Kate and Ali were very welcoming hosts with a fantastic decorative eye! The space is wonderful and the photos don’t give justice to the space or quirkiness which was right up our street. They were thoughtful with a welcome pack and provisions for us to be starting off with, especially the eggs! They were readily available with batteries when we needed them and provided lots of helpful input about the surrounding area. We loved the alpacas and the hens and were sad that we only spent time with Spiderman on our first day as he kept his distance thereafter. We really enjoyed the space which worked perfectly for our party, with access to a WC/bathroom on each level. Thanks again, Kate and Ali

Just had an absolutely fabulous 5 nights at Rollestone Barn with 2 of our doggies . The Barn is light and spacious and extremely clean and well equipped. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and the bedroom has a really comfy bed . The fully enclosed garden was fabulous for our dogs and a lovely peaceful place for sitting out in lovely surroundings. Noel and Sarah were very responsive hosts and all the information about the Barn and local attractions was much appreciated. They also left us lovely extras for the humans and doggies ! We will definitely be back to Rollestone Barn to further explore this lovely area - it really was a perfect place to stay !

We had an amazing family weekend. Our hosts were fantastic Communication was fab with quick and extremely friendly responses. The accommodation was spot on. Marvellously decorated and amazingly clean. Plenty of space to relax and socialise. Garden was very private and secure so we were able to confidently allow our young four legged friend the freedom to roam. Barnstable town only a short walk with plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants. Views from upstairs are stunning looking over the river. We absolutely loved it and hope to return again sometime. Thank you again for an opportunity to make some quality family memories. Lovely little base to come back to in the evening. Good location for exploring Devon. Tucked away so you don't feel overlooked. Appreciated the mini fridge and microwave. Comfy bed. Enjoyed watching the birds & dragonflies in the garden. Nice people. Easy parking. Excellent value for money.

This is a beautifully decorated and furnished property in a location that has parking ( front and back). It is out of town but it’s walkable. Harun was the perfect host from the outset, very friendly, and responding quickly to my messages. I would highly recommend this lovely place and would stay there again. Great stay that gives you so much more than you would get for the same price as a Travelodge. Small but well laid out and ample room for 2 + infant and a dog. We particularly enjoyed the location.

The view from the apartment was worth it. Whilst the weather was rubbish and Westward Ho!… a tad underwhelming. Sitting and watching the sea at the end of a day was so beautiful even on a blustery rainy day.

Lovely two nights in this hidden gem. We were late bookers and delighted with location, accommodation and hosts. For the two of us and our hound it was perfect; we received a welcome greeting and the treats were a lovely surprise. Shame for us we only had two nights there.

Great place to stay when visiting friends and family. Friendly host met us and showed us around the apartment, then gave us time to ourselves. Always great when tea, coffee and milk are left for you too. Nice comfy big bed, slept late days. Would definitely stay again

Thank you Yvette! A lovely apartment, perfect for what we wanted and ideally situated. It took us a couple of minutes to find the road, but nothing to worry about. Everything was spotless and exactly as described. The milk in the fridge and the biscuits were a real treat and a nice touch. Thank you. We’ll be back.

We had a great stay. The apartment is an easy walk to Braunton where there are plenty of good restaurants and pubs and a short drive to Staunton sands. The apartment was clean and well equipped. It was dog friendly with use of the garden. We would definitely recommend this for a holiday close to the beaches of North Devon.

Adrienne’s apartment was fantastic for our stay in Woolacombe, including for our 3 year old Labrador. The apartment is in a great location just 5 minutes walk from the town and no more than 10 minutes from the beach, with amazing views from the balcony, from which we had some beautiful meals overlooking the sea. The apartment itself is very comfortable, equipped with everything we needed and we couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you for a brilliant stay - we’d love to come back!

This was our third time staying here. It’s a lovely apartment, beautifully furnished and in a great location. Paul and Wendy are very friendly and helpful hosts. We love coming here to relax and walk. We can safely park up the car on the drive and not have to use it again until we leave, as there are lots of nice places to visit on foot, good restaurants and cafes.

This was the perfect place to stay for a long weekend in North Devon, attending the wedding of some friends. The apartment had all we needed and was nicely decorated. It has incredible views from the window, and it’s situated within walking distance to local amenities, and easy driving distance to Bideford, Appledore, Westward Ho! and other local places. Lindsay was very accommodating and made things really easy for us, with great communication, clear instructions and quick responses. Would certainly stay here again!

Emma’s description of The Snug is spot on and her communication was excellent. A slightly unprepossessing exterior belies a very comfortable and cosy apartment. It’s very well equipped with some very thoughtful touches and it had everything we needed for a short stay and was spotless clean. We met the neighbours who were very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend.

Emily’s apartment is really comfy and more than covers all the bases. It was clean, light and well equipped. Emily sets you up with tea, milk etc. Easy parking and handy for the beaches and lovely walks. We slept well and found it an easy, attractive and generally great base for our stay. We used the cottage as a base whilst walking a stretch of the South West Coast Path. It was absolutely perfect for us: very comfortable bed, a bath, a shower and a private garden - everything we needed to relax after a day's walking. The place was spotless, tastefully decorated and very well equipped. Sarah was friendly and communication was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Apartment was lovely, as described and a good location for exploring Ilfracombe and surrounding areas. It is an apartment in a block, so we could hear the apartment above and while we were there, they were very noisy. Local pubs and restaurants were very good and only a short drive to Woolacombe beach, well worth a visit. Communication from Shirley was excellent.

We had a lovely stay at Beckys, the place is very cosy, has everything you could possibly need which is amazing especially when on a little stay and not able to bring everything yourself. The added extras of the milk and cookies was great and really appreciated. Also really comprehensive instructions for everything in the property and amazing guide to eating out etc, made picking somewhere much easier with our dog in tow. Would definitely stay again and would really recommend. Thanks!
