to do. A nice farmer's market (I assume seasonal) was in the parking lot next door on Sunday morning. I would recommended for anyone looking for a solid base-camp for hiking Acadia or boat trips.

Very clean and comfortable. Lots of dishes, cups and silverware! Plenty of restaurants and a grocery store nearby. Enjoyed our stay!
