Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Big Bear Lake

We loved our stay at Marilyn’s home. It was clean and well stocked. Marilyn was quick to respond with any questions. My favorite thing about Marilyn’s home was the bright kitchen and large outdoor space. We enjoyed the BBQ, hot tub, and seating area around the gas fireplace on chilly mornings and evenings. My grandchildren were thrilled with all the games. They played board games, ping pong, foosball, and cornhole. My giant schnauzer was happy running and playing in the nice enclosed yard. It was a wonderful family getaway and for our next trip to Big Bear we would love to stay here again.

Had a great weekend with the family at this cabin. Quick jaunt to a marina and rented a boat for an afternoon lunch on the lake. Place was fun during downtime, be it playing pool or the X-men arcade machine. Just a beautiful home and environment all around.

This is the third time we have stayed at Claudia's cabin in Fawnskin. As always, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is fully equipped and comfortable. The backyard is large and perfect for our dog to play in without concern for damage. The primary bedroom has the best views! What a treat, as always.

We come to Big Bear every year and this was my favorite place we've stayed so far. Great location, near the Zoo and Dank Donuts. Trash drop off was only 2 min away. We enjoyed the back yard the most as it was fully fenced for the dogs and the kids loved the hot tub and fire pit for smores! Plenty of space and kitchen had everything we needed. Amazing shower as well! Lastly, Ryan was extremely responsive for any questions we did have and called me within minutes of messaging him. Just amazing!

Really lovely place to stay - we will definitely keep Stephanie's home in mind for future visits. The games and books available for kids spanned a good age range; our 7-year-old loved the bunk beds. We didn't need it, but we noticed a pack & play in the closet for little ones, and thoughtful childproofing like a gate to put in front of the wood stove if you use it. The kitchen was well-equipped with serviceable appliances, and we also used the grill. The beds were all very comfortable. Stephanie was very responsive to any questions we had, and there were helpful instructions posted around the house. We (family of 3) were there for a weekend visit with my parents, and there was enough space for the five of us to not feel like we were all on top of each other. And, despite being in a neighborhood that is more closely-spaced, it was very quiet!

If you are looking for a secluded cabin to enjoy a peaceful getaway, this is it! Your backyard are the enchanting woods, where we hiked with ease. We were able to capture breathtaking photos of the lake and snowy mountains on our hike. Picturesque views from the front deck, where we got to experience rain and snow fall which was fascinating. Sitting on the front deck with a cup of coffee, hearing the birds singing was serene. We felt right at home from the moment we walked in until we left, it truly was hard to say goodbye. The home had all the basic necessities you need and more. Me and my family had no complaints, other than having to take our own trash with us, but that alone will NOT stop us from coming back. We are homebodies, so we enjoyed the quietness of the neighborhood. We for sure know where to call home when we come back. Tessa is a superhost for sure. This was our 1st time using airnbn so overall it was an excellent choice definitely a place we'd come back to fur sure. Next to coffee shops and nice pathways to walk your dogs! We loved everything from start to finish. Easy check in, all was just as stated in ad, warm fireplace nice big jacuzzi tub bed fur 2 lol we brought our 2 lil pups also. We cooked and baked cookies watched netflix relaxed what a lovely little getaway thank you thank you!

Madeline's abode has the feeling of bygone years of a "romp to the lake" and easy living. She is so responsive to questions and need for directions. We enjoyed our stay. We would probably enjoy it in other seasons also besides the day of new snow and terrible fires elsewhere. We would recommend her establishment!

Had a wonderful time at Leanne’s place this past Memorial Day weekend. Just as described, clean and very nice making sure we were enjoying our trip.

We appreciated that it was a place that allowed pets & did not smell like pets! Location was great & clean.

The stay was absolutely amazing! Adam is a fantastic host—super responsive and welcoming. There’s truly no better place to stay if you're doing the Spartan Race. The unit is even closer to the start line than the official entrance—it's like being right at the starting point! The house itself is clean, bright, and beautifully decorated with cozy touches that make it feel like home. The sauna and spa are incredible bonuses, especially after a long day of racing. I’ll definitely be coming back for the next Spartan. Highly recommend this unit!

This was the perfect place to stay for a quick getaway to the snow. You can’t beat the location. Literally less than a two minute walk into Snow Summit park. Ivan and April were great hosts, very helpful & very communicative. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area. Especially if you are planning to ski or snowboard.

Prime location for anyone competing in the Big Bear Spartan. It was peaceful leading up to the weekend, allowing restful sleep and relaxation. I was able to register for the race early in the morning and head back to the house to prepare and stretch comfortably before the race. It was nice coming right back to the house to unwind and recover, especially with the convenience of the hot tub! Totally played a part in minimizing soreness. Centrally located to shops, restaurants, grocery stores, and hiking trails. The scenery was beautiful and something I will never forget! It was a fantastic stay and I would definitely stay there again if I am in Big Bear. I can only imagine how awesome this place is during the ski season!

The house is very comfortable, my family loved it had a lot of space for the beds very comfortable , the lake a few steps away we loved the Jacuzzi, we made meat roasted the very equipped kitchen the house is very spacious for the next time we travel for big Beard we will stay hosted with Elizabeth .

Amazing location close 3 min walk to the park and fishing pier , 2 min walk to the local corner store and pizza place ; and a 7 min drive into the town ! The house was so clean and way better in person than the photos , it’s a must stay we will definitely be coming back in the future !!

5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Had a great stay at the Honey Bee Hideaway! Nellie was super accommodating with an early check-in and late checkout, which made a short trip feel a lot more relaxed. The place was clean, peaceful, and exactly what we needed for a quick mountain escape. Communication was excellent, and everything matched the listing perfectly. Definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a cozy and well-hosted getaway. Thanks again, Nellie!

Very beautiful and warming atmosphere all around, the Cabin was amazing and was a warming experience overall! Would definitely come back in the future.

Stayed for a night with a couple of friends to get away from the valley and we enjoyed it so much! beautiful place beautiful decor and in such a beautiful area. Hosts were very responsive as well!

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Caribou Cabin! It was exactly as described but even better in person! We loved the little extras they provided for our baby & dogs! As well as the bird watching experience they provided with the peanuts. It was a very peaceful escape but super conveniently located to town too. Kyle & Jade were responsive and provided great recommendations for food & activities

Weekend getaway with my wife was thoroughly enjoyed with the backdrop of beautiful trees and the fresh air breeze. Only complaint the floor had a layer of dirt and the furniture had noticeable animal hair which had me using my lint roller all weekend. Its a minor complaint as we were out and about all weekend but I know for some it would be a major compliment especially some with certain dander and pet allergies

My husband and I were looking for a relaxing a quiet weekend away with our dog. Chris's place was perfect and everything we wanted to have a great weekend getway.

The best Airbnb we ever stayed at. The house was very clean and had everything you need. Trevor was very attentive and we felt very welcomed in his house. The house is minutes away from skiing, tubing, zoo, Big Bear coaster, grocery stores, gas, food etc. We enjoyed the fireplace, Star Wars pinball machine, foosball table and electric board game table. IMPORTANT if arriving during winter/snow season make sure you bring a 4 wheel drive vehicle or chains. Only 3 inches of snow unexpectedly fell during our stay and we saw a few 2 wheel drive vehicles without chains struggling to make it up the street. Please treat this place like your home so others can enjoy it in the future. Thank you for the memories. We will return.

This house is a sanctuary. I definitely want to return for a private retreat. The deck looks out onto the forest and rolling mountains. The beds were comfy and amenities were great. Very comfortable and nicely designed.
