More than exceeded our expectations! Even more beautiful than the pictures! We wish we had found this place when our first of 3 went to Liberty University, rather than for the graduation of our youngest. Our stay was too short to fully enjoy all the fun things to do ie on the lake and campfire. We felt like we could spread out with the four different patios/ porches, yet we could all come together and spend time in the extra large family room. Great place to walk - absolutely gorgeous! This place is amazing!!

A hidden gem to relax in the mountains and surrounded by deer making it a dream place to stay. 10/10!

One of the best family vacations we’ve ever had! The house was the perfect blend of comfort and charm—so relaxing that we only left by car twice all week. There was plenty to do for our kids and dogs, and the property was incredibly dog-friendly, which made the whole experience even better. We spent our mornings drinking coffee on the beautiful front porch, soaking in the peace and quiet. It truly felt like the definition of relaxation. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with family in a gorgeous setting.

This place is awesome! It rained most of the time we were there, but with all the amenities there was plenty for us to do around the house. The dock is awesome, and it’s on a nice, quiet, spot on the lake. We hope to be back in the future!

The Brenda Property is a majestic lake house right on SML. The pictures do not do the property justice as the sunsets on the lake use every pigment of color in a painters toolkit. The property was easily accessible and the host Ronald was more than accommodating for the special needs of our group and any last minute changes. The property was beautifully maintained and provided all of the necessities of a fully stocked home. The home was very clean and well prepared for our arrival. Instructions from the host were very clear as they had both a digital and physical copy of the guestbook. My family and guests concluded that we are going to make this an annual trip! The dock was perfect for lounging and access for our party’s boat rental along with a load of lake toys and floats. I look forward to future trips to the Brenda as it will create long lasting memories for my family. Thank you Ronald!

My family really enjoyed our stay.The house was immaculate and well stocked.The fire pit was a great hit as were the Kyacks and paddle board. The house is close to SML state park which we went to a number of times. the ping pong table and game room was also a hit.Megan is a very responsive host!

Lake Seclusion was a peaceful, wonderful vacation place for our family gathering. The house was beautiful, comfortable and has an amazing view of the Roanoke river. We loved the privacy on this property and the use of the dock. Our adult children and grandchildren paddled for hours in the kayaks and paddle boards and our boat fit perfectly on the extended dock. Thank you Rachael for answering our questions and helping us with speed and professionalism before and during our stay.

Very modern interior with a peaceful deck overlooking the lake. Extremely accommodating host (we were traveling with an infant). Place has everything you could need (cookware, utensils, tea/coffee, etc.) - would recommend :)

We needed an Airbnb for a wedding. Booked early and location was perfect for where the wedding and events took place. Instructions were clear and we were able to find and get into the unit first try, no problems. Parking was easy and there was plenty with a short walk to the building. Unit was stocked with a full kitchen and washer/dryer, bed, full bath, love seat, and 2 seater table. Price for the unit was definitely reasonable! Perfect for a couple to getaway at the lake! I did message the host to see about getting access to the indoor pool and hot tub (which we ended up not having time for anyway) but I never heard back. This wasn’t a big deal but hopefully a prompt response would happen if any issues arose. Overall, great trip, cozy place, and affordable price!

We were looking for a quiet and peaceful place to stay after a day of hard work in the sun. This fit the bill beautifully! The property is beautiful, check in was simple, and we could park right by the door. There were thoughtful touches like snacks and breakfast options, and we had everything we needed. We are staying there again!

My sister and neice and I stayed at Key To Stay's condo for 2 nights in February. I had previously stayed at that same condo in November. I originally gave this condo a great review, which is why we rented it again. This visit had a few maintenance issues, but they were eventually resolved and Key To Stay made sure to reach out to me personally to make sure we were satisfied. I do appreciate their commitment to making sure they improve the guest experience. I will definitely be staying here again after the wonderful customer service. The location is beautiful, the lake view can't be beat. The area has some great places to eat also.

We love Peggy’s place. The view is wonderful, and everything well apportioned. This is our second stay and would gladly visit again.

We had a great stay at the lake house. The house was clean and well appointed. Communication with the host was effortless. We have stayed at this property before and were pleased to see many upgrades, particularly the upstairs bedroom and the master space downstairs. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway to the lake.

My wife and I enjoyed a quick anniversary trip here and we were 10/10 pleased! The room was clean, comfy and had everything we needed. The location is amazing, from the view to the convenience of the pool, and dining. We were even able to rent a boat on site which was very convenient. Overall we had such a fun and relaxing time, and Susan was very easy to work with!

Great location. Cool house. Plenty of shade. Everything’s easily a short 10-15 min boat ride. Beach close by. The cub house is awesome for kids (even has an intercom to communicate with the main house). Only complaint I have is there were no cleaning supplies, spare toilet paper, or what I would consider basic supplies.

This was our second time staying at Nautical Nook, we absolutely love it here. Truly is a very special place.

W a gem! We loved everything about our stay. Best equipped kitchen we've ever stayed at (for an AirBNB), furniture and beds were all comfortable, but the best part was the outdoor seating and eating areas. We spent the majority of our time outside. We loved looking at the stars, watching the fireflies, and listening to the croak of the bullfrogs before we turned in at night.

I don’t have enough characters for an adequate review! The hostess was extremely responsive, above and beyond helpful, etc. I have stayed at many Airbnbs and this is by far the best! The house is SO awesome and just as pictured. So many little extras to make your stay the best(tooth brushes! 2 of our group forgot theirs(eeww) so this was amazing! High end Shower products, sound machine in the bedrooms, crock pots, gift basket with snacks, seasonal decor, kayak, etc. The personal touches in the house are beyond what I’ve ever experienced and made our stay so special. The setting is So beautiful and peaceful!! I can’t wait to come back!!! If you have any doubts, remove those and move forward!!

Had such a great stay at this house. Beautiful scenery, lots of porch and outdoor space, relatively private from neighboring homes. Bedrooms and amenities were as described. Kitchen was pretty well stocked w/ cooking implements and whatnot. Elizabeth is a super responsive, friendly host that made us all feel at home. Would def go back!

The lake house was absolutely perfect. The house itself had everything we needed and plenty of room for our stay. The dock was great and lounging in the lake on floats was so relaxing. There is also a really cool lakeside restaurant and bar about two minutes down the road that was an added bonus. Definitely want to visit again!

Ben was a perfect host. Very communicative and will do whatever it takes to make the stay as good as possible. Beautiful property and very cool layout with multiple dwellings on the property. So many beds! Great lakefront just an easy walk down from the main house. The deck with fire pit and outdoor TV along with the wiffle ball field make for a great place to hangout and spend the day with your group! Would definitely book again!
