Holiday rentals with breakfast in Bedford County

A comfortable and celebratory stay for our daughter’s graduation. The location was close enough for getting where we needed to be but far enough away from the hustle of graduation weekend. A well appointed home and an extremely well stocked kitchen. We especially enjoyed the screened porch!

The house is very nice - spacious & well appointed. It easily accommodated our large family. It’s located on a quiet cove. The boat dock is well furnished, absolutely amazing & where we ended up spending most of our time. However, it is not easily accessible. It’s a long & steep walk/drive. Fortunately, we had 4 wheel drive trucks that we used to transport people and coolers up & down. A very kind neighbor allowed us to use his boat dock so we could get my elderly mother in law to and from the dock. Aside from it being a little difficult for some to access, it’s a wonderful place. The boat dock & location back in a quiet cove is hard to beat. We also enjoyed boating over to Magnum’s Marina which is right down the cove.

House was clean, beautifully decorated, and extremely comfortable. The kitchen was stocked well, and goodies were left in the kitchen when we arrived. There was a separate living area that the kids enjoyed that was full of kids games and entertainment.

Sandra‘s place was wonderful, squeaky clean and in a great location. She was the sweetest host, we had a great time staying in her place.

Homey, comfortable, like staying with family but without the drama. :) The cats are adorable too!

This place was absolutely immaculate! It was perfect for two families sharing the space and had everything and more than we could ask for. The attention to detail is unmatched from any rental I’ve ever stayed in. The hosts were exceptional and very responsive. I’ve already recommended it to friends and hope to visit Lynchburg again soon.

These 1 bedroom apartments are fabulous! Quiet - clean - comfortable beds - nice kitchen! Everything you need! Plus - to walk to the brewery and sit outside and enjoy a beer! Cute little town! We loved our stay!!

This is a wonderful place to stay! The apartment was exactly as described and the neighborhood was peaceful and gorgeous. Stephen is a super friendly and quick communicator and his check in/out instructions were simple and helpful. I will definitely be trying to return whenever I can!

This was a perfect location for our extended family visit. Close to University of Lynchburg. Apartment was perfect size for our extended family. Breakfast was delicious. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again.

This Airbnb is with beautiful view of the mountains of Virginia. Plenty of parking to choose from. The inside is spacious and clean. Kitchen is a decent size to cook in with a dishwasher, microwave, and huge fridge. The road to it is a little winding to get there but there are several gas stations and convenience stores nearby. If you need a place away from busy city life and a cute mountain vibes, this is the place to go.

What an adorable spot! From the tasteful decor to the adorable claw foot tub… Conveniently located. Coffe and fixings plentiful…and snacks! Very responsive host!!

Can’t say enough about this understated gem! So clean and by far, surpassed the photos. Very responsive hosts and all was just perfect even for our late arrival.

Ansolutely immaculate provisions provided b family style. Bath items are family size not individual. They best best I’ve ever slept on in My entire life! Things here have a clean squared off finish, not a fluffy sinking feeling. This is fine. The look of the bed seemed like it would be hard and I could have failed asleep the moment I sat down. Beyond clean. Everything in place to easily respect property. Two bedrooms. Advertised for 5. With children perhaps. We are two retired adults and were quite comfortable.

We loved our stay at Graham Ordinary! John and Kathy were so knowledgeable and gave such great recommendations of what to do and see during our stay. The mead tasting was very fun and informative! Highly recommend!

Wanda was the absolute best! We’ve stayed at many places in Lynchburg over the years. The Acorn Hill Lodge will be our go to spot from now on. From the super amazing cozy king size bed, to the absolutely delicious made to order complementary breakfast to our pup being welcomed like a member of the family. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Oh, and the spa!!! My daughter had the full body hot stone massage and was in heaven!! This place is a must!!

Jeff and Carol's place is great. I stayed here a few years ago, and was pleased with the stay this time as well. I wish we'd had time (and energy) to use the hot tub - it was ready for us to use. I liked the upstairs space with the fridge. I will definitely stay here again if I need a space like that. Thank you both!

Our stay was all we had hoped for. The location is back in the woods a bit, where it is peaceful and beautiful. The cabin is tastefully done and quite attractive. Sally was an excellent hostess and was responsive in all matters. She even went the extra mile by finding another place for us to stay after we made an error on our reservations. Sally was interesting to talk with and was warm and friendly at all times. All our expectations were met and even exceeded.

My wife and I stayed at this beautiful home in Buchanan for two nights during our road trip across Virginia. Donald and his wife are amazing hosts and just awesome people to be around. They made us feel right at home when we arrived, gave us a tour of their beautiful property, showed us all the areas in the house we could hand out at and shared local recommendations around the area. The room we stayed at was clean, spacious and comfortable. It had a beautiful view of the front porch and a big garden area. We were invited to join for breakfast both mornings where we were spoilt with delicious French toasts, eggs, sausages, pancakes, and coffee. Donald and his wife are great people and we had very engaging and interesting conversations together. Their place is beautiful and there is plenty to do around the area if you are visiting the Roanoke region. We would certainly be returning to their place in the near future.
