Great stay

If you’re looking for peace and quiet, you found the place! Walking the beach daily, was a dream! The location to the beach is perfect! Can’t really cook in there other than heating up food, and restaurants are around 10 minutes away which isn’t too bad, just something to keep in mind.

My wife and I stayed two nights and hosted relatives and friends one evening. The dining room and living area accommodated eight dinner guests quite easily. The condo was super clean, modern, and well appointed. I liked that it was in a neighborhood and across the street from an elementary school where kids were playing in the afternoon. The location is a quick drive to the commercial area, or a moderately long walk if one is inclined to take a more leisurely pace. I would very much like to return to this condo on a future visit and recommend it highly to others.

This was a very sweet little home! I loved the layout, the kitchen had everything I needed, and I slept better than I do in my own bed. It had a very private feel, even in the midst of a resort community, and though I was working long days and really just back there to eat and sleep, there IS a hot tub on the deck outside that looked SO inviting. I really enjoyed my stay here and I'm sure anyone would :),

We stayed in apartments B &C. Apartment B could use alittle more kitchen items like mixing bowls, better cookie sheets for the oven and a large pot for cooking corn on the cob or crab in. Nice area.

It’s self check in and out. The unit is almost brand new.The local market is only two minutes drive away. There’s a short hike close to the place. The master bath room floor has temperature control.I bet if you come in the summer, there’s lot more things to do. Overall, this is a nice place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay and so close to a beautiful private beach. It was quiet and peaceful. Close to town and restaurants. Place was roomy. Shower was definitely very small but worked for us. It was a little difficult at first to figure out the lockley to get inside. Once we did it was not a problem. We had a such a nice stay and would definitely be back.

The Rogue Beach House is a beautiful home that accommodates small to larger groups! The location is a sight to see with the view of the jetty and pacific ocean a perfect sight for serenity! The owners are a wonderful friendly couple that show how much they love their home to share as well as be sure all you need is at your fingertips. This was our second trip, first time with family, this time with friends! We will book again!!!

Had a great stay. I loved that the apartment is so close to the beach. I cooked for 5 of the nights we were there and the kitchen had everything we needed. David offered us some plums from his tree and they were perfectly sweet. Communication was great. As a heads up, there is a hen that quietly crows in the morning. Fortunately, my kids slept through it every morning. His well trained dog does a great job herding the hens.

Was great view and location, could have been cleaned a little better, but over all great experience.

Nice little place. We would stay here again. Need extra batteries for remotes on hand. We had to purchase our own to use two of the tvs. Great place!

Great price walking distance to the pier and lots of great restaurants and fishing charters. Nice private hot tub clean and comfortable good beds. Anyone staying here needs to go to the fat Irish restaurant and get the Irish lord sandwich best ever.

We were on a road trip down the 101 and this was the perfect landing spot for a nights rest before heading into the Redwood National Forrest. Patrick was a friendly host and greeted up upon arrival. We arrived late and did not have a chance to take in the coastal views unfortunately. Snacks are provided during the stay and was nice to have because many places were closed when we arrived. EV charging is provided and if you have a Tesla, you will need your own JJ adapter to charge your car and was easy to access. We would stay here again

Patti and Rodney are wonderful hosts! Instructions for arrival were very clear and we were greeted with kindness as soon as we arrived. The apartment has a phenomenal view of the mountains and coastline. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. I am definitely looking forward to returning to their beautiful space in the future.

What a lovely place. The space was so comfortable, especially the sun room with large double sliding doors. We loved that space so much we slept in that room with the doors open. However we did not use the fold out sofa bed. We gave it a test drive and did find it pretty lumpy and bumpy. The kitchen was well equipped. Although the stove was a little tricky as it's a vintage appliance and the markers for dial settings are warn off. All entrances include a number of stairs. For able bodied people this is no problem. For those with limited mobility this is not a good fit. The beach access is adventurous with 198 steps and seververal landings for enjoying the view along the way. For our girls trip this was a perfect fit for us.

Because this was a brand new listing, we did not really know what to expect. The Modoc gem upstairs really exceeded our expectations. First, it is absolutely sparkling clean. It is also very private with a beautiful little deck that gives you a view of the forest. It took us about six minutes to walk to the beach, where there is just a stunning view up and down the coastline. We will be back next year!

We were looking for a location near the beach, within walking distance and this spot was perfect. Our side window looked directly over the ocean. Heaven! I loved all the little things Susan did to make us feel at home. At check in we had bananas, granola bars, microwave popcorn and coffee available. Inside our unit she had pancake mix, syrup, coffee and tea available. We felt like we stepped back in time with what appeared to be a former motel turned into individual rental units fully equipped with a kitchenette and back porch. Susan’s detail to lovely decor similar to my mom’s 70’s home was endearing. If you’re not looking for glammer and glitz but a comfortable, affordable beach front stay, this is a perfect spot.

Sea Escape is an amazing experience at an incredible price! The rooms are clean and comfortable, the beds are high quality, the shower is clean and very efficient, and the owners are friendly and helpful. The best part of all is the easy and quick access to a wonderful beach that is pristine and where you feel like you have the whole beach to yourself. I am very pleased with my experience and I plan to return! Brent

Cute little space to stay, really close walk to the beach! Kid friendly, my son had a great time. Comfy beds and cute little kitchen. Perfect for a little weekend getaway.

I loved staying here! It was so beautiful and comfortable:) everything I needed was nearby and I loved getting the beach to myself early in the morning for a stroll.
