While having a friend visiting from the busy city of Fort Worth Tx, and having never been to Virginia, John’s place was everything and more. Perfect for a quiet nature surrounded vacation and privacy to match. Very responsive host, great nearby restaurants, and near the beautiful SML. Great place to end a great trip! Will book again in the future

We loved our stay here! Upon arrival we were met with a perfectly clean place alongside free snacks and other amenities. The unique style of the cabin by itself made it a fun stay but combined with how well kept Gretchen had the place and all the fun things to do in the cabin made it an outstanding stay.

This place is amazing, the chalet was very clean and had everything needed for a nice get away. It’s located in a beautiful area with lots of farm life and is extremely peaceful and secluded. The hot tub is located in a perfect spot to either watch stars or the sunrise. Overall it was an awesome experience and I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing getaway. The host Coy was friendly and respectful and he responded very quickly to all questions.

Hands down the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in. There’s something magical and indescribable about the place. If you get the chance, absolutely stay here!

This place was heavenly! The home is beautiful, the amenities Taylor provides are endless (spices, towels, toiletries, etc), and we had such a fun stay here. It rained for most of our stay but the covered patio allowed us to still spend hours outside. When we weren’t on the porch we were using the game room or cuddled up on the couch. We cannot wait to come back. If you have a chance- eat at Vinny’s! We went back 2x

We had a great stay celebrating our 10 year anniversary and also a birthday. The house has everything you could need and we loved cooking on the grill and loved that the kitchen was stocked with all the essentials. The house is the perfect layout for kids and dogs as well and the hot tub felt amazing after we hiked Crabtree Falls. The proximity to town and the local pie shop was perfect. We would definitely recommend to friends and family and would love to come stay again.

Place was as described very private and secluded. We really enjoyed it, we came with the dog the one thing to note it is in the woods so there were a lot of ticks but other than that it was very pleasant stay.

Our family really enjoyed our stay! Great mix of relaxing, fishing, swimming, boating (rental), and kayaking/paddle boarding. Mandy was a great host. Thank you!

Jonathan’s home was everything and more than what we’d been looking for! He is a true “super host”!! Of all the AirBNBs we’ve stayed in over the years, his truly felt like a home! His home was nestled in a quiet community immediately on the water! We were able to swim and paddle board daily, visited family close by, but had somewhere to retreat to when we were ready to escape! Jonathan was fabulous! Easy to reach, quick to respond, and had LOADS of recommendations for restaurants, stores nearby, and other activities! We felt like heading out towards Kroger made the most sense for one stop shopping and then you can visit the Bridge water marina and some of the cute restaurants and shops near there! Couldn’t recommend staying here more if you’re considering a place to stay!!!

Overall, I highly recommend staying here as it has beautiful surroundings, is adjacent to the river, and you get a true taste of Virginia. There are also some traditional fixtures in the home which add to the experience, as well as some awesome mounts in the laundry room!

My family and I had a wonderful stay here! Jane provided detailed instructions, was quick to respond to messages, and was a very gracious host. As she mentions in the description, cell service is hard to get, but I did consistently have one bar on the second floor, and the wifi worked reasonably. For a spacious place that accommodates a large group (even littles), I highly recommend Jane’s cabin!

This was our third time staying at Pinnacle Cabin. The location is ideal. This trip was unseasonably cold, so it was nice to have the hot tub and hiking at the state park close by, since we did not have good boating conditions.

The cabin was perfect! The surroundings were beautiful and it was just the right size for our family. Beatrice was very helpful and had everything clearly laid out. More than anything, we enjoyed being outside and bird watching!

Excellent all around. I had a very restful weekend at Christina’s cabin. The location was beautiful, and the cabin itself was more comfortable and well-appointed than I expected, while still retaining a rustic, woodsy charm. Directions and instructions were clear and easy to follow, and Christina was very responsive when I had questions. I highly recommend purchasing eggs and whatever seasonal produce is on offer. I was lucky enough to be here in strawberry and asparagus season myself! Christina’s place is definitely going on my list of favorite places to stay in Virginia.

This cozy cabin was exactly what we were looking for. It is rustic, quiet, clean in a peaceful country setting. It was just as pictured with our host Crystal having an easy check in/out process while maintaining our privacy. We really enjoyed this stay.

This cabin was a wonderful stay, with plenty of room! Dori was very responsive when we needed help and didn’t make us feel like we were burdening her. We all loved our stay?

We loved our stay at Andy’s place! It was well-located for hiking (Sharp Top and Apple Orchard Falls were our favorites) and getting to town for groceries, a few meals out, etc. Sitting on the porch was lovely and the kitchen was well-stocked for cooking at the cabin. Would definitely recommend to others as well as stay here again ourselves!

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful overnight stay at this location. Wonderful design and cozy accommodations. The owners have really thought of everything. We are hoping to make it an annual stay now that we know about it. We could have easily relaxed and enjoyed another day if we didn't have plans hours away for later in the weekend. 10/10 recommend.

Grateful for a wonderful stay! Directions and instructions were clear and easy to follow. The location is convenient to Peaks of Otter, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. I appreciated how clean and well appointed the AirBNB was and I enjoyed a very quiet and comfortable night of sleep. I hope to come and stay again sometime.

Visiting from Virginia Beach with our daughters, one at JMU and one at Virginia Tech, and with family from PA.  The fall color was gorgeous!  Enjoyed the lantern ghost tour and October illumination of the Natural Bridge. We had lunch at Natty B's Cafe and visited Cave Mountain Lake where we saw lot's of wildlife.  We loved the fire pit and everything about this cabin.  You have done an amazing job creating the perfect weekend get away spot.  Thank you!

Beautiful log cabin in the woods on the best part of Smith Mountain lake! Tons of space, so peaceful and a great dock. New BBQ, lots of chairs to lounge on and a beautiful covered porch perfect for contemplating your day over coffee. Chad is one of the best hosts I have ever had - so kind and so responsive. Beds were super comfy, all the amenities we needed and it was so clean!!
