Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Boothbay Harbor

Penny stayed up late until we got there to welcome us to Maine. She was always smiling! She takes care of her place and wants all feedback. I would diffently recommend her to everyone. Penny thanks for making our trip to Maine so great!

Tammy’s place was amazing! We couldn’t ask for a better place to spend time on our mid-coast Maine getaway. The house was easy to find, squeaky clean and super comfortable and cozy. It was minutes to Boothbay Harbor’s boat tours, shops and restaurants, Maine Botanical Gardens and their Giant Trolls, and other sites. Tammy was only a text or call away to answer questions or give suggestions. We loved every minute and would not hesitate to book with Tammy again.

We loved being on Arrowsic Island with the Kennebec in the back yard. And our local drives to find spots to hike and sketch were a real treat. Reid State Park is a jewel. Great kitchen for evening meals and breakfasts. Easy clean up after a stay of 5 days. Thanks John. R and B

We had a great stay at Chris’s house! It has all the modern conveniences but is warm and comfortable, and fits well in the neighborhood. The location right on the cove has great views from the living area and the bedroom. The house is very well appointed with comfortable furniture, a well-stocked kitchen and a great king bed. Heating system worked well and water pressure was good. Filtered water from the refrigerator was a plus. Washer/dryer came in handy, and parking was easy. Boothbay Harbor is quiet in the off-season but it was great to not have crowds and traffic. It’s an easy walk to downtown and some restaurants and shops were open. We had breakfast at Woodsong Market (great coffee too!) and dinners at the Boathouse and Brady’s - both were very good. The house was also a good home base to visit other towns - Southport, Bath, Brunswick, Rockland and Belfast. Thanks again Chris for sharing your terrific home!

We loved our time staying here, the house was beautiful and just as described/ seen in the pictures. Randy was a great host and always very responsive with some great local recommendations. Would definitely love to return!

My family and I spent a gorgeous Thanksgiving holiday at this home. The kitchen was extremely well-equipped, and the house was beautiful, spotless, well-maintained, and felt very homey. We also appreciated the clear instructions for using all the household amenities and systems. Wonderful views from the living room, and such a stunning drive into the area where this home is located. We plan on booking again!

This is a great spot to stay while in Damariscotta - cute, peaceful and comfy, looks just like the photos. It's in a great location, right in town, and near multiple sights and activities, including 4 lighthouses in the mid-coast area - Pemaquid, Marshall Point, Owls Head, and Rockland Breakwater. You can grab the boat to Monhegan in Port Clyde or head up to the Farnsworth in Rockland and tons of other things - it's a fun area and this is a spot that can work nicely as a home base. I didn't see Valerie, but all of our interactions were very pleasant and she's very responsive.

This place was comfortable, well-provisioned, and very well located. Pam was very responsive as well. Good stay!

Wendy’s place was really nice and the hot tub is very private.. we definitely got our usage out of it… Wendy herself was extremely kind and open minded. She didn’t rush us out come check out, instead, she encouraged us to stay a little longer and enjoy the hot tub before our long journey back home.. she gave us good tips about golden gems only locals know about 🥰 She did have a cool book to share reviews but I didn’t have a pen.. also we left grape soda in the fridge from Canada for the next person to try!! My dog and I had a great time here and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area. We found lots of dog-friendly hikes and nature reserves nearby within 15-30 minutes . Otherwise we enjoyed the peaceful yard and small brook on the property. Beautiful and thoughtful rental, with very friendly hosts.

Perfect stay in Camden. Jason was a terrific host. The apartment was exactly as described and beautifully located. Quiet, convenient, walkable to downtown. Jason was friendly, responsive, and helpful. Great host; great place.

We loved this charming apartment! The place had so much character and you can tell the host put a lot of work into this place. It was clean and quiet and we loved walking to Willard Beach every night to watch the sunset and the dogs run around and play. Overall, we had a great time here!

This beautiful home was a great place to spend a long weekend relaxing and exploring Portland. We really enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit, and the well-outfitted kitchen. Nicholas and Emily are extremely kind and friendly, and we were happy to have the chance to chat with them a bit. Beautiful neighborhood and an easy drive to Portland’s main attractions.

Very comfortable cottage, with great space in each room: spacious bedroom; roomy living room; roomy kitchen and eating area; and roomy bathroom. Most wonderful aspects: comfortable bed and extra sleeping cot that was actually comfortable (cot that doesn't squeak !! what a concept). Quiet neighborhood... all allows for a good sleep. Kitchen pack with all the essentials and a bit more. Water pressure made for a great shower. Heater works well and quickly; what was nice was that heater didn't get too hot, so the room temp was always comfortable. One thing to note was that it is an older-style kitchen stove ... so that you have to turn the gas on to ignite the pilot lite. But totally simple 3 second task.

Wonderful stay delightful Victorian home with great water views on the porch. We had a great breakfast with, farm garden fresh produce, homemade breads. Perfect location for visiting Camden and hiking the State Park. Would highly recommend.

We had an amazing girls weekend getaway at Caroline’s place. Caroline is the most kind and sweet host. Absolutely loved our peaceful weekend. The property is beautiful and has beautiful views of the ocean. We also loved the breakfast!

We loved our stay at The Victorian By The Sea!! The inn and grounds are beautiful, the atmosphere is wonderfully relaxing and calming, breakfasts are scrumptious, the location is convenient to hiking in Camden Hills State Park and sightseeing and shopping in the lovely town of Camden, and the host, Caroline, is absolutely delightful, accommodating in making her guests comfortable, resourceful with touring tips, and an amazing cook and baker!

Matt’s place was welcoming comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen. Matt was always responsive within a few minutes. Matt’s place was conveniently located to Portland with restaurants and shops. Spent A day at Cape Elizabeth, Peaks island and dinner in Naple….. previous visit was to Boothbay Botanical garden Really a great state to visit!!!
