Holiday rentals with lake access in Benzie County

I have stayed with Lizzie 3 times for ski trips to Crystal Mountain and every experience has been great. ilI look forward to staying again in the future!

Beautiful home in a gorgeous location - perfect for our family getaway!

Jamie was a great host! The place was set up so cute. A little smaller than the pics look, but still good. The doors and cabinets dont close all the way, but probably an older house, we could deal🙂 the outside wasnt setup like pics outside, but we moved the things no problem. It was winter, so couldn't get mad. We enjoyed some time at the bonfire. The hot tub was real nice! Jamie was always so fast to respond and help when needed. Great stay!

Great experience at Donna’s place. Clean, cozy and the kitchen had all the pots and pans and utensils to make a meal. The keyless access was convenient. Great location. Kids loved the bunkbead. Appreciated the hiking trail recommendations. Arcadia and the Baldie dune were incredible. Also loved going up to sleeping bear dunes from here. Fun to watch all the kite surfers on Frankfort’s beach.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The highlight was definitely the stunning lake view right at the back of the property — it felt like having a private slice of nature all to myself. The space itself was clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. Everything was exactly as described (if not better), and the host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful throughout the stay. Whether you’re looking to relax, read by the water, or simply enjoy a scenic getaway, this place is perfect. I left feeling completely recharged and already can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend for anyone who loves nature and tranquility!

We had a wonderful stay at this spotless new-construction home nestled in a quiet, wooded residential area. The house was stylishly furnished, well appointed, and easily accommodated our multi-generational family. Emily was friendly, responsive, and made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in a beautiful, natural setting.

My husband, pup, and I felt right at home here! Clean and cozy with an unbeatable location! Shops, dining, and the Bestie River trail right out the door…Not to mention the lake view from the living room!! Absolutely perfect for our stay.

Booked this AirBnB for a weekend ski trip up north. The check-in was very flexible which was nice because we wanted to ski on check in day. The house was very cozy and inviting. Very clean and taken care of. It offered a lot more room than I expected. The hot tub was spectacular, very hot and the jets are wonderful. Check out was super accommodating as well and the host was very responsive to questions. Only trouble we had was that the furnace has some trouble keeping the house warm during a blizzard. Having the garage was super nice during the blizzard though. It seemed like during our stay most of the neighborhood wasn’t there so it was very quiet and peaceful. Seems like a neighborhood with a lot of summer homes. If you’re going in the winter be sure to take a car with AWD because the roads were pretty difficult to drive on in my tiny sedan. Not the BnB’s fault, but just a warning.

The space has been uniquely updated and quite unexpected when you enter the marina. The unit has lots of space glowing with natural light and clean yet cozy design/furnishings. It is walking distance to several great local spots for eating and drinking and a short drive from any number of the magnificent natural areas Frankfort and the surrounding areas on the coast are known so well for...beaches, lakes, great hiking trails, bluffs and meadows, etc. I found the location to be fantastic and perfect for a family or two couples. I will admit that I found the pricing to be a bit steep at first, but after seeing the spacious unit, bedrooms, and the thoughtful design and character I recognize the value. It was immaculately clean and felt really fresh and well taken care of. I would definitely recommend this space. The hosts were great and responsive. Thanks!

I stayed at the Flip Flop Inn in October 2024 with my husband and 2 year old son. The Flip Flop Inn was exactly as described and a great place for a family to stay. Stacey even had a baby gate and child lock on the cabinets. The tub worked well for bathing a toddler and for adult shower. The space was very clean, warm on cold nights, and was a nice private space. Not sharing a wall with anyone else meant we did not have to worry about toddler noise waking others. The area was very quiet and we slept well. The host was very responsive when we had questions. The Airbnb is about a 10-15 minute walk or short drive to Beulah restaurants and the town public beach. US 31 is very close and it's within 45 minutes of Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dunes, 10 minutes from Frankfort and Lake Michigan, and 10 miles from Crystal Mountain. Accessibility note: the Airbnb is located up one flight of stairs and the 6 foot long path from parking to the door is slightly uneven.

We didn’t have as much time on our trip to stay here as we were golfing at Arcadia late into the night but the morning was beautiful. Place was extremely clean and we had a wonderful experience!!

A wonderful place to stay if you want to be close to the beach and an easy walk to town. Just outside of the main drag so it was quiet and you really felt like you were in a neighborhood. We haven't been able to come back to Frankfort for a number of years and we are very glad we found David's listing!

This is a hidden gem. Location is perfect! It’s so private and quaint. A perfect drive to and from Traverse and Glen Arbor. Nothing beats a property on a lake. Plenty of backyard to run around on too. There is a neighborhood trail that you can stay on to walk miles without having to go back n Major roads, this was a major perk for us to run on and walk on. Definitely would love to come back.

We had a wonderful stay. I grew up on Big Platte Lake, so it was wonderful to share the memories, scenery, and great food with girlfriend. Thank you so much to our hosts, Javier and Virginia.

This was an absolute stunning place to stay! We enjoyed being on the lake and it felt cozy inside the home. Sleeping bear dunes was close. I’d definitely book a stay here again.

Great location and very respectable community with a lot of options for activities!

Our 4 person vacation group had a great 3 night stay at Shirley's beautiful lakefront home. The view was spectacular and the house was clean, neat, comfortable and perfect. Shirley and ray greeted us at check-in, walked the property and house with us, and Ray gave us area history, recommendations and a map showing the best local beaches, restaurants, hikes and wineries. This house is highly recommend.

Our second year at the charming cottage. A heavenly retreat with just the right blend of activity and quietude to truly reset and rejuvenate. The cottage views are tremendous and it feels like one is living in a tree house! Cozy and homey throughout - the beds are comfortable, the kitchen functional, the living room inviting. We will always cherish are time at the cottage!
