Cabin holiday rentals in Blackwater Falls

The cabin is beautifully decorated and perfect for a cozy, relaxing getaway. We enjoyed the game room and the hot tub, and all the check-in and check-out instructions were easy to follow. The bed was very comfortable, and I appreciated the fan for white noise. We’d love to return one day!

Really nice place to stay in Thomas / Davis WVA. Clean and well stocked cabin. Comfortable and centrally located for all the outdoor activities. This cabin would be easy to access in the snow. It’s basically right off the main road and flat.

Anthony was an amazing host and was so helpful in the communication process and booking and assisting us with all of our questions. This air b and b is absolutely beautiful and so much thought and intention put into the design and the surroundings in the woods added to the aura. The hot tub, sauna, and all the wonderful amenities made this getaway a dream. Such a comfortable bed and we had everything we needed. Thank you so much for hosting us we made many unforgettable memories at your gorgeous chalet!!

Merry Jo's place was a beautiful, clean and comfortable mountain home with stunning views. It is extremely private and peaceful (I think we saw one vehicle during our stay), and a great place to relax, meditate, and refresh. True escape! We saw deer daily and enjoyed the hiking nearby. It is close to restaurants (Davis, WVa) but the kitchen was well-stocked and we did cook out a few times. Merry Jo is a wonderful host, and she is quick to answer all of our questions, etc. We highly recommend and hope to visit again in the near future.

Loved staying at Lazy Bear Lodge. Beautiful home with privacy on big property. Hosts were super responsive and gave great local recommendations. Very accessible to hiking and white water rafting.

Our travel plans to Davis included lots of outdoor activities, but a torrential rainstorm had other ideas. We were hold up in Dasha’s lovely cabin for 3 days - all the amenities and thoughtful touches made us feel welcome and cozy while we waited out the storms. You can't go wrong booking this cabin. Great location, everything you could need or want, and Dasha is an amazing (and very thoughtful) communicator. When we go back, we’ll definitely book this cabin again.

Jeremy’s cabin was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed. I loved the location as well. I stayed in this community several times before so I knew what to expect and it was just as wonderful as I remembered. The deck and hot tub were my favorite, especially after a day outside hiking. I traveled solo and this was the peace and quiet I needed — a great getaway from my stressful job in Baltimore.

Darien’s place was perfect!! It was perfectly clean and beautiful. The house was very private and a beautiful place to stay. The host was very friendly and helpful for anything we needed. The stay was amazing!!

I really do try to seek out unique hidden gems when I use AirBnB. Darlene's cabin is for sure on that list now! I was scrambling to find a place to stay to hike the Dolly Sods and surrounding area with my sons last weekend. I stumbled across this place, and it was PERFECT! Not just a great location for all the things you can do in the area, but also a great place to return to at the end of the day. The place was clean and comfortable, with a kitchen well equipped, so we had no need to eat out during our stay. The riverfront tiki bar was also a major highlight to my kids. Was a great evening activity to grab an adult beverage to enjoy classic video games, mini golf, cornhole, darts, etc etc..Darlene was a great host with and quick to respond to any questions I had... I would absolutely stay here again when planning a trip back to the area!

The place is really comfortable and beautiful. The house is out well and has multiple lovely porches and a great patio with fire pit to hang out on. We spent mornings on the back porch and evenings (and much of the days) on the patio. The trails were fun and a great feature. It felt very private and peaceful. We plan to book again!

Abrams Creek is a great place for a quiet, private, beautiful rustic cabin camping experience. The grounds were fantastic, from the moment you pass the check-in you are immediately in the woods. At the cabin itself you feel like you are alone in the woods next to a peaceful stream. The cabin was comfortable and plenty warm with the propane heating, and having a dedicated port-a-potty right next to our site made bio-breaks much more convenient than if you had to walk to a central bathhouse. Highly recommend Abrams Creek!

The views from this house are breathtaking- it was sunny and rainy and so peaceful. I would definitely recommend booking.

Dana's cabin was wonderful. It was clean and fully stocked. The location is so relaxing and quiet that it is somewhat unbelievable. There are several beautiful hikes in close proximity including Chimney Rock and Seneca Rocks. The views are amazing. Please do not hesitate to stay at this cabin. Just sit on the front porch and lose yourself.

Staying at Megan and Abby’s cabin was such an amazing experience. The place was impeccably clean and looked exactly as the pictures described it. Megan responded quickly and kindly when I asked about a door that needed to be unlocked. The Bear Lair Cabin stay will live my best memories.

It was hard to leave. It was very comfortable and just pleasant to hang out. We were very happy!

This was a wonderful little cabin in the woods. Definitely need a 4WD/AWD car for the snowy months. Overall wonderful experience with our dogs!

We loved staying at this cabin! The hosts were super responsive and super friendly. The property is beautiful and we enjoyed walking around in the snow. The cabin was super cozy and clean, we loved the wall decorations and art. The kitchen was great and had nearly everything we needed. There is no regular oven but the large toaster oven worked perfectly for a small tart. Would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Trails at Files Creek! It was our first time staying in a tiny cabin and I was pleasantly surprised. It had everything we needed and the amenities were great. It was cozy and we all felt right at home, even our pup! We appreciated the peace and quiet that came with the location, as well as hiking the trails. It was a great weekend away!
