Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Blanco County

Perfect spot to hang around and walk to town, restaurants, and live music or to chill by the river. It’s a straight shot to San Antonio and many other local tourist towns, which made it a great location as well. We had a great time and would love to come back!

This was a great place to stay! I was in town for a wedding just 10 minutes away, and the location was perfect—about 15 minutes from HEB and Wimberley’s town square, where I got to shop and explore a bit. A few cows and goats wandered by in the morning, which made for a fun and peaceful view. It does get pretty dark at night, but if the sky’s clear, the stargazing is amazing. Overall, a wonderful stay—I’d absolutely come back!

Arielle was very courteous, responsive, and communicated promptly. The space was very peaceful and was as described. I look forward to returning in the future.

This might be the cutest house ever, lots of room yet everyone had their privacy too. Back porch and yard were perfect for the evenings and the dogs had some space. Definitely will recommend to family and friends when they visit

My friends and I went up to this Airbnb as a fun 2 night trip for the summer. It’s private peaceful, and super cute and cozy inside!

Perfect location in Johnson city and only about 20 min to wineries in Fredericksburg. Clean house and pool and great communication throughout our stay if we had any questions arise. Definitely would stay again!

Melanie's ranch home is a nice accommodation for the price. It is private and peaceful on a large acreage property. It is convenient to local wineries and equally distanced between Johnson City and Fredericksburg. The kitchen is well stocked and easy for entertaining. We had one issue with the ranch dogs barking late at night, but Melanie took care of it immediately. For guests with mobility issues, just know that the only access to the upstairs bedrooms (one which is a loft with no privacy) is a narrow, spiral staircase. I would recommend this for a quick getaway for a girl's weekend. We had a blast!

I have high rating because although I had trouble finding and getting in, maybe others wouldn't so much. I think extra instructions on how to find the unit now quickly could help. I really wanted to Take a bath and most maybe wouldn't notice, everything looked clean... She offered so kindly to have to cleaned for me. she was very flexible and kind about letting me check out later. The place realy is nice and neat. feels a bit sterile in a way. rugs would definitely be good. overall a nice place to stay. lots of nice Kcups and complimentary things. if I had stayed longer, they had really nice and fun amenities. lots of treats and snacks in the cowork area. realy overall a pretty neat place. spetve out in the open., newer not really any shade trees.

Very Blessed to have a place to lay my head. Hosts are receptive and respect privacy. NO WiFI / NOR CABLE. I put it in caps due to the fact that I missed it in the trip details ( it does state). I needed WIFI for business, otherwise great if someone was on VACA. I was however not on VACA. Host was accommodating and offered their back patio to use WIFI and approved a gracious late check out She also provided coupons to fairview coffeeshop ( I forgot;((). Oh well next guest can enjoy..

It was a great location and very quiet. Perfect for a weekend getaway and close enough to things but also out of the city. The large shower was amazing and Kelly was such a sweet and kind host. I definitely recommend!

We loved our weekend in Wimberley! Belinda and Steve are amazing hosts. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast each morning was delicious. Highly recommend.

We stayed at Lindsay’s place while we explored the surrounding area. It was in a perfect and centrally located to all we wanted to do in Austin and Pedernales State park. The space was small and simple (no WiFi or kitchen) but that’s exactly what we’re hoping for on our mini vacay!! Lindsay was so easy to communicate with and was a wonderful host. We would definitely stay here again!

Tia was a great host. She is very friendly and responsive. The place was extremely clean with luxurious towels. It was nice to have a little later checkout, at noon, than most places. Also check-in was a little earlier than most places, at 2 PM. The area was very peaceful at night. She even left chocolates and microwave popcorn for me!

Jim was a very nice and kind host. We were surprised with a great view in the morning as there were so many deer in the back yard. The place is not far from downtown Wimberly and super close to Jacob well and the old baldy.

Jim was super accommodating and flexible to our check in needs and provided helpful tips for getting around during the busy Market Days in Wimberley!

Thanks Susan for normal soaps and conditioner, water jugs, corn for feeding deer, kitchen supplies and the cool A/C with ceiling fans.
