Cabin holiday rentals in Borden

We stayed here for Derby weekend and couldn’t have been happier with it. Only thing we wished was different was a longer booking! Beautiful views of the Ohio River and very peaceful environment. Darlene was great with communication and instruction. Would recommend this stay to anyone looking to get away from all of the city commotion.

We loved staying here and it was the perfect location for our family Easter! I truly can’t say enough great things about this cabin and the owners! It was very clean and well appointed with anything you need and the owners were very accommodating and kind! They helped with a couple requests, including a pack and play and high chair. We were able to cook a large Easter dinner with the stocked kitchen appliances and cookware. The property is very serene with plenty of privacy and great options for hiking around. The location is also not too far to get to the grocery store and restaurants. Lastly, the pool table and hot tub were a hit! We highly recommend to stay here and know we will definitely be back for another stay!

Took a trip to Holiday World and wanted some place to stay that wasn’t a hotel! The hot tub definitely got used after long days at the park and beds were very comfy. We had a 40-45min drive from the park so I’m not sure we’ll do that again but would return for a Patoka lake getaway!

“If my words did glow with the gold of sunshine”…The Ripple Inn was an awesome cabin with a lot of the amenities of home. That comes in handy when traveling with a little one. Upon arrival check in was super easy, the place was clean, and the hot tub was ready for use. Cell service was spotty but wifi solved that problem. Gas and charcoal grills for outdoor cooking options. Great view pretty much surrounding the property. Host was responsive and very descriptive with directions, check in/out instructions, as well as with suggestions of things to do locally. “Reach out your hand, if your cup be empty” and fill it with some of the sweet nectar being made at one of the near by distilleries.

We just got back from our stay at Susan’s cabin this weekend and oh. My. GOODNESS! The location is absolutely breathtaking, beautiful and spacious cabin (two king beds being a major plus), family/kid friendly with games and baby gear like a high chair and a baby gate which came in handy for our 11 month old! We spent so much time outdoors and thoroughly enjoyed fishing in the pond out front! I cannot recommend this place enough. They are quick to respond to any messages and all of the instructions for everything are super clear. Susan and her husband were so kind and accommodating, they even gave us a ton of fresh eggs from their chickens which was incredible! Seriously, if you’re considering booking this stay, DO IT!

Beautiful cabin! Had a lot of fun playing horse shoes and hanging in the hot tub. The Green Egg grill is another added bonus. Strongly recommend!

We wanted a cabin in southern Indiana with nice surroundings, hot tub, and access to a park…we got sooo much more. Stairway to Heaven was super easy to find, secluded yet close enough to anything we needed. The other cabins are secluded and you feel as if you’re in the neighborhood of your dreams! Speaking of which, normally when you stay somewhere the “beds” are always a risk…risk well taken! We slept so well, we even asked Wes where he got the beds because we want them at our home! Overall, this was a wonderful quaint cabin in the woods, with everything you need for a quick get away or a long stay. Fire pit, clean hot tub, grill, comfy beds, WiFi, full kitchen with amenities, so clean and cozy! Can’t wait to return!!! If you’re looking for a great deal, you have to stay here! Thanks Wes!

Their home was beautiful and the perfect vacation for our family. It was very clean and everything was as listed online. Melanie was very friendly and super responsive. It's a great piece of property that we didn't want to leave.

We absolutely loved staying here! The cabin was so cozy and welcoming. It had everything we needed and more. The outdoor space is perfect! Waking up and enjoying our coffee under the new pergola was pure bliss! The birds singing created the most enchanting and relaxing atmosphere. It was the perfect way to start each day and truly unwind. Highly recommend taking advantage of this beautiful outdoor space! We couldn't have asked for a better place to call home during our trip. We would highly recommend this spot to anyone!

Me and my boyfriend stayed at this cabin for 2 nights, it was very peaceful and the host gave very clear instructions on exactly how to get there. Host was very accommodating and helpful. We loved this cabin it was a nice getaway from a busy city and we would definitely stay here again.

Our family had a great time. The home is delightful. We watched lots of wildlife visiting the property. The list includes deer, a ground hog, a very vocal couple of woodpeckers, squirrels, a raccoon and more birds than I can name. Drinking morning coffee on either the front porch or screened porch was a treat each day. The proximity to the lake is a huge plus. The house was clean, comfortable and cozy. We hope to return soon.

Wow! An amazing cabin in a beautiful setting. Rustic luxury. We can't wait to book a return visit. The cabin was beautifully decorated with a high attention to detail. The hosts were accommodating, and communicated clearly.

Billie was a great host! When we had trouble finding the place, she answered the phone immediately and guided us through. When I called her shortly after about the tricky AC, she offered to take time out of what she was doing to set it from her phone. Everything was clean, cozy, and the queen bed was so comfortable!

Super clean cabin. Host was very responsive. Wonderfully private and quiet setting. Kitchen was fully stocked with the cooking appliances we needed. We had our 16 month old grandson with us and really appreciated having a high chair, portacrib and baby gate on site so we didn’t have to haul those items. We wouldn’t hesitate to book this Airbnb again!

Andrea is personally invested in your satisfaction as a guest. She is responsive and friendly. She has organized this space with guests in mind: extra hooks, shelves, storage spots, little extras here and there, sensibly placed for easy access. You'll know what I mean when you visit. When you need a rest set in life. Brain has Peaceful set up. Large patio fire side pit with a view of nature, stars and music. Each bedroom was roomie and private. Pleanty of personal space. Hot Shower and washer/dry for those hiking socks. Hemlock Cliffs I enjoy cooking outdoor with a beverage. A separate Outside Cooking area off of a full kitchen with a bar set is perfect. It’s a black-stone on the patio. There were so many Games and shuffle board to play. Our Girls Weekend ReSet . Thanks for a Hair down Hike Up weekend ☀️🕶️✨💫🥾 I’ll return soon.

We loved this place. It had a lot of extras that many rental properties don’t have. It was easy for my blind mother to get around inside. Lovely open areas and appropriately decorated. Amazing!! Can’t wait to visit again!!

Dominique’s cabin is amazing! Peaceful surroundings. We booked for the Kentucky Derby and could not have been more happy with the place. Only wish I could have spent more time there. Will definitely try to make it back up in the winter to use the fireplace. She is the most gracious host I’ve ever had. Even had fresh flowers waiting on the table for us. Couldn’t have asked for a better host!

What a wonderful property! The historic house was beautiful. The house is spacious, clean and just great for all ages. The grounds are beautiful. Lots to do outside! Not one, but three play sets for the kids! Yard games for the adults. Lots of wood for a campfire! Tim & his wife are very friendly, kind caring folks! They have put a lot of thought into the amenities of this rental. We all had a great time & will definitely return!!
