Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Bastrop County

Absolutely wonderful. Olga’s home was spotless and well organized when we arrived. It was very accommodating with everything we needed for our stay. We had a fantastic time in Bastrop and being able to come back to such a beautiful home at the end of the day was just perfect. Thank you Olga!

House was great, located 3 minutes away from work. Amenities are plentiful, coffee, creamer, laundry detergent, toilet paper, shampoo. Would stay here again and just extended my stay another week.

Exactly as expected. I’ve stayed here before and Nora had upgraded things from last time.

I had a power issue with the thermostat and Mia was extremely responsive and had a neighbor come help me out. The space is super nice and very clean. Maybe the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on.

Honestly the best deal in the Bastrop area. The house is great lots of privacy and it’s a big place great for a family or a bunch of friends. We enjoyed our stay and will probably be booking again when we stay in Bastrop.

Kim is one of the hosts who takes care of every detail so that the guest feels at home. Small details make a great state.

This was the second time to stay there. We enjoy the house it is clean and decorated so cute. Rebecca is a great hostess and is very attentive and will respond to your messages quickly. We will continue to stay there in the future.

It was a few relaxing days. My husband and children really enjoyed fishing and then spending time in the pool. Everything was clean and organized. We will definitely return.

Jeanne and Clyde were welcoming upon our arrival. They gave us the lay of the land and a quick informative run down on how everything worked. The Yurt was beautiful and the grounds were private and peaceful. We walked the nature trail on the property which had a beautiful overlook on Huckleberry Hill. We took in a local comedy show and explored the historic downtown. We drove the scenic route at Bastrop State Park it was serene and beautiful. Austin is about a 45 minute drive which was nice. The Reserve had a nice pavilion with games, a fire pit, outside accommodations like restrooms, overlook, hot tub, kitchen area, grills, etc. The entire property is very well thought out. We enjoyed our little getaway. Thank you guys! We would love to come back.

We had a great time here, swimming and grilling. It’s so private which we loved, it’s truly a getaway! Very clean and comfortable, loved the openness and all the natural light. Kitchen is well stocked for all your cooking needs. Our pup had a great time here too. The pool was truly amazing and we wish we could’ve stayed longer. We are already planning to come back!

Beautiful and clean home. We are hot natured and the home was very a comfortable temperature. The Neighborhood is also nice. Enjoyed our stay.

Stephen’s open space was just what we needed for one night in our road trip to Texas! Huge yard was definitely enjoyed by my Corgi to run free. It was huge, green grassy and clean. But if you do bring dogs, try to keep out of the right side of the fence, because neighbors there have 5 huge dogs who will spot you and start barking creating a lot of noise. Unless you ok with that. But if you have very small dogs be careful letting them roam free coz there were few spots in the fence easy to sneak out for small dogs. There was also another big loose dog approached from the outer side of the fence. Bottom line, be alert keep an eye on surroundings. The fence is just a wired fence, not wood or bricks. Stephen was very prompt on responding to my messages and went about and beyond to accommodate us. Overall it was a lot of noise going on besides dogs. Neighbors party loud way past quiet time, dogs barking from every direction and a lot of roosters in the morning. It didn’t bother us➡️tired

The bunkhouse is a great rustic experience in the middle of a picturesque landscape of rolling hills and beautiful huge oaks. Our hosts were extremely responsive to our needs and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. I would highly recommend staying here.

As others have mentioned a perfect little get away. Close to the ren faire which was the purpose of location choice, but a gem of a find for other trips in the future. The cottage gave us great ideas for our own cottage to be built at a later time. Thank you for being a thoughtful host.

My husband and I loved Johns place. We felt so at home, it was so roomy and so comfortable from the furniture to the beds. We slept so great, it was very peaceful and close to everything. He had books and I found one to read! It was so nice having two sitting areas. My husband watched tv in one while I read in the other. The back yard was perfect for our little dog to run around and lovely old trees gave a breeze. We will definitely be back.

The place was clean and beautifully decorated. We love our 2-night stay in Elgin. It was a great way to escape and unwind in the countryside. The place had all the necessary amenities needed to make our stay enjoyable, including a vast array of puzzles and a Scrabble board game. Thank you, Kate!!

We had a wonderful visit. We greatly enjoyed all the little extras that the host provided; s'more kit, nice toiletries, map of the property, coffee pods, etc. The area is very peaceful and secluded, we enjoyed the quiet and the deer. The kids had a lot of fun playing in the sand and exploring the woods.

This listing was exactly as described. It was very peaceful in a very quiet rural area. A quant little house. The location was easy to find and Luis was quick to respond! Would definitely book a stayhear again. There’s a taco spot 2 minutes down the road, it’s delicious & cheap! Only thing I will say is that there is only one small cooking pan to use but other than that it was a great stay!
