We booked this for a special birthday for 3 generations of the family The house was beyond our expectations! So well equipped and very clean The views were absolutely amazing Our 3 grandsons loved it and especially the visit to feed the animals and were very excited to collect the eggs Samantha was a fabulous host and we would fully recommend her house and we would love to return again

The surroundings were lovely and a large enclosed garden was great for the dog and our 3 children. we had many a happy night in the hot tub. Lots of things for the kids to play with. We drove to all the local beaches would say most things are within an hour's drive and would recommend watermouth castle as a day out if you have kids!

Lovely bungalow, decorated to a high standard with luxury furnishings and fittings. The terrace and garden were immaculate and all in a beautiful setting. A short walk to the bus stop for saunton sands, croyde and ilfracombe. Tracey Jane was responsive and helpful.

Spacious and private accommodation, Claire was very responsive to messages, well equipped and thought out. Would highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to go back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Honeysuckle Cottage. Spotlessly clean and bright. Very well equipped modern kitchen. Comfortable lounge and bedrooms and a sunny conservatory for dining in. Our host Helen welcomed us and a gorgeous cream tea awaited us, together with homemade scones, jam and bread. Milk, butter and eggs also provided. Such attention to detail. The garden is pretty and dog safe. Helen even provided dog bowls and towels and a treat! We would highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed.

A brilliant stay in sues lodge. It’s so close to the beach! It was such an added extra to have a hot tub and the lodge was beautifully clean.

Had a fantastic couple of days! Vicky was very helpful with our plans for the weekend; chatting through options and generously picking us up and dropping us off to really facilitate our weekend. She was incredibly flexible, friendly and generous- even lending us an extra pair of waterproof trousers! Super grateful! We will be back- maybe with the kids in the summer! Thank you for all your help.

Beautiful place for a family weekend. Rachael was very clear with her instructions. The jacuzzi was fantastic! Would definitely recommend for family getaway!

A great place to stay to explore beautiful Exmoor. The second time we have stayed there its clean, cosy and comfortable with fabulous views of the coast and access to great walks.

Wonderful cottage in a peaceful location. Great base for exploring Devon with the kids. Very dog friendly too and the fenced off woods were a fantastic bonus. Cottage was a typical farm cottage (which is what we like) and was very well equipped with everything we could possibly need. The kids loved watching the horses each day. We've thorougly enjoyed our stay! Hilary ans Graham are the perfect hosts and know how to make their guests feel Welcome and at home. The flat was spacious and clean, the kitchen exceptionally well equipped (we've stayed at a lot of Airbnbs during the past couple of years and the kitchen at Hilary's really stood out, which made cooking for our family of four easy and fun!). Cereals, fruit,bread, milk,..were there on our arrival and were very much appreciated. The girls loved the little garden and playing outside. Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, Hilary took the girls to the stables to visit the horse- they were absolutely delighted!! Hilary and Graham are very friendly and sociable without being intrusive. We'd love to stay at their place again!

A lovely comfortable stay at the property which we would definitely recommend (and we loved the spacious kitchen for cooking). Coupled with a gorgeous location and great cafes and restaurants on the doorstep it was the perfect spot.

It's a really well-equipped place with all sorts of amenities and a very helpful file of useful and interesting local information. It's a really well located place, very close to a main road for great accessibility but far enough to feel off the beaten track. It's a really beautiful place, with a bluebell-filled wood practically at your front. A wander around the hill fort and the field beyond with it's well designed paths and it's views of stunning Exmoor is a must! And the sunsets are indeed breathtaking. The evening sun glinting on the sea was wondrous. It's a comfortable beautiful place!

Great place to stay! warm and comfortable yurt with loads of character. I adored the different furniture and sitting in bed admiring how the yurt had been built. we had such a great time. The bed was super comfortable and I spent a few hours just swinging in the hammock outside. Our yurt was tucked away in it's own little area and felt almost like a little secret garden surrounded by wildlife. Even when it rained we enjoyed sitting in the yurt and listening to the rain on the roof. My son was so excited to hear it was going to rain as he finds the noise super relaxing. I found it so relaxing that I had a short unexpected nap in the middle of the day haha. The facilities are amazing with a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and shower room in the communal area with extra food and drink items to purchase. The shower was amazing! Alpacas, geese, chickens and pygmy goats on site were awesome. The kid goats nearly found themselves in my bag to come home! Great place, great hosts & great stay.

One of the best place we have stayed, the location is perfect only 5/6 min of drive from Bude and due to being at the edge of Cornwall you can easily use this location to visit both Devon and Cornwall, the booking system for the swimming pool very easy to do, anyone with kids will probably love it even more due to the animals present only 1 min walk and the play area. The host are very responsive and helpful. will definitely come back

Really a lovely and beautifully clean caravan, with towels and bedding and all the cleaning supplies etc so no need to bring too much from home. Stunning location you fall in love with straight away. Quiet in winter but you feel safe.

A fantastic cottage with great facilities. The pool was superb, my kids loved it. The booking system for pool slots worked really well.

We really enjoyed staying here during February half term (family of 4 - kids 11 and 7). The weather was fairly terrible but it didn’t matter as we had use of the pool and my husband was happy fishing in the rain! Accommodation well equipped and clean and really warm. The pool is beautiful and the rota system is good meaning you know you have the pool to yourself for half the day, then the other cottage gets it for the other half (other than the cheeky people next door on Thursday morning who ignored the rota and went in anyway when it was our turn…) The cottage is so peaceful with beautiful countryside around and our dog loved the field and woods. We went to RHS Rosemoor and highly recommend The Globe at Beaford for good food and really friendly service. It was exactly what we needed for a relaxing few days away.

What an amazing place! We loved the wood burner and all the possible activities: hot tub, heated swimming pool, tennis, table tennis, crash mat, kayak, trampoline , horses, goats, chickens, and much more! it's the perfect place for a holiday with the family, the whole estate is a destination in itself.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this forest chalet. The location is incredibly serene—nestled among trees with a stunning view of the sea, it truly felt like a peaceful escape from the stress of everyday life. The chalet itself was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. It’s the perfect place to relax, read, or take quiet walks in nature. The host was also very responsive and welcoming, making the whole experience smooth and comfortable from start to finish. We had an absolutely perfect stay at Naomi’s place with our two young children. The location is perfect - 5 min walk from the beach and literally a road away from the main strip of shops and restaurants. View is spectacular when having a cup of tea by the window! Use of the amenities at the nearby holiday park is a real bonus. Apartment was absolutely spotless, and had some really thoughtful extras, like a hidden doll house, some kids books and games. Thank you for a brilliant stay, we’ll be back!

Thirteen of us travelled from all over the UK to celebrate my partner’s 40 th birthday ! The house is absolutely stunning as are the well maintained gardens . Swimming pool and sauna were just incredible . Beautiful towels provided as was all the bedding and great variety of room lay outs to accommodate a large and varied group. The Agga in the kitchen was great to cook on and a great source of heat as was the open log fire with lots of logs provided . Few nice touches on arrival were jam ,scone clotted cream and milk provided . Also great shower gel in each shower . Would highly recommend !
