Beautiful place and location! Especially the morning in front of the lake was peaceful!!

So fun for our family of 4. We enjoyed the lake and cozy accommodations. Can hear people walking and talking upstairs, which were used to and felt right at home. Thoughtful instructions made everything clear. All was spotless and clean. A real treasure!

Denise and Don have created a beautiful place for guests to feel both on vacation but right at home. This is our second stay and won't be our last. The apartment is well appointed, comfortable, stylish and super clean with everything you might need. The views from every window are stunning. There are endless activities of which you can take part (hot tub, billiards, ping pong, pickle ball, paddleboarding, kayaking, sunbathing, biking or walking the Betsie Trail...and that's just right outside your door). Denise made delicious breakfasts for us a couple mornings which was a wonderful treat. Riding on Don's pontoon boat is always a highlight and we loved visiting with both Denise and Don and their furbabies. Looking forward to our next visit!!

We loved the location of Pattys place. We were in town for the 70.3 Ironman and coming back after to the race provided just the relaxing and quiet environment that was needed. Thank you for sharing your space!

We had a lovely stay in the cutest little cottage nestled in a fairy tale forest above a quaint lake. The host was delightful and the accommodations were beyond thoughtful.

Perfect home, perfect location. The home has views of the sand dunes and Lake Michigan whether inside or outside. Griner's Life Saving Station (home) had everything we needed to spend the most awesome week ever!

We so enjoyed our family trip here! It felt like a tree house upstairs looking out to trees and the lake. It was a cozy family room area. We had a great time kayaking in big Sanford lake. It was so peaceful on the weekdays we were there. Sometimes we were the only kayakers. It was close to Traverse City and we checked out Frankfort and Crystal Mountain too. Overall would recommend!

This property is the perfect place to stay in the Traverse City area for bigger groups! Very modern, private, has everything you need, and the slow, shallow river nearby is great for a hot summer day. Rachel and Blake are kind and responsive, and I felt the value was great as well! Next time I’m in the Traverse City area with a big group, I don’t see a reason to look for any other property because this one has everything you’d really ever want and need. Since it’s on a river, the bugs can get bad, but not a dealbreaker by any stretch. Everyone in our group was impressed and would recommend staying here again!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The highlight was definitely the stunning lake view right at the back of the property — it felt like having a private slice of nature all to myself. The space itself was clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. Everything was exactly as described (if not better), and the host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful throughout the stay. Whether you’re looking to relax, read by the water, or simply enjoy a scenic getaway, this place is perfect. I left feeling completely recharged and already can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend for anyone who loves nature and tranquility!

We had a great time staying here! The lake was gorgeous and peaceful, and the light/views that the windows brought in were unbeatable. We loved the access to kayaking equipment and Harry’s super fast responses any time we had questions.

Tiera’s Sanford Lake Cottage could not have been more perfect for our family! My three teenagers, mom, sister and I stayed in the cottage for five days. We were in town for my daughter’s Interlochen Academy graduation. even though the temperatures are very cold all week, my teenagers still got out on the kayaks and fish from the dock. We built a fire in the fire pit and made s’mores, and cooked our breakfast and a couple dinners in the well stocked kitchen. I also set up, decorated and had my daughter‘s graduation party for our family at the cottage. Being 1000 miles from home and trying to plan a graduation party for one of your children can be a tricky ordeal! The cottage could not have been a more beautiful, peaceful, cozy place for our family to gather! So grateful to have found Tiera’s listing! We were sad to leave the beautiful lakeside retreat!

This was our fifth time staying here. The location, watching the boats on Betsie Bay bring us back each year. The condo is very well maintained, Marc is very quick to respond

The condo was as described. Furnishings a bit dated but the place could not be more comfortable. Good wifi, nice kitchen, good bed.
