Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Benbecula

This is an absolutely spectacular place in a wonderful secluded area. We loved our stay as a family of five. Incredible views from the living room and deck. Living room looks right out of Dwell complete with comfortable club chairs and sofa, fireplace and wool blankets. The kitchen is modern and stocked with top quality appliances, plates, cutlery and utensils. It takes some time but we loved the wood-fired hot tub. Secluded location but easy drive to many local attractions and hikes. We would 100% stay again and highly recommend to friends. One of the best Airbnb's we've stayed in.

Where do I begin? The scenic views, the beautiful home, the attention to detail paid with furnishings and amenities, the chilled bottle of Prosecco waiting for us upon our arrival, or just how nice and friendly Paul and Sally are! The Dark Cottage is hands down the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. We felt right at home and were so sad to leave. The location may seem remote to some, but it is definitely worth it for the beautiful views and peacefulness. The sheep grazing all over the island is an added bonus! Sally is an artist and has some of her artwork displayed in the home and some for sale. We bought a piece to bring home with us! We will never forget our time at The Dark Cottage!

Absolutely stunning location, the views were amazing. Great host with excellent communication. The cottage was so warm and welcoming. It had everything you needed. Really comfortable, very well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. The Isle of Skye was so beautiful and we enjoyed every minute of it. Would recommend staying at Granny Mary’s 100%.

Ein liebevoll und gemütlich eingerichtetes Haus, in dem man sich sofort wohl und zuhause fühlt. Blitzsauber, grandiose Lage ganz im Süden von Harris, ganz in der Nähe der atemberaubend schönen Strände. Die mystische und uralte St. Clemens Church liegt quasi um die Ecke. Auch die Golden Road findet hier ihren Anfang. Bis Tarbert sind es mit dem Auto ca. 40 Minuten, (wenn man nicht die Golden Road fährt), bis zu den Steinkreisen von Callenish etwa 1,5 Stunden. Wir können das Haus nur wärmstens empfehlen und würden selbst jederzeit wiederkehren. Liebe Rachel, lieber Richard, vielen Dank dass Ihr uns Euer Haus zur Verfügung gestellt habt.

Great base for exploring the Uists and Benbecula. Could walk to the shops, airport and beach. It was really handy having the washing machine and dryer as the unpredictable Hebridean weather caught us out more than once! Good kitchen facilities too. Niall was really helpful and friendly and popped by to see how we were getting on. Would recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Perfect base for our week in Skye. Worth the longer drive to feel truly away from it all. Stunning views meant we were content on the sofa when the weather wasn’t conducive to being out. Highly recommend.

Michael and Catherine were very welcoming and helpful hosts and the house is cosy, well equipped and comfortable. We managed to pack a lot into 2 days on Barra. The definite highlight was swimming in the calm, crystal clear sea at Eoligarry beach. We also really enjoyed our walk up Heaval, where we were rewarded with a 360 degree panorama of Barra and the surrounding islands, and the food from Fishbox Kitchen! We only wish that we could have stayed a bit longer!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Gordon’s home. The setting is beyond beautiful- even better than the pictures. One of our favorite things to do for this trip was just sit on the deck and look at the amazing view. The home exceeded all expectations as well. One of the best AB&B’s!

sehr schöne Unterkunft mit sehr guter Ausstattung der Küche. Haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Einziger Kleinigkeit die vielleicht negativ sein könnte, ist die abgeschiedene Lage der Unterkunft. dadurch Bedarf es etwas an Fahrtzeit um zur anderen Seite der Inseln zu kommen und sollte berücksichtigt werden. Sonst alles perfekt :)

One of the most, (if not the most), beautifully located places we’ve ever stayed. The house was spotless and well-equipped with amenities. Rosie was a brilliant host and quick to respond whenever we needed anything. I'm so glad we decided here rather than staying in the town, which we were at first considering. Can't recommend this place enough!

We had such a lovely stay at Taigh Glas Studio! Lita and Carol made us feel incredibly welcome – with lots of helpful information beforehand and always quick to respond if we had any questions. The studio was spotless and really well thought out – we especially appreciated the generous welcome goodies and a well-stocked fridge, which made settling in so easy after a long journey. It’s those thoughtful touches that really make a difference. The views were absolutely stunning out the window, we enjoyed watching the different weather roll in from the loch. Skye itself was beautiful, and it was always a treat to come back to the cozy comfort of the studio after a day of exploring. Lovely modern accommodation, more spacious than the photos suggest. Big comfy bed and good shower. Lovely views and easy to park right outside the door. Sheena was a fantastic host who was really helpful when my ferry was cancelled. Would highly recommend as a base for seeing the Islands.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa splendida casa, nuova, pulita e fornita di tutto il necessario. La location è splendida i dintorni pure. Mary Flora è stata un'host molto gentile e simpatica che ci ha fatto sentire come a casa nostra. Siamo stati tre giorni ma ci sarebbe piaciuto rimanerci ancora. Grazie Mary Flora.

Excellent property. Very central in Tarbet . Easy to find. Good parking. Inside it was perfect- met all our expectations and all our needs. Spotless on arrival . Everything in house clearly labelled. Nicola responded very quickly to any queries we had. Was able to tell us where outdoor chairs were stored on the only sunny afternoon and we wanted to sit outside. Nicola is an excellent host.

Die Unterkunft ist gut gelegen in der Nähe des Flughafens und in der Nähe einiger Shops. Die Unterkunft ist hochwertig ausgestattet. Das Badezimmer und die Küche waren sehr sauber. Der Check-in war sehr unkompliziert und sehr sympatisch. Ich würde gerne wieder dort übernachten.

Owlsnest provided the perfect space for our first visit to Skye. The living space is finished to a high standard and has everything you need. The garden and surroundings are so peaceful and quiet. Karen and Phil were great hosts. Friendly and helpful, ensuring we had what we needed for our stay.
