Lake house holiday rentals in Big Bear Lake

We had a great snow weekend at our Big Bear getaway thanks to this lovely property. Check in was easy. Well stocked with essentials, lots of space, plenty of rooms for multiple families, the house also included games & pool table. The kids’ room had the best view of the lake, I was a little jealous😂. The host was very attentive when a moisture detector alarm went off, but there was nothing out of the ordinary that we observed. They sent a maintenance person over to check it out & resolve it in a matter of minutes. No issues whatsoever. Several feet of fresh snow had fallen so we had snow play in the backyard while ducks swam by. Did some sledding at a nearby lot we spied from across the lake. A dip in the jacuzzi at sunset amidst the snow and lake was a perfect and relaxing way to close out the fun. In the summer we’re thinking of returning so we can rent a boat and have our own private lake access! Can’t say enough great things!

We had a fantastic weekend getaway at Big Bear Lake! The cabin was cozy, clean, and exactly as described. The location was perfect—close to the lake, trails, and local shops. The host was friendly, responsive, and made sure everything was ready for our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and unwind. Highly recommend and would definitely come back!

We absolutely loved staying at Kelli’s place! I had my camp themed bachelorette here and this cabin was perfect! Us girls enjoyed sleeping in the bunk beds and having that nostalgic at camp feeling! We felt right at home and had everything we needed! We loved having the dock available to float around near and tan on. We also rented kayaks and paddled back to the house thanks to close proximity to the rental place! Kelli provided some wonderful recommendations of places to eat and visit while we were in town too! 10/10 stay! Thank you for having us!

Carolyn’s home is spacious, quiet, and has a gorgeous view. We had a couple issues upon arrival, but Carolyn was very helpful. It’s a beautiful place to stay if you are looking for a quiet getaway with convenient access to the water.

The place was clean, peaceful, and exactly what we needed for a quick mountain escape. Communication was excellent, and everything matched the listing perfectly. We stayed for 4 nights for Father’s Day weekend. I can’t say enough about this place. Wissam was awesome, super responsive, proactive and friendly. We had beautiful weather. We used the canoe, fished off the dock, sat on the deck at night to watch the stars, Fire pit area was amazing! Very clean, kitchen was great, loved having an island to prepare meals, bedrooms were big. We loved it there! Can’t wait to go back again this summer. My family and I enjoyed our stay very much, such a luxurious home with lots of little details to enjoy. We all had a turn in the sauna, in the master bathroom shower. The hot tub was perfect, and the lake was just steps away so we could fish and swim as we liked! The kitchen was extremely well stocked, I was able to buy groceries and cook multiple meals and had everything I needed. We had so much fun in the game room. We had an issue with WiFi but the host was prompt in addressing it!

Clive’s place was great for a getaway. Everything was as described. You can tell it’s not just a rental but a home. There is a weird deposit but I got refunded right away and was reassured by Vanessa. Communication was great the entire stay. It’s removed from the village for peace but a quick 4 minute drive. I brought my dogs, 26lbs and 14 lbs. the fence is good for large dogs in the front but the back can’t be dog proof because of the lake. I appreciate the dog policy and loved that they could hang out safely on the deck and watch the ducks

The trip was a huge success! Everyone enjoyed themselves. My kids felt right at home, this was the first time my youngest slept through the night on vacation so you know we were excited. The home is within a 10 minute drive of a lot- which I enjoyed being able the see the lake and the surrounding areas. We had all the things we needed to cook/eat at home. It's quiet! We had a great time. Would highly recommend.

Zabi was a great host, that gave me information before I even asked! very comprehensive. the place was great! had extra stuff like the stuff for smores that the kids loved. clean and cozy home!

Charles and Michael, thank you for sharing your little slice of heaven with us! The lake view from the deck is amazing and so peaceful; we never wanted to leave! The house was stocked with everything you can imagine and more: nice wine glasses, coffee, tea, face masks, eye patches...all the things for a relaxing weekend in the mountains. The house was spotless and the decor is fun. The hosts were incredibly accommodating with excellent communication. We can't wait to go back! XO

Truly enjoyed our stay and the interaction with Tess. The house had all the amenities needed for our family. Great location. You are within walking distance of the Village. Back deck is very peaceful. Used the table and chairs in the front of the house for morning coffee. That was perfect.

Natalie’s home was absolutely beautiful! It’s tucked away in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood surrounded by trees and is very close to the village. My husband and I stayed here for our wedding and it was 400 feet from our venue! The host was very responsive, accommodating, and flexible to meet our needs throughout the busiest but most exciting weekend of our lives. We will absolutely be staying here again! This was the perfect location for a ladies’ getaway weekend. It was a little confusing with my GPS, but we reached out to Katie and she got us there. Upon arrival, we immediately fell in love with the house. It was beautiful, clean, cozy, and so comfortable. We loved the decor, the colors, so many nooks to sit and read, space everything! We especially thought the beds were super comfortable, and we all slept well, including the bunkbed roomies. We really enjoyed cooking several meals in the well stocked kitchen. Our ladies’ Bible study retreat was just perfect. Thank you so much for having us! Do not hesitate to rent this house! You will love it!

Second time coming to big bear and so far haven’t gotten any bad experiences. For this specific occasion, my family and I had a great time with this rental. The cabin felt safe and comfortable, had such a great time and will be coming back again.

This home was absolutely perfect for our group of 6 adults and 5 kids! It was spacious, super clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything needed for a relaxing getaway. The kids LOVED the game room, loft, and ball pit—it kept them entertained for hours. After warm 80-degree days, the A/C was a total gamechanger every time we came home. We grilled on the BBQ, cooked in the well-equipped kitchen, and ended nights stargazing from the top balcony—shooting stars included! Mornings were peaceful with coffee, journaling, and headphones on the lower deck while everyone slept. A huge bonus was access to ALA amenities—private docks for fishing and private lake beaches were a BIG hit with the kids. The ALA card also offers access to private trails for hiking (we skipped due to heat). Nate, the host, was incredibly responsive and made check-in a breeze. Highly recommend this home to anyone seeking comfort, nature, and proximity to shops, restaurants, and adventure.

Family oriented vacation house, wide open house layout, clean bathrooms with lots of towels and supplies. Most of all is the fishing pier a few steps away from the backyard. Overall, we enjoyed our Mother’s Day celebration because of a very relaxing lakehouse. Very thankful as well for DoorMat for their quick response on every message I sent them. We will definitely recommend this property for our next vacation!

Great place in Big Bear! Close to everything. The house was clean and updated. There were a variety of thoughtful amenities, such as washer/dryer, kitchen essentials, cookware, outdoor fire pit, bedside phone chargers, wood-burning fireplace - too many to mention. Our stay was only one night, so we didn't use most of the amenities but they were available. Jose's place provided us a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The only thing is that the house is on a main road and we could hear road noise during the night and especially in the early morning. White noise machines are provided but for us, it wasn't that bad to cause a problem. Just mentioning it in case it is an issue for another guest. The parking situation is very good and provides a half circular drive for easy entry and exit. Overall, this house is an excellent place to stay, a great value and we would definitely recommend when in the Big Bear area. Thanks, Jose for providing a beautiful and well-appointed home.

My friends and I stayed here for a long weekend. We had a great time! The hot tub, the kitchen and the bedrooms were all very nice. We will definitely come back!

Michael made our trip run very smoothly with his instructions and was super responsive the entire time. But we didn't really anything, the place is set up perfectly with everything you might need.

This house looks exactly like the photos. Our group of 7 adults was very comfortable. The beds and bed linens are cozy! The location is perfect for Big Bear. There were a few special items that needed to be addressed and they were addressed. I would recommend asking any questions in advance as the team is very responsive. I would stay here again!
