Cottage holiday rentals in Ben Nevis

A great getaway with loads to do close by for whatever mood you're in - great towns and cities like Calendar and Stirling less than half an hour away, equally beautiful countryside and multiple waterfalls, lochs and walks to choose from on the doorstep. Our toddler loved the on site swimming pool and the grown ups enjoyed the peaceful views from the hot tub too! Rosie was so friendly and accommodating.

Our stay lived up to high expectations. Ainslie went over and above with decorations for my boyfriend’s birthday; welcome notes; homemade cake; fizz and ice in the fridge. She was warm and welcoming, and we felt completely relaxed. So grateful for such a lovely stay in a beautiful area. We will definitely be back! Thank you Ainslie 🥰🤩🥳

We had a great stay in this beautiful house. Super easy to find an ideal location for peaceful weekend and only short drive to local attractions. Great safe enclosed garden for the dogs and lovely walks from the front door. Hot tub and sauna were a fantastic addition, loved the Aga too.

We loved our stay! The views were wonderful. The host and surrounding people are so welcoming. 10/10. The brownies and champagne are truly an adorable touch.

The Arches was a lovely place to stay. Very comfortable space which allowed us to really relax and switch off. We particularly liked the hot tub and, due to the amazing weather while we were there, we even got to sit in the private courtyard and eat breakfast outdoors. The property has everything you could need. Good kitchen and comfy sofa in the living room. The bed is very comfortable and huge! Fab shower and bath set up. We enjoyed a walk up the hill where the views were stunning. Would recommend this walk. We went into Cupar for lunch one day and ate in the Boudingait which was very tasty food. Would recommend. We would definitely return to The Arches. We’ve been to a lot of AirBnB properties and this is up there with the best we’ve been to. Thank you!

This garden cottage was straight out of a romantic fairytale! The gorgeous garden surrounding the cottage and the view of the water and misty rolling hills framed perfectly by a stone wall and ivy were just breathtaking (especially while sitting in the wood fire heated hot tub). The cottage itself was incredibly cozy. We had nearly gotten stranded on Islay with car issues and we weren’t even sure we’d get to enjoy this stop on our holiday. By the time we arrived, we were completely exhausted from the chaos of the previous 24 hours so this relaxing and welcoming space was exactly what we needed to decompress. ☺️ The cottage was well equipped and very clean! We had everything we needed and then some. Caroline was an exceptional host. She was remarkably responsive and lovely to interact with both prior to our stay (when we weren’t sure we’d be able to make it) and during our stay! Anyone with the opportunity to stay here, should absolutely do it! Thank you for everything, Caroline!!

Dina was great. She was away while we visited but was still helpful and responsive from Australia. Beautiful peaceful little home with views of the pasture, cows, and rabbits from the hot tub area.

We had a wonderful stay with my family at this historic cottage. Especially loved the easy access to the Fife Coastal Path that we walked daily into Burntisland or Aberdour. Excellent hosts as well. Thank you for your hospitality, we would highly recommend this property!

Words cannot express the wonderful week we have had on Loch Katrine. Old Smiddy is ideally located for hiking the mountains, lochs and woodland and Carole has thought of all you need to make it feel like a home from home. Having our morning tea watching the Barn Swallows and House Martins catching their breakfast on the lake in the sunshine was very special. Aberfoyle has all you need for food and cute shops and fantastic Doone Hill walk from the town - Free Parking!!! A ferry trip on the Sir Walter Scott from the pier over to Trossachs Pier is a MUST and the Primrose Hill hike was stunning. The Pier Cafe is outstanding, definitely worth a treat and just a short walk away. Thank you Carole for sharing your amazing house, we will be back to enjoy the hot tub and sauna 🤞

Parfait ! Charmant bothy situé dans un cadre idyllique, le Glen Etive. Lors de mon premier voyage en Écosse, j'ai eu un véritable coup de cœur pour ce lieu et quand j'ai su que l'on pouvait loger dans ce bothy, je n'ai pas hésité une minute à y reserver plusieurs nuits. Endroit très propre, fonctionnel: 6 lits, une grande table, plusieurs fauteuils, des jeux à disposition, un insert pour faire un feu, une cuisine avec tout l'équipement nécessaire et une belle salle de bain. Merci à Sheri d'avoir fait de cet endroit, un cocon confortable pour les voyageurs qui souhaitent profiter d'un cadre apaisant et se laisser emporter par les paysages sublimes du Glen Etive. Absolutely stunning setting on the loch - we got to see gannets diving one breakfast time. It made a great base for exploring the area, both to the west and to the east. We felt very lucky to stay there. The cottage was well equipped and very comfortable.

The house is in a wonderful beautiful location. But be aware you have no local shop so you do need stock up in Fort William . We did know that because we were visiting for a Family wedding. The communication from Christina was perfect. We were a full 8 and there is plenty of room .

A bothy is a bothy, and not everyone would be happy living without the things we take for granted. Alison and David make it sensible and easy and fuss free. In a week, I only phoned once, and Alison answered immediately. David visits or passes every/most days, and although a busy man, always had time for long chats. If you want to swap your screen for something less strenuous , sit at the window and watch the tide coming and going.

Craigrowan Croft is a lovely place to stay - Grant and Laura seem to have thought of everything. Underfloor heating is great, really good shower and nice to try out a Jacuzzi bath. There is ancient oak woodland close by and some good local walks. We didn't have great weather but managed to fill our time in an enjoyable way. We went to the Ariundle Centre (close by) a couple of times and had nice lunch/evening meal.

Lovely little cottage in a great part of the world. Sweet and cosy sitting room for the evenings with lots of windows that look out over the garden and fields beyond.

It’s difficult to say just a few words! Here’s the list: It’s a privilege to stay in this unique place, built with care for guests AND for the earth! A warm welcome, easy to find. The view is outstanding Great wee kitchen, bathroom, sitting room. The shower is lovely. A welcome blackcurrant cake slice! Lots of food basics provided. Private and warm and quiet - except for the birds singing Walk to the Pub in 20 minutes- it IS hilly - but good food and beer Really nice Wild swimming in the harbour at the pub. Nicola provides 3 big towels to cosy into afterwards! Only 35 minutes to Lochalsh, about 50 to Glen Elg wee ferry, 35 to Broadford. If you are older, the access is steep for cases etc. Take your time, and it’s fine! If we come back to Skye, we WILL come back to Nicola❤️

Magical stay! So looking forward to a return trip. We felt right at home and enjoyed exploring Skye and Sleat.

We had the best time at Bec’s place! It was cosy, clean, quiet and well equipped. Bec as a host is a big plus, she’s so very kind, was always available when we needed her, just lovely! :) The place is a 5-minute drive from Aberfeldy and a 15-minute drive from Kenmore at Loch Tay. But you can also just put on your hiking boots, step outside and start walking. Absolute recommendation and hope to stay at Bec’s again someday!

Het huisje ligt afgelegen op een prachtige plek met mooi uitzicht op zee, waarin op een avond enkele zeehonden nieuwsgierig rond zwommen. Het huisje is smaakvol ingericht en voorzien van alle comfort. Ik voelde mij er direct thuis. Het bed is comfortabel, de lakens zacht, de pannen zijn van goede kwaliteit, net als de keukenbenodigdheden. Een heerlijk huisje.

The place was very clean and we felt like home. Sheena thought about everything - tea, sugar, milk. There were even cookies! The kitchen is well-equipped. The surroundings of the house are beautiful. It was a great stay! Thank you Sheena! I highly recommend this host and place.
