Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Benenden

We stayed here 4 nights. Altho the temperatures outside we quite high it remained really nice and cool inside, which we liked a lot. The garden is really cozy and provides both sun and shadow which makes it a pleasant place to relax. Everything was as described and the flowers and milk provided were welcoming extras. The only criticism we have is that the countertop felt a bit sticky and that the cupboards are quite cluttered and we had to search sometimes to find what we needed. Overal we would definitely recommend staying here.

Absolutely lovely place to spend a night - from feeding the fish to a quick round of pool, and of course the brilliant facilities on the patio, which couldn't be simpler to use thanks to the helpful instructions. Everything is set up to provide optimum convenience and a warm welcome (like the plentiful fire/BBQ supplies and the eggs and marmalade from Jane's hens, which were both fantastic, so kind!) Jane herself is a wonderful host, and my partner and I highly recommend this listing. Thank you!

A lovely place to stay. I have been here before and came back as it’s so nice. Spotlessly clean and the treats make it all the more welcoming. Love the large shower and the big comfortable bed. Nikki popped round to check all was ok which was a lovely touch. Also the local pub just 10 minutes away serves lovely food.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay, we felt right at home. Dee and Jeff were exceptional hosts, very friendly and welcoming. They really do go the extra mile, as all the reviews say - to ensure we have a pleasant stay. The barn was everything I expected and more, you could see there were so many nice personal touches and preparation that went into making our stay as amazing as it was - from the complimentary breakfast (locally sourced), to the mobile charger and bottles of water by the bedside. Also, loved having access to Netflix and Prime! Will absolutely recommend and stay again, maybe in the Autumn/Winter time to take advantage of the log burner and fire pit outside!

We have loved it from the first moment. Very nice home with comfy beds and sofas. The kitchen is well equipped and both bathrooms are very clean. Our favourite has been the garden, which invites to relax under the trees. Highly recommended. Would always stay again.

A beautiful AirBnB, finished and furnished to a high standard and quality. Having the cooking essentials, tea, milk, and even breakfast stuff included was an appreciated touch. Would love to come back here perhaps for a cosy Winter stay next time. Gaynor had great communication, but left us to it to enjoy our stay.

Gorgeous flat on the seafront, with two super comfy bedrooms and beautifully curated art throughout the house - would 100% stay again if I’m ever back in St Leonard’s!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Shed. Tina and Jeremy were lovely, very welcoming and friendly. The Shed is exactly as described with everything you need and set in a beautiful garden surrounded by fields. We loved the peacefulness and the bird song. We were delighted to visit The Prospect Cottage with the garden in full bloom only a short drive away, as well as Great Dixter Garden, Sissinghurst Castle Garden and Scotney Castle. We discovered a part of Kent that we had never been to before. Thank you Tina and Jeremy.

Enjoyed our second visit with Antony and Gonzalo. Had stayed 6 weeks in 2019 and became friends with them then. Made it a point to spend 3 nights with them on this trip and it felt like old home week. Antony is very knowledgeable about architecture and grand British homes so he can offer advice on where you may be able to see historic buildings and interesting houses. We hope to visit with them again on any future trip to England.

Stayed at Caroline’s apartment for a wedding on what turned out to be the nicest weekend weather-wise! The apartment was perfect — spotless, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed. The view was lovely, and it’s in an ideal location within easy walking distance to great eateries and bars. Would highly recommend and would happily stay again.

Really well equipped cabin in perfect location to explore Dungeness

We had a wonderful stay. The property was beautiful, full of charm and right in the centre of Rye. We were also there during a heatwave and really appreciated that a fan had been provided! Bob was very helpful and provided tips on where to park nearby. Just a note that the stairs in the property are very steep and the floors a bit uneven, as you would expect for a property of that age. For us it was no problem at all but for anyone with mobility issues it might be a challenge.

Absolutely pristine studio in a private, quiet spot just a stroll from the Common. Along with all the amenities as listed, there’s thoughtfully a bottle of fizz, snacks, milk, nespresso pods and plenty of teabags. Lots of attention and care has gone into the renovation and decor. Jo is lovely and always available. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again - it was a delight. Thanks for having us!

Great apartment, very warm and welcoming and spotlessly clean. It’s ideally situated for walking into Bexhill town centre and the beach is moments away. Would highly recommend and wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you Andrea we hope to return soon.

I had a really lovely stay! Paul was really responsive over message and flexible in letting me drop luggage and check in early as the flat was ready due to an early check out. The flat is so well stocked and Paul goes above and beyond, supplying bread, milk eggs, cereals etc and the bathroom is stocked with everything you need should you forget anything. Location is very near the train station and St Leonards and Hastings is lovely. I found a lot of things were closed on a Sunday or Monday but there was still a lot to wander around and I loved the peacefulness.

Really enjoyed our stay at Steven’s place, perfect location and really lovely homely flat. Definitely recommend!

What a perfect getaway spot. We wished we had booked a longer stay! Alison has thought of everything to create a welcoming, stylish and comfortable experience inside and out! Highlights were strolling to the pretty pond area, private fire-pit area, blissfully comfy beds, views of fields and beautiful gardens. Added bonus was the on-site blacksmith’s traditional forge run by Alison’s son and husband!! Highly recommended. Thank you Alison!

The apartment was very comfortable, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The wood-burning stove and the terrace with its peaceful view were definite highlights.

Tom was very helpful from the beginning until the end of our stay. As we met him during check in, he was very nice as well. The place looked really amazing-style, location, space. We really appreacite the free breakfast (cereals, pastries, milk) and the proseco. Bed was comfortable and the place has everything you need during your stay. We felt at home and will surely stay again next time if we ever find ourselves in Canterbury. ⭐️

We absolutely loved our stay here over a long weekend! The accommodation was spotless and very comfortable, with beautiful views to wake up to.
