Awesome getaway in the middle of a dry forest including many birds, frogs, monkeys and so on. Great, well maintained pool. Many tropical fruits at trees nearby and our host put some of them for free at our table. AC works well, but at least 1-3 shorter power failures a day (in the grid, so the host is not to blame) which can be partly compensated by the generator which provides AC in such cases. The kitchen is "open air" which is a cool feature - you just need to understand that in the middle of nature are also insects but they bothered us not very much. Great support by our host - he even took us on a private walk through the jungle / forrest and supported us with buying food during the Covid-19 lockdown.

We leave our experience around here in this magical place, being there is like being in the paradise, all quiet, your friendly people, Mr. Wilson and wife very helpful and always willing to help in everything you need, the cabins are nice, air-conditioned for a better rest, all clean and equipped for daily use, a few meters away a tent where you can buy what you need, attended by very friendly and friendly people, you can reach the village by walking all the beach shore, like in 30 min (for those who like to walk) in our case it was a wonderful experience. We had even guardians, the best dogs, comrades of every day, who took care of us and accompanied us from day one, grateful in exchange for some food. There are people in charge of making home purchases, it is just a matter of asking Mr. Wilson for information and he will gladly give you the solution to each request. We would definitely go back, super recommended.

The place is as it records in the publication, a quiet, safe area, the location that records in the publication is not very accurate but the manager did not hesitate to pick us up and guide us. The place is comfortable and has everything for a cozy stay.

It's a paradise! We loved the place, the house and the beach. The perfect place to get away from it all and relax for a few days. We travel with a baby and I enjoy it a lot. Manuel's service is a 10. We highly recommend hiring the meal service. The best we ate during our entire stay in Colombia. If you visit Casa Gaviota, get ready to not be massacred by mosquitoes 🙃
