Great host and place

This place is the most peaceful setting, waking up to a view of the hills, the foliage, the sheep & the cry of the pheasants. It was great! Excellent proximity to trails. Close to town. The space was perfectly appointed, and had all the things we needed to stay comfortably with our 6 month old. I would certainly recommend if you’re needing a recharge in the countryside. And Tanya was quick to respond as needed.

The property was in a lovley secluded spot where you could stay all day and not see anybody . Very central location for places to go …. Very dog friendly . Yummy cake on arrival and very welcome prosecco 🤩

Just had an absolutely fabulous 5 nights at Rollestone Barn with 2 of our doggies . The Barn is light and spacious and extremely clean and well equipped. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and the bedroom has a really comfy bed . The fully enclosed garden was fabulous for our dogs and a lovely peaceful place for sitting out in lovely surroundings. Noel and Sarah were very responsive hosts and all the information about the Barn and local attractions was much appreciated. They also left us lovely extras for the humans and doggies ! We will definitely be back to Rollestone Barn to further explore this lovely area - it really was a perfect place to stay !

We had an amazing stay at Hollycroft Barn, from the moment we arrived Tracey was so helpful, showed us around and made us feel at home, she even baked us a beautiful welcome cake! The barn is absolutely stunning, and so homely, we didn’t want to leave, the grounds are amazing, Tracey even brought down the lambs so we could bottle feed them! Fantastic host and fantastic property, would highly recommend and we will definitely be returning!

The 3 of us had a fantastic stay from start to finish. Felt truly relaxed. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and the Coach house was full of everything we needed, and catered very well for our 15 month old who had lots of toys to play with. The dog is great fun and friendly and its a lovely location to watch the many rabbits eating grass right outside the window. Will be back !

Thank you so much for an amazing stay. The barn was beautiful and spacious and perfect for socialising with friends or family. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, our only gripe was that we wish we had booked longer!!

What can we say, from booking our stay, to leaving after an amazing week, we truly felt at home. Kam and Bens home is beautiful throughout, there wasn’t one thing that we thought we needed or wanted that wasn’t provided for. Kam met us on arrival, earlier than we expected, and showed us around her wonderful home, all instructions in a helpful guide in the kitchen, even tide times, for trips. Great advice for our trip to Lundy, she even sent us up to date weather forecast . Kam provided us with mobile numbers if we were stuck for anything, and ensured it was ok for Ben to check the hot-tub, when we were out. Lovely touches, such as robes for getting out of the tub, were much appreciated. Superb hosts, will definitely visit again, our daughter and her partner joined us for a few days and loved every minute, lovely walk to the beach, only 10mins away, and the most amazing sunsets from the lounge and bedroom . Beautiful spot within walking distance to Slapton Sands, very handy to access all our favourite areas in South Devon. The local inn serves incredible fish and chips. Jaquine was a friendly host with some great recommendations. The accommodation was comfortable with lots of personal touches. Would be very happy staying there again.

The flat is thoughtfully decorated, very clean and full of everything you'll need to enjoy your time there (and of course the view!). Becki was very responsive and dealt with an issue very quickly. Parking was quite easy and very close to the flat. Make sure you have plenty of space for photos! Our children didn't want to leave the view....

Howard's place is spot on .Nice touch with the bottle of prosecco and Victorian lemonade. Would recommend to anyone. We will be going back at some point ,10/10

we had a lovely stay, we managed to get into apt earlier than stated which was a bonus. Apt view was stunning especially the sunsets. Had all facilities and more than you thought you needed. private parking was a unexpected bonus and secure. westward ho is a typical seaside town with massive beaches with safe swimming and surfing. Many different eateries especially the thai restaurant just a few minutes through the side gate.

Christina was a friendly and helpful host. The house and gardens are beautiful with wonderful views of the church and surrounding countryside. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and spacious and we appreciated the breakfast of cereals, fresh croissants, butter, jam and orange juice. A peaceful and relaxing stay. Would certainly recommend. Thank you.

Fantastic place... the views were as incredible as described and made for a really relaxing stay. The split level made the place feel really spacious with plenty of space for guests to hang out together (in kitchen or lounge) or apart. The location was fantastic... with a choice of pubs a stone's throw away. The village has a great atmosphere and is a lovely place to spend a few days. Didn't matter that it rained, the flat is a peaceful, comfortable place to hang out. Would definitely return.

What a truly wonderful stay, and the photos REALLY do not do this beautiful place justice!! We had the most lovely welcome from Chris and Sally when we arrived, were given lots of tasty treats to keep us going until we were able to shop the next day, and loved every second of our stay with them. They really did think of everything we could possibly need, and nothing was too much trouble for them. The location is excellent as we were able to park right outside the property. There is also a bus stop directly outside so we jumped on the bus to Exeter, which only took half an hour. The drive to Starcross is only about 10 minutes and we parked up and got the lovely foot-passenger ferry over to Exmouth (definitely worth the trip and very cheap.) We will DEFINITELY be returning and are already missing the sound of the ocean.

Rockpool is a wonderful place to stay! Kay is a friendly, helpful and generous host. We appreciated the lovely treats left in the fridge for us. The location is peaceful and quiet and the accommodation is comfortable, very clean and well equipped.

we had a fabulous few days in this attractive and stylish apartment. The location was excellent as were the unparalleled views across the river Dart to the Britannia Naval College. There was plenty to do in the local area with easy access to Dartmouth and numerous restaurants, parks and shops. Matt is a very helpful and supportive host and we would highly recommend the Loft as a wonderful seaside escape

We had a perfect weekend at Phil and Larraine’s. The apartment was clean, spacious, well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. The outside seating area and garden was lovely. Our hosts were always available if required but also respectful to our privacy. We felt like the place was ours and settled in from minute one. Thank you Phil & Larraine . Just one more thing - those views WOW!

We had a lovely stay at Emma's place. She gave clear instructions for parking and finding the building, which were very helpful. The Snug is really homely and we felt comfortable straight away - Emma has thought of everything. Perfect when arriving after a long journey. We were there for a wedding so having things like the hairdryer, good mirrors and an iron were very useful. We also had an amazing day at Woolacombe beach. Highly recommend!

Stunning apartment set in beautiful grounds with easy parking directly outside the door. Every room is beautifully furnished and the kitchen superb. We enjoyed spending time in the kitchen/diner and the garden room so much we didn't actually use the living room on our stay! The walk into Torquay would be very strenuous, (especially the uphill return!) so would advise driving instead. Communication with Josh was excellent.

It’s a great flat in a great location. Slight hiccup with hot water but Dean sorted promptly. Would recommend.

Karens place is beautifully decorated there is nothing gone to chance this place is exceptionally well presented, its absolutely beautiful and great value for money, I stayed there whilst I was working away so was a bit gutted I couldn't enjoy it longer! this is a must if in the area, it has everything a couple or family could wish for, I'd love to return with my family!

The apartment is lovely, exactly as described and you see in the photos. Easy walk to the beach and town centre where there is everything you need for a seaside break. Beautiful, wide beach with rock pools. Lots to watch and lots tl do. Becky sent regular messages letting us know directions and the entry code etc. There were games inthe apartment and lots of dvds in case of bad weather. If slso has Netflix and Prime. Perfect getaway apartment ❤️

Fabulous three night break in this wonderful location. The weather was on our side, so eating breakfast on the decking, in the sunshine, looking out at the ocean was just perfect. Shower was hot, bed was comfy, kitchen was well-equipped and the hot tub provided the icing on the cake. We enjoyed walking along the coastal path with Ozzie the dog, and the local pub had some of the best views and decent pub grub. Sarah and Ed were lovely and friendly, whilst also being respectful of guest privacy. Great find! Would highly recommend.
