We loved our weekend stay at The Container Retreat! We had 3 adults and 2 dogs and it was just enough room. Great location to many different wineries and quick drive to Fredericksburg. Would definitely stay here again!

What can I say… this home was exactly what we needed to relax after a fast-paced weekend. It’s super cozy and located in a quiet neighborhood. From the moment you walk in, you can tell how spotlessly clean it is. The house has everything you need the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen is equipped with just what you need to start the day with a nice cup of coffee. One of the things I appreciated the most was how they’ve prepared everything so you can really enjoy your mornings. The backyard is also a nice touch, perfect for spending time in the evening and watching the sunset. The hosts were very responsive and attentive with any questions. Without a doubt, if I come back to the area, I would absolutely stay here again!

Came to Dripping Springs for a wedding with multiple families, adults & kids. Everyone loved the space. It is so peaceful & relaxing. Very welcoming and comfortable. Everything we needed was there and everyone gave this home rave reviews. Thank you to Sandi for accommodating us, we would absolutely love to return.

Perfect location in Johnson city and only about 20 min to wineries in Fredericksburg. Clean house and pool and great communication throughout our stay if we had any questions arise. Definitely would stay again!

We booked this place for the privacy and the unique bathrooms and were not disappointed! This place is super secluded with a private pool and spa that overlooks the dry blanco river bed. We hiked thru the ravine and saw deer, lizards and just about every species of migratory bird in the area. The painted buntings were literally singing to us from the trees above the pool, so that alone made the trip for us! We book for nature and privacy and this spot checked all our boxes and then some. Thanks, Grant for being a fantastic host!

Great place to relax and unwind away from the noise of the city. The view was gorgeous and hosts were very responsive. Really enjoyed visiting the Twin Sisters dance hall for some good music and fun. Will definitely be back!

We had a great stay here! There are definitely things to consider, it’s definitely a tent and bugs can get in if you don’t zip up or close the windows, and if it’s very windy you can hear the tent moving, they do provide ear plugs on the desk if needed! So it’s an amazing stay but definitely consider that it’s out in the woods and it gets a bit hot during the day when it’s summer, when the weather is great out I’m sure it would be perfect.

We genuinely enjoyed staying at the property and our family was very pleased as well. We enjoyed the consistent cool breeze in early May, the vineyard views, and the peaceful energy of the place.

Aubrey is super responsive and attentive to concerns I had. I was really happy to have stayed here and get away from busy life!

This was such a cute and cozy spot for us to disconnect from the city. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the sunrise every day. It is in a charming neighborhood with kind neighbors too. The space was small but it was enough for us to be able to cook and enjoy some much needed time together. Waking up to the sounds of nature everyday was priceless. We would definitely come back again!

Red Sky Ranch was an absolute dream! We stayed as a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 kids under 5. We also got to bring along our dog as the place is pet friendly and she loved roaming around the property and exploring with us. The house is gorgeous, the property is peaceful and private, and everything was in tip top shape. Jeff was readily available for any questions and provided us with some wonderful restaurant and activity recommendations. If you’re looking for a relaxing stay, look no further!

Carol went above and beyond to make our stay as good as it could be. We arrived to a fully stocked kitchen, loads of yummy snacks and everything we could possibly need. I told Carol when we met her that I’d challenged myself to find something that wasn’t already in the tiny house, I failed! The tiny house itself is awesome, it has loads of storage, full size shower, comfy bed and has high ceilings / is light and airy. It has a beautiful private porch right next to the stables which was fantastic during the cool evenings. Carol was the nicest person you could hope to meet. We had long chats exchanging stories and above all else Carol arranged for us to spend some time with her and her horse trainer to learn how it’s done in Texas and later Carol gave us a beginners lesson to riding which was one of the highlights of our trip to the US. Thank you Carol, Bugs and Jax!

If we could give 6/5 stars we would!! One of the cleanest Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. Beautiful and peaceful environment. Comfy bed, felt right at home. Would 1000% stay again!

Staying in this converted school bus was such a unique and memorable experience! The setting is absolutely gorgeous, and the vibe is fun, quirky, and full of heart. The passionate hosts have filled the space with creative touches—games, scavenger hunts, and surprises that make exploring the land a joy. It’s a little rustic but still super cozy and comfortable. The animals (goats! chickens! bunnies!) add so much charm, and you really do leave with a new perspective on nature and simple living. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unplug and experience something truly special!

This stay was unforgettable. It gives you a resort feel while being in nature. The amenities are amazing & you can tell they paid close attention to every detail. From comfort of the bedding, the robes, the beautiful cast iron cookware, & even down to the glassware. Yes - sometimes bugs will get in the tent but that didn’t surprise me, afterall you are still camping. We never left the property & took advantage of the beautiful views & trails. We bought groceries, hung out in their general store & played games! The front desk was also so helpful & kind. We missed one of their trails because it was said to be muddy & overgrown from the all the rain they’ve been getting, but we did the river trail. Warning: it is on a steep incline to the trail & then another steep incline straight to the river. There’s a rope to help, but wear proper hiking shoes, pack light & go slow. Ultimately, you’ll just want to soak up every bit of this property & never leave. All in all, can’t wait to be back!
