Hotel holiday rentals in British Isles

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Motherby House and am so grateful to the hosts, Jacquie and David, for making me feel so welcome. They’re both kind and engaging—and they gave me some great recommendations for places to eat and visit in the area. Breakfast was delicious and Jacquie kindly made me a tasty packed lunch for my hike! I’d be very happy to stay here again.

El lugar es hermoso, la vista muy bonita, tiene lo necesario, solo para descansar en lugar muy bello. A pasos del muelle. La zona es pequeña y los restaurantes locales cierran temprano. En general muy bonito. Sin duda nos volveríamos a hospedar ahí.

Margret und ihr Mann sind sehr freundlich! Wir konnten uns gut unterhalten. Das Frühstück war lecker und ausreichend. Die Unterkunft einfach, aber sauber.

Nous avons passé trois nuits à quatre dans l'habitacle du capitaine de la péniche Lucie. C'est une expérience ! Un cocon où il fait bon se retrouver au chaud après avoir visiter les marchés de Noël de Gand et de Bruges (desservis rapidement par l'autoroute). Nous avons apprécié pourvoir faire notre petit déjeuner et notre diner car la cuisine est très bien équipée. Les chambres sont étroites mais c'est normal, nous sommes sur un bateau ! Le matin la vue sur le canal est très agréable avec le levé du soleil sur l'eau et l'herbe gelée ! La literie est très confortable et la salle de douche fonctionnelle. Nous avons tous aimés cette expérience, d'autant plus que les hôtes sont très accueillants et présents sur le bateau. Nous recommandons cet hébergement aux personnes qui aiment l'insolite avec du confort !

Sonja’s BnB was perfect for what I wanted - just a single night stay to attend an event close by - and Sonja herself was helpful and polite and we had a lovely chat over breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

Het is een geweldig verblijf! 1 van mijn favoriete!!! Bernie was snel met vragen beantwoorden en tijdens ons verblijf was ze er ook altijd als we vragen hadden. Zoveel tips en zoveel liefde. Het ontbijt was ook perfect! Alles was perfect! Als ik ooit terug kom naar Ierland verblijf ik hier zeker weer ❤️ side note: dichtstbijzijnde restaurant is 1,5 uur lopen of 15 min rijden. Maar in de zomer zal er vast meer open zijn

Both Alan and Hilary were amazing. Lovely couple. Couldn’t do enough for us. Offered to dry our clothes when we got wet and made a pot of tea to warm us up. Then made a lovely breakfast in the morning. Very highly recommend. Would definitely go again. Short walk to high street. We loved our stay. Many thanks to Hilary and Alan x

Our time at Delny Glamping was, arguably, too short. I think it was easily our childrens' favourite place to stay during our last visit to Scotland. At first, I was a little concerned by the concept of glamping with a 4 and a 2 year old, but our kids thought the tight quarters - especially the adorable separate bedroom of the Wheesht house - was really fun. We got really lucky with the weather and were able to enjoy grilling and dining outside, enjoyed making a fire at night in the center cannopy while it rained. Our kids were constantly going between the playground and visiting the animals... it really had everything a family could want! Paul, the host, was also incredibly friendly and supportive with whatever questions and needs we had. All in all, if our next Scotland adventure takes us up the NC500 again, we will be back!

What a beautiful find! A really well presented, perfectly clean and tidy place to stay. Hot tub was ready for when we got there and checked throughout. Everything included that you’d need including towels, a few washing pods and dishwasher tablets. The added body wash, shampoo and conditioner and bottle of wine was a lovely addition. Didn’t use the facilities on site but looks like there’s a good amount and the staff we did speak to were lovely. Will absolutely be returning :)

Un séjour parfait, où l'on a l'impression que le temps s arrête tellement le lieu est paisible et reposant . Le logement est propre , conforme à la description. Catherine est aux petits soins et également un atout indéniable de cette location.

Hotel67 is gorgeous! Our room overlooked the national park area and we saw deers all through the evening! The room was beautiful, they gave us a packaged lunch which was much appreciated. Strong focus on no waste and using compostable packaging everywhere. Located close to anything you need to do in Killarney, including the Ring of Kerry attractions. Highly recommend!

super Unterkunft, zwar etwas weiter weg von der Innenstadt aber das weiß man ja bei Buchung. Der Spaziergang in den Kern der Stadt dauert circa 20-30 Minuten, je nachdem wie schnell man ist. Alles hat super geklappt, wir wurden auch regelmäßig gefragt ob noch alles gut ist und ob wir was bräuchten. Haben uns aber sehr gut selbst zurecht gefunden, da alles sehr selbsterklärend, oder sehr gut beschrieben war.

Amazing stay! The best Airbnb I’ve seen so stunning and pretty. Everything was thought of lovely little touch with some fresh food and even treats for storm our doggy. It was so private and peaceful and a perfect base for exploring Clare. Lahinch was amazing lovely beach and dodi for a coffee and Hugo’s for a pastry are a must! Literally a home away from home and needed nothing but ourselves as Bernie had it all!

My wife and had had a fantastic stay at David's with our two sausages dog. Lovely big garden for the dogs to explore and felt right at home. beautiful setting and very quiet at night. There are so many great places to visit nearby and David was really helpful recommending places to go. He was easy to get hold of and really enhanced our trip with his local knowledge. The lodge was lovely inside and we really enjoyed relaxing at the lodge after a day exploring the beautiful nature Norfolk has to offer. Would definitely stay again.

Nous avons passé un agréable moment au sein des logements Bali et Factory. Je recommande à 100 % et les yeux fermés, nous avons été très bien accueillis.

We had a wonderful stay here. Both the house and our room were lovely and spacious, exactly what we were hoping for. We received such a warm and friendly welcome from David & Winston the dog which made us feel right at home straight away. We met Claudine later and she was just as friendly and welcoming. The bed was really comfortable, the shower was nice and hot and we had everything we needed for our stay. David came to chat to us as we left and wished us all the best on the rest of our travels which was lovely. Highly recommend! Thank you so much David & Claudine!

Breda was so lovely! Myself and my friends had the best few days staying here. The photos really do not do the house justice it is a beautiful stay!
