Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Bologna

We had such a great stay at Paola's apartment. It's beautiful and in a great location in the old town. Everywhere is super walkable and the apartment itself is gorgeous. Paola was super responsive and really helpful. She allowed us to check in after midnight and also booked us a taxi for our early flight home! Would highly recommend 😍

Fantastisk vistelse !!! Vi var 3 personer som bodde här i 5 nätter. Ligger bara 30 min utanför Bologna uppe i bergen med en makalös utsikt. Vi fick varsitt sovrum som alla var svala trots värmen ute. Lyxigt med 2 badrum med både dusch och toa när man är flera. Finns allt man behöver och till och med en tvättmaskin om man är där länge och behöver tvätta. Varje morgon stod det nybakade godsaker utanför dörren till oss som herren som har huset hade ordnat. Otroligt lugnt och fridfullt och det ända man hör under hela dagen är de olika fåglarnas kvittrande. Hit åker vi gärna igen❤️

Soggiorno meraviglioso! La host, Elisa è stata fantastica…. Ci ha spiegato e mandato tutto per tempo in modo da arrivare tranquilli, la casa è stata un sogno e ci ha pure fatto trovare una piccola colazione. La casa splendida, meglio anche che nelle foto. Tutto in ordine e pulitissimo. Inoltre, un plus della casa è stata la cucina super fornita. Zona molto tranquilla e silenziosa. Inoltre, è molto comoda per raggiungere il centro, con supermercati e bar vicini. Un soggiorno da rifare assolutamente

We kwamen terecht in een oase van rust. Een bewuste keuze die we maakten. Klein maar fijn, voorzien van alle basis voorzieningen. Als uitvalbasis voor bezoeken aan Firenze (vanuit het dorp met de trein) en Bologna was dit perfect. De prachtige zonsondergangen blijven voor altijd op ons netvlies gebrand.

This place was PERFECT! Right in the heart of Bologna. Everything was walkable and there are so many things nearby. Even a great coffee shop right below the apartment. Fiorella’s recommendations were amazing! The restaurants she recommended could not have been better! We enjoyed her place so much and was great to have a place to relax. Would highly recommmend staying here. Also, checking in and out was super flexible. Fiorella was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had!

Highly recommend Bazzano and Franco’s house as home base for visiting Bologna, Modena and environs. Unique beautifully maintained historic home with lovely outdoor space. Comfortable bed and a/c was appreciated on warm June night.

ci siamo trovati molto bene, la casa è graziosa, pulita e ha tutto quel che serve. Il giardino è carinissimo e ben arredato con comode poltrone da esterni, tavolino, un grande ombrellone e l’amaca. Ci è dispiaciuto un po’ non sfruttarlo perché siamo stati praticamente sempre in giro. Parcheggio privato all’ombra, cancello automatico e quartiere elegante. Wi fi perfetto, la doccia ha un bel getto potente e uno scarico ben funzionante (non è per niente scontato nella mia esperienza). Casa molto funzionale e arredata con buon gusto. La proprietaria è stata molto gentile a venirci incontro col check leggermente in anticipo. C’erano le cialde per la macchinetta del caffè e bagnoschiuma e shampoo nella doccia. Zanzariere alle finestre della camera e aria condizionata in soggiorno che ha tolto umidità in tutto l’appartamento. A 5 minuti a piedi ci sono frequenti bus per il centro, poco oltre un ottimo bar pasticceria per la colazione e altri negozi. Promosso a pieni voti

Een fantastisch verblijf met adembenemende uitzichten welke nooit zullen vervelen. Vanaf deze locatie heb je de mogelijkheid om vele bezienswaardigheden te bezoeken (Bologna, Modena, proeverijen, hikes etc), om vervolgens weer echt ‘thuis’ te komen. Bedankt voor het delen van deze magische plek en de enorme gastvrijheid Paul en Ruth.

Gemütliche, geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung . Sehr zentral gelegen. Ideal um Bologna zu Fuss zu erkunden.

Wir hatten das beste Wochenende in Bologna! Wir waren 3 Freundinnen und die Lage der Wohnung war perfekt für unsere Pläne. Im Zentrum der Stadt und man kann überall hin zu Fuß gehen. Super schöne Einrichtung und sehr sauber. Wenn man in der Früh die großen Fenster öffnet fühlt man den Puls der Stadt. Auch der Check-In und die Kommunikation mit Stefania war sehr schnell und unkompliziert. Falls nochmal Bologna auf jeden Fall wieder in der gleichen Wohnung.

This is a great apartment for a couple, with a lovely view from the balcony! It’s walkable to the very centre of Bologna and I would recommend it.

Ci siamo trovati benissimo, l’appartamento è in pieno centro, facilmente raggiungibile dalla stazione e in una posizione ottima per spostarsi a piedi. Ivana è sempre veloce e cordiale nelle indicazioni.

This location is ideal because it is just steps away from shopping and restaurants, but once you enter the building it all falls away and you have privacy and air conditioned peace. It’s is just over a mile walk to the train station where we took day trips to Venice and Florence.

I absolutely loved this apartment! I stayed for a week while working remotely and exploring the city, and it couldn’t have been a better base. The internet was super fast and completely reliable, perfect for digital nomads like me. The natural light and large windows made the space feel bright and welcoming throughout the day. The apartment is spacious, spotless, and very well-equipped. The bathroom and kitchen were especially comfortable and convenient. I was visiting during a very hot summer, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The location is fantastic, just steps away from all the main tourist spots. The neighborhood is charming and walkable, and I loved strolling under the beautiful Bologna porticos. Federico was beyond kind and thoughtful. He also shared a list of local food recommendations, and every single place I tried was a 10/10. You can tell he really cares about helping his guests have the best experience in Bologna. Andrea’s apartment is wonderful and perfect for a few days in Modena. Close to everything, from Piazza Maggiore to Piazza Sto Stefano or the train station and also with very nice places nearby. The flat was clean, bright, spacious and the internet was excellent. A+

Dejvi è stato molto gentile, accogliente e flessibile. L’appartamento rispecchia perfettamente la descrizione: dotato di tutti i servizi, rifornito generosamente di tutto il necessario (anche per la colazione), e in una posizione estremamente centrale e comoda.

Great living space - the flat has been properly thought about, with real furniture, design touches, lots of natural light, practical layout, air-con, and that sunshine escape onto the balcony - we could truly imagine living here (if only !!). It had everything we needed and more. All in a quiet neighbourhood, too, with good restaurants and only a short walk into the main central piazza. And Carlo is everything you want from a host. Always prompt and helpful responses as we planned our visit, met us at the door with a friendly welcome, and helped us out locally too. If and when we come back to Bologna (a lovely city, we’ve really enjoyed it) this flat will definitely be first thing on our list.

I had all of the amenities I needed for my stay at Marina's apartment and could not fault anything at all. I had asked for some restaurant recommendations and Marina was responsive and helpful in providing these. In addition, she recommended some places to visit whilst in Bologna. All very useful. Nothing was too much bother for Marina. She greeted me on arrival and came across as friendly and we run through any questions I had. The apartment was clean and is centrally located in Bologna. I could not have wished for me.

The process for getting in are a bit involved, but if you follow instructions step by step it’s actually quite simple. Beautiful part of the city, in walking distance to the main station and inner city/old town. Enjoyed the stay.

Sehr schön und hochwertig renovierte Wohnung zum Wohlfühlen. Man merkt, dass Barbara viel Leidenschaft und Geschmack in die Unterkunft investiert hat. Detailverliebt und gleichzeitig funktional. Gute Klimaanlage und schallisolierte Fenster. Hübscher Balkon ein weiterer Pluspunkt. Gute Ausstattung auch mit Seife & Shampoo sowie gute Basisprodukte zum Kochen ( Salz- und Pfeffermühle, gutes Olivenöl) mit allen notwendigen Utensilien. Die Kommunikation mit Barbara war proaktiv, hilfreich, und sie hat auf jegliche Fragen schnell und detailliert geantwortet. Ich hatte das Vergnügen, sie persönlich kennenzulernen. Barbara ist sehr sympathisch, lustig und eine sehr gute Gastgeberin. Wenn ich in die schöne Stadt Bologna zurückkehre, würde ich auf jedenFall wieder diese Unterkunft wählen! Vielen Dank für dieses kleine Paradies in einer fantastischen Stadt!

Ho avuto il piacere di soggiornare in questo incantevole monolocale a Budio e non posso che consigliarlo vivamente. L’appartamento è bellissimo, curato nei minimi dettagli e arredato con gusto. Si respira subito un’atmosfera accogliente e rilassante, perfetta per chi cerca tranquillità e comfort.

Все отлично! 15 минут до центра пешком, рядом магазины и кафе. Нет стиральной машины, было бы большим плюсом. Квартира чистая, уютная, спасибо хозяйке👍

Wir haben zu dritt drei Nächte in der wunderschönen Wohnung von Silvia verbracht und können es nur empfehlen. Die Lage ist top - ruhig und dennoch zentral, mit dem Bus gut vom Bahnhof aus zu erreichen - und die Wohnung ist wunderschön, gemütlich, ruhig, hell, großzügig und ein toller Rückzugsort auch für eine Siesta bei heißem Wetter. Bett und Schlafsofa sind beide sehr bequem. Sehr praktisch sind auch die Waschmaschine und die Klimaanlage! Silvia hat uns ein paar tolle Tipps für Restaurants in der Umgebung gegeben und die Kommunikation war super freundlich und einwandfrei. Insgesamt ist diese Unterkunft die perfekte Basis für die Erkundung von Bologna. Vielen Dank, Silvia!
