Great stay in central Bowness, very close to the town centre - about 2 mins walk. Clear instructions sent to find the apartment. Very clean and good for large groups of up to 6. Quick tip for getting there - go via Rayrigg road and not lake road as you can’t get through the very small through road.

We had a really great stay with our young baby. The apartment was really spacious and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for walking to Bowness. We would love to stay again.

Incredible find. Excellent location with access to stunning viewpoints within a 5 minute walking distance. Very easy to walk into bowness, and there’s a bus stop at the end of the road if you want to get around the lakes by bus. Clean apartment, very spacious. We didn’t have any body wash etc provided so you may want to bring your own, and we also had to get our own kitchen towel for cleaning purposes. Otherwise, it was a well fitted kitchen and a very comfortable stay overall. Paul gave very good instructions and even provided a couple of walking guides/maps for walks you can do from the door step. I will definitely be returning if I can!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Greg’s place “Penthouse”. Communication was very clear and with all the information we needed to hit the ground running on our little trip away to Bowness. We found the place easy enough thanks to the instructions provided by Greg and it was great to have private, dedicated parking space - something we’ve not had before when we’ve stayed in such a central location before. Self check in was really smooth using the lockbox to let ourselves In. The penthouse was spotlessly clean. Bed was incredibly comfy and didn’t want to get up this morning! Kitchen facilities were great with everything we needed to cook a fab breakfast before heading out for a days walking. And the view from the living area, wow! The location of penthouse was second to none, only 2 minutes walk and we were in Bowness where there was a great selection of bars and restaurants for our evening meal and a few drinks. Overall a fantastic stay! We’ll be back!

Fabulous cosy little apartment tucked down a quiet side street yet central to the town and a short walk to the lake. Allocated parking space a bit tight but very useful in a town where parking is at a premium. Kitchen well equipped (a few basics would have been useful ... tea bags/coffee etc) but overall a great little place to stay. Thanks

The most beautiful property at the most beautiful location. The apartment is even better than what the pictures manage to capture, with the location to die for. You have incredible views from each one of the windows. They have provided with very well laid out and detailed information and instructions about everything in and around. Will definitely revisit.

Great stay, perfect location and size for a couple

Had a wonderful stay and would definitely be back! It was a lovely property with stunning views of lake Windermere. It had all the amenities we needed and was a short walk down the hill to the shops and restaurants.

Robin is an exceptional host with a just as exceptional home. We ended up arriving later than anticipated at the dead of night, and also had some car issues (which he ended up rescuing us!) and he went beyond what a host would ever be expected to do. As well as providing helpful pointers on where to go & what to do. The place itself is absolutely beautiful, exactly like the photos. The log burner really makes the space for when you get home late and just want to relax and unwind. I can’t recommend this place enough, for the actual space and for what you get with Robin as a host who clearly cares deeply about his BnB and making guests feel welcome. Thanks and looking forward to coming again soon!!

This is a beautiful flat with a lovely view towards the Lake District hills. Quiet area, all amenities that you would need, and more, and lovely furnishings. The hosts are extra-attentive - birthday decorations and a gift&card we’re waiting for me, as my birthday fell on one of the days we stayed. Highly recommended for an enjoyable stay in Bowness.

The bed was exceptionally comfortable and i love a walkin shower/wet room. You were right about how hot it gets upstairs and I found putting the screen across the front in the morning. Such a lovely place to stay. Very clean very spacious and a lovely area to stay in. The facilities were brilliant this place has everything you could need or want and more. It’s in the perfect area for exploring and surrounded by lots of lovely eating and drinking places. We loved our stay and are looking forward to our next trip 😀

Beautiful place situated in the Main Street , however it’s lovely and quiet with parking nearby- both free on several streets and right next to the paid car park . There is on street 1 hr max parking directly outside the property so you can unload which was really handy . Various pubs / restaurants in the area and only approx 1 mile walk into Bowness . Communication with Jade was brilliant and we loved our PDF guide forwarded upon our arrival , which gave recommendations for eateries and things to do in the area as well as how to use the under floor heating and cinema projector for the TV which I loved . I particularly liked the kitchen hardware and breakfast bar - just lovely detail and touches . A beautiful , very clean and comfortable place which we throughly enjoyed coming back to and we will definitely be rebooking . Highly recommended . Thank you Jade x

Great flat in a superb location for all things Keswick. Very clean with everything you need for a short stay.

It was a lovely flat in a quiet location. Lots of walks direct from the door. Close to the centre and shops. Instructions for parking and access first class with photos.

Had a great couple of days here. Great central location with lots of pubs and places to eat. Easy to drive into The Dales for walks and Heather was a great host. Sweetcorn is a clean and cosy flat on the main road, pub directly next door and one across the road, both dog friendly 🙂. Car park is really close as well which was handy.

Such a steal last minute booking on a bank holiday, we were so surprised it hadn’t been booked being in such a central location and obviously the hot tub which is always a big swading point for us. The bathroom was absolutely gorgeous. So spacious for 2. The hot tub was a lovely temp with a little cover above us which helped with privacy from other houses and the rain. Though there was a little tear or two in it which meant rain seeped through but this didn’t bother us. We were a little taken back there wasn’t a microwave either but again this wasn’t an issue. Everything was spotless. Round the corner from one of our favourite pubs (the crafty baa) and plenty of food, drink and shops around. Thank you so much for having us, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay xx

Patrick’s apartment is a great place in a stunning location, with everything you need for your trip away. The place is ideal for friends looking for a couple of nights away. I would highly recommend and hope to return for another stay.

We had a lovely stay here. Very close by to the main town so it was a quick 5 minute taxi. The hosts had left a helpful handbook with recommendations for restaurants, pubs, taxi companies etc which was a lovely touch too!

A super apartment in a great location, and Jade was really helpful in the build-up to our stay and throughout. Would definitely recommend.

A lovely loft - perfect and just what we needed for our 2 day mini-break. The loft was much bigger than we anticipated so that was a lovely surprise. The little touches were great too - fresh towels, milk, butter, instructions for the hot tub, even some jigsaws for the rainy afternoon. Everything we needed. The outdoor space was so peaceful. Even though we were on the farm’s property, we felt right at home, comfortable and had the privacy we wanted. The neighbours were adorable - cows and their calves! The outdoor space was secure for our two dogs. Plenty of room for them to stretch their legs and play on the grass. Thanks for a great stay!

Jay's Nest it's a great place to stay. Friendly hosts, convenient location, close to the centre of the village and many beautiful walks on the doorstep. Perfect base for those who wish to explore Lake District. The flat has home from home feel. The kitchen has all essentials and no need to wash up, dishwasher does it for you. Clean, working washing machine with dryer if needed. The seating area very cosy with nice views through windows, you can relax after a long day walking. Big bedroom with comfortable bed and plenty of space for storing your gear/clothes etc. Again, super clean, couldn't ask for more. Fair size spotless ensuite with good size shower. Plenty of space to keep what you need in the bathroom. Sadly, due to the weather, we were not able to use the outside area where having a morning coffee or evening drink must be super enjoyable. It was our first time in LD and we will be back to Jay's Nest, that's for sure. Needless to say, we highly recommend Jay's Nest!

My partner and I were up for a break from work - arrived feeling stressed and left feeling happier. The hot tub was a lovely treat, rooms were lovely, decor was modern and cozy, and the location cannot be beaten.
