Staying in James’ renovated train carriage was pure magic! From start to finish, everything about our stay was unforgettable. The carriage itself is beautifully restored—full of character, charm, and thoughtful touches that made it feel both unique and incredibly comfortable. You can really tell how much care and creativity James has poured into every detail. Waking up surrounded by countryside views, with the soft creak of old wood and the morning light streaming through the windows, was such a peaceful experience. The space was spotlessly clean, cozy, and surprisingly spacious, with all the modern comforts you’d expect—without losing any of the vintage charm. James was a fantastic host: welcoming, helpful, and full of great local tips. It’s the perfect getaway if you’re looking for something special and a little out of the ordinary. Highly recommended!

Had a fabulous stay, loads of space to spread out, with a great dining table to have a get together. The Old Post Office is quirky and full of character and the perfect venue for a big family meet up. Spotlessly clean, we wanted for nothing. Great Break!

We had a wonderful time at pippas place such a unique space in such a beautiful spot. The property is cozy and very homely and comfortable and the beach and local area are marvellous a great weekend stay! Will deffo be back

The location was great, loads of excellent walks around in the hills which was exactly what we wanted!

A great, homely, caravan with all the facilities we needed. A nice quiet site which is a bit older fashioned and quirky. Beautiful views of the sea and Trimingham beach from the site. Partial sea view from the caravan. Everything was clean and well kept. Nice little pool, clubhouse/bar and cafe on site. Easy access via key safe. Host very communicative and responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

A wonderful one night stay. So quiet and relaxing. Great weather, doors open overlooking a meadow busy with butterflies, hot bath under the stars. Some chatty sheep to keep us company. I was intrigued to stay in a container. It’s sturdy for sure. Loved every minute. Thank you.

One of the best places we’ve stayed in. An amazing place surrounded by nature. We had a great time watching and listening to all the birds. Lots of lovely places to explore around.

This is a beautiful little place in the middle of the countryside. You are surrounded by wildlife and it is so peaceful. It is close to the farm but you hear nothing in regards to machinery etc. The entrance to the track from the main road could easily be missed, which we did but no issues turning back around. As you drive up the track you are stared at by a load of curious sheep which was amusing. Access was easy and the place is quaint, very clean, fully stocked with life's necessities including bottled water, milk, tea, coffee, biscuits and fresh eggs. Everything we needed when we arrived. The hosts are amazing, very helpful and flexible, we were able to arrange an earlier check in due to my mum being 81 years old and the timing of our arrival. I will say though, the upstairs bed area, there is not much head space so your tallest people should stay downstairs. Overall this was the perfect place to spend a couple of days while attending my nieces wedding. Well worth the money.

The Copper Hut was far better than we expected. Exceeded our expectations. So quiet, beautiful surroundings. Fresh eggs was a real bonus, thank you hens. A fabulous relaxing break. Will definitely return.

We cannot recommend this place enough! It was exaclty as described, the container was spotless and the hot tub was amazing. All very private. Janet was so welcoming, easy to check in and on Saturday Janet sent a message to see if we needed items topped up which i thought was a very nice touch. We will definitely be back Thank you Janet

The best place to stay in Skye! A very quiet little place, with all the amenities you need. The view from the cabin was absolutely breathtaking. It’s also quite conveniently located, so you can easily travel around the Isle. Everything was impeccably clean and neat, all prepared for a great stay. Highly recommended! Thank you very much for this amazing stay!

Superb stay and would love to go back. Very secluded and extremely peaceful. Getting woken up by the sunrise and looking onto the lake … extremely calming! Lodge is well equipped, we made a fire on two evenings in the wood burner. Lake is nice to swim in. Kitchen is okay equipped. Only considerable downer was the wifi and lack of a desk to sit at and work. Wifi was too weak to do any video conference calls, sometimes even messages didn’t go through. At this price point a disappointment, though they said that they are working on it.

A lovely place to stay, very peaceful and in an amazing location. Jordan’s mum welcomed us and showed us to the Airbnb - she was very welcoming and made us feel right at home. Had some really good features, like the projector and the unique shower! Would love to come back again.

Booked last minute and communication from Cat was fantastic from the start. Such a beautiful space, so peaceful and the cabin was exactly as described. The spa bath was such a great addition. Highly recommended and will be looking to book again in the near future.
