My husband and I come to the mountains often and stay different places. The Glass Tree House was definitely a favorite of ours by far!! It had so many unique amenities from the waterfall right outside to many different coffee brewing options, a well stocked kitchen and the unique fireplace with plenty of dry wood to enjoy in the evenings. We also enjoyed the hot tub right beside the waterfall, very unique to this home. It was also nice that you could hear the waterfall even when inside and the windows were closed. Whether you were inside or outside you could enjoy the beauty of the outdoors from any room. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, peaceful, romantic and relaxing get away, this is definitely it! Thank you Ashley and Andy for making our stay so memorable. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely amazing house in a great location. Clearly a lot of care, attention and thought has gone into the home and it is just perfect. The house is beautifully decorated throughout, the beds are really comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, and the bath is just the icing on the cake. The views from the accomodation are stunning. We watched deer feom the bedroom window one morning. We wish we could have stayed longer and would definitely return some day if we are back in the area. Anthony was really easy to communicate with, very responsive, and really helpful in giving us suggestions for things to do and places to eat. Can't rate this place highly enough.

Perfect for our family getaway. The home was both immaculate and cozy. The detail of hospitality was noteworthy from stocked Kcups and Q-tips to nice furniture and super comfortable beds. It felt like home. The lake and community boats kept us entertained. The outdoor fireplace on the back deck along with the s’mores kit and stocked firewood made each evening so peaceful. So happy we found this property and this host.

Beautiful location. Love the deck and fire pit. The house is very cozy and charming, very clean with a good size bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and you are provided with plenty of towels. About 8 mins to downtown Blowing Rock, which we loved.

We had a fantastic time! Cannot believe the house was in such good condition for being built in 1950! Great care has been taken. It was very clean. The bed was so comfortable. Everything was there that you could possibly need in the kitchen and more.! Location is perfect. Just from downtown blowing rock. Host was extremely flexible and communication was always immediate. The view was absolutely breathtaking. The pictures do not do it justice. It was unbelievable and just but we needed. All I could think of the Psalm 121 as I sat on the porch each day. Just the reset we needed. We also ended up taking a walk on the main road. We went a couple of miles and you could see the ridge line in the entire way. Great place for a winter hike since you don’t have to worry about ice or twisting your ankle, etc. can’t wait to go back.
