Wee Highland Hideaway Hut with integral bathroom

Our brand new wee hideaway shepherds hut is located in the Scottish Highlands surrounded by mountains and the most stunning scenery. Insulated for all year round use this cosy traditional hut is located on a traditional working Scottish croft with Highland cows, Hebridean sheep, goats, ducks, chickens, geese and peacocks. The hut is situated in a zero light pollution area with perfect views of Ben Cruachan and Ben a'Chocuill This is a brand new hut for 2020 and we will keep uploading photos.

Arrochar Annex: amazing views, 1 hr from Glasgow

This self contained modern Annex is situated in the picturesque village of Arrochar, on the banks of Loch Long, with stunning views of the "Cobbler" amidst the Arrochar Alps. It is an ideal base for walkers, cyclists, swimmers, kayakers & those wishing to experience the Scottish Highlands, within easy reach of Glasgow & Stirling. The mature gardens have extensive bird life, with red squirrels and deer visitors. The village has good train and bus connections and a few lovely old local pubs.

We have 2 listings at the rear of our cottage (double or twin room) each having their own entrance & en-suite shower room. Freesat tv, mini fridge, kettle, toaster,crockery & cutlery. We provide coffee, tea, sugar & milk sachets & couple of breakfast items. We are within walking distance to Tarbet pier, Tarbet bus stop & Tarbet & Arrochar train station.I like to give guests privacy & it’s self check in. PLEASE NOTE This is a small bedroom & small ensuite with NO cooking facilities or lounge.

Wee Coo Byre

Converted former byre in bucolic surroundings. Located just outside the village of Strachur, it is an ideal stop for anyone walking the Cowal Way and is close to the unexplored mountains of Cowal and the beautiful Loch Eck and Loch Fyne. The little cottage shares a garden with the main house (where I live most of the time) and is set amongst mature trees, rippling burns and abundant wildlife including chirruping birds, red squirrels and pine martens. A lovely place to unwind and relax.

Open all year. Argyll Retreat is a cosy timber cabin located in the Argyll Forest Park and Loch Lomond and Trossachs Natiomal Park. It is owned and managed by myself. The lodge is layed out for a couple or solo travellers and pets are very welcome and stay at no extra charge. There are many activities in the area for the outdoor enthusiast and Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains. The lodge is also a great place to relax. The Bolthole is an artist designed cabin with utterly spellbinding views down Loch Awe. It is an off grid, furnished and very cosy cabin which sleeps 2 in a double bed. Relax by the woodburning stove, boil a cup of tea in the whistling kettle while you watch the birds, or walk 80m to the loch to wild swim, fish, read in one of the hammocks or have a barbecue. Lie out on dark evenings to watch the stars, enjoy the silence and escape from the demands of the modern world..
