The house is particularly suitable for relaxing in the countryside, as a starting point for hikes or cultural and swimming holidays in Ticino. At the lake there are countless swimming spots. In Rovio, there is a waterfall with a swimming pool.

Small house with lake view. pool + garden + sun

The small house is situated slightly outside and up from the village. It has a wonderful view over the lake and mountains and catches the evening sun until late. The house is very very simple and very basic but has been refurnished with a small pool, private garden and BBQ. It has two parking spaces. A local 24 hour supermarket is 3 minutes’ walk, and there is easy walking access by bus and train to Lugano, Milan and Como. There is easy access to the local lake ferry boat service too.

I really enjoyed the peaceful stay with Karin. The apartment sits in a quiet residential area with only a small access road immediately outside for local residents. The main road up the mountain is a few streets away and inaudible. The apartment itself is smart, tidy, without clutter and felt spacious for the size. Two sizeable windows can be completely pulled opened which really gives the impression of being connected to the wonderfully green mountainous surroundings. The view from the windows is exactly the one shown in the advertisement and felt glorious as the sun shines through the windows throughout the day. I appreciated the shower - a very variable experience I find in rbnbs. The water pressure is perfect and the shower is spacious. Karin was very friendly, responsive and provided helpful advice for getting around the local area. The village of Arogno is charming and 10 minutes walk. I can definitely recommend staying at the apartment and look forward already to my next trip.

The location of the hotel and pool is unbeatable. The hotel would need a lighter renovation - so 20 years after its glory. But it was a nice place, and we had a great rest there. Great for families. The area is completely enclosed and Lake Como - 30 minutes by car. Coop store - 2 minutes by car !

Fabio and Inna are fabulous hosts. Very welcoming and helpful! The apartment is located in a very calm and peaceful area. With two boys between 10 and 14 years old, we really enjoyed the pool and sauna. Thanks to both of you for our amazing stay!
