I booked this beautiful flat for one night, it’s very peaceful and quite, i highly recommend

I booked a place on a heritage textiles course at the Ancient Technology Centre. My husband wasn't attending the course, so we couldn't stay in the communal space. Sharne's self-contained annex was absolutely perfect. We stayed for three nights. The is kitchen well-equipped and the bed very comfortable. Sharne had kindly left a bottle of milk in the fridge for us (we actually brought our own) and some very delicious biscuits. The toilet/shower room is small, but perfectly adequate and was spotlessly clean. Sharne and family were away for the weekend, so unfortunately we didn't meet. Maybe next time. :-) On the first night, we enjoyed an excellent meal in the Sheaf of Arrows, which is a five-minute walk away.

Although I agree with some previous comments about some updating being needed it catered for my needs. The bedroom/lounge was comfortable and roomy. The shower had been just redone and well with plenty of hot water. The kitchen was well equipped. Parking within the pub carpark gave me peace of mind. Overall I had an enjoyable stay a stones throw from the famous Gold Hill. Daniel is a very friendly host and always went the extra mile with any request. Recommended.

Everything was clean and orderly. Terry and his parents helped and informed us well. For me as an older person the second floor was a bit strenuous, but the steps were good. The balconys were nice. Terry was always helpful.

Brendan was very quick to respond. Really enjoyed our stay and it’s a great location for the beach. Will definitely recommend to others

We came back to stay at this flat because it has a great location, is a perfect size for two people to stay comfortably and the little garden is also fantastic. It has everything you need for a lovely getaway and Otsile is a great host.

We cannot speak highly enough of this apartment! The hosts that greeted us were so friendly and welcoming, a true pleasure to meet them. Our check-in was quite late and the hosts were very accommodating to us. The location is superb - very close by to the docks for a stay before/after a cruise. The apartment is very spacious, comfortable beds and very clean. Great for a group of 5! It is very peaceful, we would definitely stay again if in Southampton. Thank you to our hosts for a wonderful stay!

Very clean and nicely presented. Great location with the new forest only minutes away which was ideal for us as we had our dog with us. Overall great little place to stay.

A truly wonderful place to get away from everyday life. It lived up to everything we imagined it would be, and more. Barry was so responsive when we had questions and extremely helpful. A great host. Lovely thoughtful touches also with biscuits & bubbly. Minstrel was a delight and our little one enjoyed seeing him each morning, along with all the bunnies in the field. The hot tub was excellent. We would definitely return in the future. Thank you so much.

We booked this house for a family vacation. we were four families, totalling 13 people and a baby the house is incrediblely well designed. everything is top quality. I wish I could have stayed for 4 nights instead 2 to really appreciate the house and location. would definitely recommend. rooms are spacious, the kitchen is incredible. so is the garden. can't find any faults to be honest.

Stephanie is a great host and was proactive whenever we needed her. All her instructions were crystal clear and the property was very clean and the rooms and amenities were exactly as described. Thanks a lot Stephanie for being such a humble and a great host.

Beautiful house and very clean. Emily was extremely proactive, sympathetic and accommodating when we needed an emergency linen wash for my daughter 🫣 She arranged for everything to be collected, tumble dried and returned well before bedtime so thank you!

A great stay for 2 nights. Super comfy bed and a really peaceful and relaxing place. The hot tub is lovely to relax in and it really is home from home. Will definitely stay again when in the area

I had a fantastic stay at Cootes Annexe from the moment I arrived. Harriet was an amazing host from booking to check out. The location was perfect, very peaceful and lots of footpaths and bridleways for some amazing walks, the annexe was spotless and exactly as described and pictured, with lots of little touches like air fresheners, abundance of fresh towels, hand washes and creams in both bathrooms etc. Harriet also left a fabulous welcome basket with all essentials along with treats, juice, tea, coffee and milk. Communication was excellent - responsive, friendly and very helpful without being intrusive. Harriet warmth shines through and she really does care about making her guests feel comfortable and welcome. I will definitely stay again and will highly recommend Cootes Annexe to anyone visiting this beautiful area. Thank you, Harriet, for such a wonderful stay!

Perfect for what we wanted x

Very well organised with everything you could possibly need on hand. Good amenities. Comfortable bed, a good shower and terrace. Everything was very clean, toiletries & coffee/tea available, overall great attention to detail and a good experience.

A short notice walking weekend in the New Forest in August meant accommodation was scarce but I found this little gem on Airbnb which turned out to be just 10 minutes from our walking start point in Godsall. After a 14 mile hike on Saturday I was pleased it was just 10 minutes drive to my accommodation and even better that the shower was hot and the kitchen equipped so I could heat up an evening meal. Lovely and peaceful, very pretty spot through the garden. Good internet signal and tv I could watch Netflix and BBCiplayer on, as well as lots of books to read from. The bed was very comfy as well. Unfortunately I didn’t spend long at the cottage as we walked both days but it,s a great spot and good value option for solo travellers.

We loved our stay at Faye’s flat! It was perfectly located for a last-minute beach getaway. The flat is clean, tidy, nicely decorated and in a perfect location. Exactly as described. Faye was always quick to respond, super helpful, & made check in very easy. We would highly recommend staying here and would gladly stay here again! Thanks for everything Faye! 😊

Richard was always responsive, and very helpful. The flat was clean and well prepared, but the absolute highlight has to be the beautiful garden. So perfect for a girls weekend or family weekend.
