Wow what a beautiful place! We booked this for a special wedding anniversary to celebrate with our close family. The gift of a bottle of wine and a cake was such a lovely touch. Thank you so much. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mayflower. The young children loved seeing the ducks and wildlife come right up to the deck, and the adults loved the hot tub. The robes were a lovely touch too. We had no problem finding the Mayflower and the instructions for checking in and the online guidebook were very useful. There is so much to do on the doorstep if you can drag yourself away from the lodge. It was such a peaceful and magical place and somewhere I would love to return to.

We had a fab weeks stay in the Little Barn. The pictures don’t do the place justice; Andrew and Kate are friendly and welcoming, but Milo is the standout host - welcoming, charming, and more than happy to show our spaniel around the large garden. Kind and considerate welcoming touches such as coffee pods, milk, and fizz were very welcome! The hot tub is dreamy. The location is amazing and easily accessible into the city centre, but great also as a base to explore further afield. It’s a perfect space for 2. The bedroom is lovely, the bed is on the firm side but it might be my overly sensitive back. Will definitely love to book again.

We enjoyed a 3 night stay at The Stables. It was just as beautiful as the photos suggested and a perfect location for visiting Bath. It was a simple hop onto a bus at the end of the drive and be in the city centre within 15 mins. The quality of the furnishings in The Stables were clear to see & made our stay that much more luxe to help celebrate my 40th birthday. We had great weather and took full advantage of the hot tub to relax after a long day exploring Bath. We had a couple of queries for Nancy during our stay and Nancy was very quick to respond in a very polite & helpful manner. Thanks for a lovely stay Nancy!

Great location in the middle of Castle Combe, to stay in a property with so much history was fascinating. The house was clean, everything worked, beds are very comfortable. Marlit replied promptly to our questions making everything very easy. We had a great stay.

I cannot fault this home! We all kept commenting on how lovely it was during our stay! It was a lovely location for visiting Paulton's Park (the main reason for our visit to this part of the world) and we also went to Stourhead which was beautiful, but the house made family time so easy and enjoyable. In the lead-up to arriving, I contacted Victoria quite a few times with some questions and she couldn't have been more accomodating of my baby brain! Thank you! we've already recommended it to friends! x

I had a fantastic stay at Nicola’s house – it was everything I needed and more. The place was spotless, really well equipped, and had everything you could possibly want for a comfortable and relaxed break. The location was perfect too – brilliant for local walks and just a short distance from the town, which made everything super convenient. Nicola was an amazing host – friendly, thoughtful, and always quick to respond. You can really tell she’s put a lot of care into making her place feel like a home from home. Would absolutely recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

Hope Cottage is amazing. The location is wonderful, the house itself has everything you need and makes you feel like you're staying in a proper British cottage. Sarah is an amazing host: she answered any questions I had very quickly and was just in general very kind. One thing to note: the house isn't built for tall people. I'm 181 cm tall (about 5'11) and I had to bend down a bit whilst going through doorways or using the shower. It didn't really bother me, but it's just something to be aware of. Whether you want a quiet retreat or a homebase to explore the area, this is an amazing place to do so!

I had a wonderful stay at this property during my trip to Bath! The location was absolutely amazing—super convenient with quick and easy routes straight into the city, which made exploring Bath so simple. One of the standout features was the parking: it was easily accessible and there was always space available, which took a lot of stress out of the trip. The house itself was spotless and very well maintained. It felt comfortable and welcoming from the moment I stepped in—a perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. Everything was exactly as described, if not better. Overall, it was a great experience and I truly hope to stay here again on my next visit to Bath. Highly recommended and thank you for having us!

Highly recommended! It's a lovely cottage, with a beautiful garden and patio. Sue was very nice and responsive, giving us wonderful tips for restaurants and pubs. Bradford-on-Avon is a lovely town. We especially liked the long walks next to the canal watching the longboats go by. There's a great pub at Avonclif, where you have the most gorgeous views on the river Avon whilst enjoying a nice beer. The proximity to the lovely city of Bath is also a big bonus. This wasn't our first trip to Bradford-on-Avond and it will certainly not be our last!

Gillian’s gift of eggs and scones for breakfast was a godsend! The towels were huge, the garden lush. We lit a fire and listened to the doves coo late into the night. We were sore from a week of travel and her cottage was a respite. Thank you!!!

We had a wonderful stay! Ian was a very friendly and thoughtful host — he even prepared breakfast for us, which was a lovely touch. The room was spotlessly clean, and the facilities were excellent, including a washing machine, dishwasher, and fridge. The location was great too: just a 15-minute walk to the Royal Crescent and around 30 minutes to the city centre. Very convenient. We highly recommend staying here!

Lyn and David are the most wonderful hosts! David build the home from the ground up and it is very beautiful! We loved how homely it felt, comfortable beds, views that are out of this world and a really peaceful place to be! We can’t thank you both enough for allowing us to share your slice of Mendip Hills beauty!! Lyn left some homemade scones which were to die for! We have to revisit as we didn’t explore all the amazing walks and Wells in more detail , and would not think twice to stay again. PS there is a beautiful little shepherds hut nearby with the same amazing views also built by David (Lyn said because he was bored!) Hopefully David remains bored, we look forward to his next amazing space/s. We highly recommend you visit!

We had a wonderful six days at Pat’s lovely property. Pat and Tony were great hosts, they made us very welcome. The area is very peaceful with lovely walks for us and our dog. We would certainly recommend the Wagon House as a really nice base to explore this lovely location . Regards Tony and Pippa

Ann's place is incredible- stayed for two nights and there is everything you could possibly need or anticipate in the house. We had a great time - the pool and hot tub were very clean and the house was perfect! Ann was extremely responsive and helpful. Would absolutely book again!

We had such a lovely stay at the Potting Shed. The location was beautiful- so peaceful and picturesque. The Airbnb was cosy and the bed was extremely comfy. We were there in 30 degree heat but it was lovely and cool inside. Would highly recommend and would love to come back one day and stay again!

We spent 6 days at Rob’s place with our 3 children. The weather was not our friend but the onsite swimming pool meant we still had a fabulous time. The hot tub was a great addition to the property. The cottage had plenty of room for us all & the spa facilities were fantastic. Great location as well, we had a lovely morning wandering around Cirencester. Rob was super helpful. We used 2 of the recommended places to eat & both were fantastic options. Lovely stay!

We've just returned from another wonderful stay at this property in Long Sutton. As returning guests, we were delighted to find it just as perfect as we remembered. The location is stunning, offering peace and tranquility, and the property itself is immaculate. This time, we particularly enjoyed the pool and sauna – a real treat! We can't wait to return. Beautiful cottage in a lovely location. Easy walk to the pub across the fields and a lovely owner who was very responsive and willing to share her dogs with our children! Pool is a fab bonus and location is great for local villages and attractions, such as the Cotswold Wildlife Park. We didn’t want to leave and have already re booked!

Rosalind was a very friendly and communicative host. She offered a range of breakfasts and recommended some lovely local walks. The property was in a fab location with lots of nice walks/pubs nearby.

What a fantastic stay we had at Kate’s place. She was an incredible host, nothing was too much trouble for her. The pictures really don’t show how gorgeous it truly is & it’s so much larger than the pictures show. We had a wonderful stay and hope to be back in the future xx
