Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Belleville

We stayed here for a mini honeymoon to destress in private. It is very peaceful and private at this beautiful cabin in a wooded area. The road up the hill is narrow, so bring a good driver in good weather. There were very thorough instructions to get to this cute but tucked away location. Inside the cabin are gorgeous floor to ceiling windows that allow a peaceful view of the trees. The furnishings are cute, clean, and thoughtful. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is spacious, and the kitchenette has everything a couple needs for a few nights away. The TV has Internet and streaming apps. Outside, the wooden porch has a grill, fire pit, and a clean hot tub. There are thoughtfully provided curtains to allow the tub privacy from the (barely used) road. Overall this was a lovely stay and we'd love to return!

We (three adults) were in town for a graduation celebration. For us, the location was only two miles away from the venue. We found the accommodations perfect for us opposed to two separate hotel rooms. We were able to gather comfortably in the living room area. There was a nice little table and chairs on the deck, which would have been nice to use if we'd actually stayed for a bit longer. Upon entering and through our stay, the temperature was very comfortable. There were plenty of bedding and bath linens. Other than using the microwave for a quick warm up for breakfast and washing, drying some glasses for beverages, we didn't really use the kitchen. However, there appeared to be plenty of dishes, glasses, and eating utensils. We were pleased that both bedrooms had ceiling fans. Although we didn't use any of the TVs, they were in each bedroom as well as the living room. Everything was clean. The decor was simple and pleasant. Plenty of lights, tables, seating. If I’m being honest I did not have high hopes. I was in the area for an event I have attended for the last 3 years. This time I was going to go with a hotel, I’m glad I didn’t. This was the best place I have stayed in this area. I was very pleasantly surprised. For folk of a certain age this will feel very familiar. The place was exceptionally clean, no musky smell. The mattresses are older, but they feel like no one has slept in them. I stayed in the larger room upstairs. The smaller room felt equally comfortable. The third bed/ basement bathroom / suite might feel a little dingy and quaint to some, but it was dry and it was clear they took pains to make it comfortable. If I was with a group I wouldn’t mind choosing that space. Good water pressure. throughout. This is the host’s first house they owned. It feels homey. I will come back next year to the event and this will be the place I try to stay first. Also, upon request they will give you farm fresh eggs!!! So good!

I found our stay here extremely peaceful and exactly what we needed. We were grieving the death of a very close family member while simultaneously reuniting with family members we have not seen in a while. It was the perfect relaxing space to find solace and reconnect. The hosts were flexible and accommodating and I would definitely recommend this location and stay here again.

Christy and Rick host a beautiful Airbnb. This is our third time staying, and it is in perfect condition every single time. The hosts are friendly and accommodating. You won’t find a better Airbnb experience. Highly recommend.

It is very spacious and there is plenty of room to spread out. The beds and couches are fashionable and comfortable. Loved the upstairs space and the kitchen was nice and big. Very little to no noise even within the house. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to family and friends.

Place was great! A lot of throwback memorabilia inside. felt like home and everything was clean and great! Definitely recommend!

This hidden gem in the area is a great place to stay! It’s conveniently located and surrounded by walking trails. Local restaurants are just a stone’s throw away. It’s one of my favorite spots to rent, and Daniel is an excellent host.

Wonderful Oasis on a quiet neighborhood street. We very much enjoyed this property for the stylish decor, helpful communication and recommendations that our host, Sean, provided. We easily checked ourselves in and felt right at home. The apartment was clean and comfortable, the attention to detail stood out to us. Sean was an attentive host, checking in from time to time to see if we needed extra coffee pods or such. We can highly recommend this Airbnb and look forward to returning in the future. Thank you.

It was a great stay and felt safe and comfy! We tried one of the local food recs, Cafe Piazza, and it was really yummy! Caitlin was communicative and helped with anything we needed!

The house was very nice and free of clutter. Had all things for kitchen and bathroom that one should need. Very clean and comfortable. I would stay here again for sure.

Aaron’s place was great for a weekend getaway! Very close to the arch and St. Louis zoo. Place was very clean and good eats nearby! Enjoyed my stay very much!!

Really enjoyed our stay. Jene was great host and very responsive. Apartment was clean, well stocked, and had everything we needed. Bed very comfortable and good hot water pressure. Neighborhood was safe and walkable. Walked 3 blocks to good Italian restaurant on The Hill. We would definitely stay again. On thing to note, there are narrow stairs leading up to second and third floors. Use caution if you have mobility issues.

Place was nicely decorated and very comfortable. We loved how close it was to everything! Chris was also super helpful and responded quickly whenever we needed anything or had any questions!

Perfect place! Perfect location the hostess was very accommodating for our late arrival and late depart and we slept so good in the comfortable clean quiet accommodations!

Clean and comfortable, with a fully stocked kitchen. The bedrooms are much roomier than they appear in the photos. The beds were comfortable and the shower head in the main bathroom had great water pressure. Safe neighborhood that’s a quick walk to Central West End. Gated parking around the back is a perk but the street in front is perfectly safe to park as well. Would definitely stay again.

John's place was good for our 2 nights in St. Louis. We were able to walk to a coffee shop at the corner for breakfast on our first morning there. A tornado hit the area on our 2nd day so we were not able to stay. John offered to reimburse us for the second night. Good host, good location.

Smaller space but perfect for two, close to the city was great for getting to and from attractions.

Our stay was very comfortable! We had no problems checking in, the home was well-appointed and well-maintained, and we loved the location on the Loop. Very glad we stayed!

Lindsay was an excellent host and very easy to deal with. The studio apartment was so comfortable and in a great location. She was fast at responding to any questions that I had. I would definitely recommend staying here, and I hope it’s available the next time I come back to visit.
