Family-friendly holiday rentals in Barmouth

Such a beautiful and peaceful break away! Cyfie farm is so welcoming and friendly, the hosts and family who are walking around the farm and the animals are all happy to see you. The air bnb itself was clean, cosy and had everything you needed.. but the location made it all even better! The most stunning views, and you’re in the thick of nature without feeling out of place. The perfect break away from the every day routine Teresa and Matt were very helpful and welcoming hosts. They were always responsive to any messages or questions we had, and always happy to have a chat if we saw them on the farm Felt like home away from home, we’ll be returning very soon!

We stayed at this lovely cottage for 3 nights and it was incredibly relaxing and peaceful. We explored the area and did most of the local attractions and after a long day we could come back and go in the hot tub to relax. It was exactly what we needed and couldn't want for any more!

We loved our stay with Nick and Charlotte. They were very helpful and made us feel very at home in beautiful surroundings. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub after a long walk in the mountains!

Upon arrival we were stunned by the beauty of the surrounding village and rivers the whole place is beautiful, we were welcomed at the air bnb with a nice bottle of champagne waiting for us on the table, the house was spotless and very spacious with 2 downstairs bedrooms with 2 single beds in each very nice decor and a nice homely feel also a downstairs bathroom with an amazing bath and shower and very spacious a living room downstairs also with sofa, armchair and tv, upstairs had another spacious bedroom with 2 single beds and another shower in upstairs toilet again nice size and decor, the upstairs living room is a beautiful space with an amazing log fire (all wood provided) very spacious and cosy there's nothing that hasn't been thought about here the kitchen is upstairs and has all the appliances you can think of with 2 nice dining areas, one dining area is based right next to a big sliding door leading you out to a huge decked balcony area with seating and a barbecue.

we had a wonderful stay at Carolyn's so peaceful. The cottage was clean and tidy and Carolyn was available if needed. Carolyn gave us a lovely welcome and showed us around the cottage explaining how everything worked.We had a nice welcome pack and information about the surrounding attractions.

A beautifully presented holiday home. Perfect layout for two families to share with everything you need to hand. Very comfortable beds and lively and warm when you needed it to be. Antonia was quick to respond when we had a little hot tub query so we were able to enjoy the bubbles. A great place xxx

We had a wonderful time at the Ranch. Suzanne was a great host. She gave us clear instructions on how to reach her place and provided us with everything we asked for including the Hot Tub. Will definitely book again!

What an amazing place beautifully presented in a fabulous location and dog friendly, lovely enclosed rear garden and within walking distance (10 mins max) of a beautiful pub with the best steak we have had for a long time. Ian the host is fantastic very responsive to any message sent with a stunning place to stay, exactly how you would expect and more, even had dog treats in a jar ! Will definitely stay again at some point when we come back on a walking trip, Moal Siabod is in view and you can walk it from the house with a map provided, tryfan and Ogwen just a short drive oh and a famous cafe on the doorstep literally ! No need to cook breakfast. Thanks Ian excellent work

From the moment you arrive through the gate, you are surrounded by nature and relaxation. The cottage is lovely, well equipped and homely. Marianne left some delectable home bakes (cake and bread) as well as hen eggs and milk. Perfect to settle in. The area is secluded yet not far to drive to the main attractions. Although steep to drive up the hills, we found a less steep route in and out. We’d love to return as it’s so central to most of North Wales.

The farmhouse is gorgeous in a very remote location which we love, its so pretty, the garden is well kept and the surrounding views are lovely, the singing of the birds, the buzzing of the bees and the ocassional noises from the farm life are very comforting. The garden is very private and if the weather was a little drrary you could enjoy the piggery (sunhouse). Thete was a bbq alrrady to use and even charcoal. We wete so lucky with the weather. The house was spottlessly clean with everything you needed. We would definitely visit here again. Our dogs are knackered from running atound the gatden and enjoying the surrounding walks. Would highly recommend this property you definately wont be disappointed ♥️

Lovely location, ideal to use as a base to explore. Very friendly host, he explained where on his land we could walk the dogs. Lovely views of the mountains and the steam train passes the drive every day.

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Sally’s cottage. We enjoyed a meal and drinks at the pub just over the road on our first evening and the staff were extremely helpful when advising on the best way to access the paths to Snowdon. The cottage was perfectly located to climb Snowdon. We walk the very short distance to the start of the Rydd Ddu path and returned down the Ranger Path. We then walked the 1.6 miles back to the cottage which of as a nice cool down walk for our legs! The cottage was also a great base to explore Caernarfon, Conwy, Bangor and Llandudno, which we did a tour of by car in a day. Back to the cottage itself and it was immaculate. There are a few steep steps to access the garden but once there you are gifted wonderful views of Snowdon and the steam train carrying passengers to the summit. Sally provided everything you could think of, including dishwasher tablets, tea, sugar and coffee! I would highly recommend!

This was a lovely spot for our stay in Snowdonia. Very central for everything and it was situated in a very quiet lane with trees all around but still a nice outlook. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t the best during our stay but we still managed to sit out on the deck for breakfast a couple of times, which was magical with all the bird song around. Rachel was a great host and very helpful and responsive. The cottage was very well set up and surprisingly spacious. Would definitely stay here again, beautiful spot.

Wonderful Welsh style house. Everything you need is in the house. Great places to visit around. Wonderful and welcoming hostess. It was a truly unforgettable trip. Highly recommended.

We absolutely loved our stay in Nia’s converted barn. The place itself was immaculate and incredibly cosy, with great views from every room. We wanted somewhere a bit off the beaten track and it didn’t disappoint - tucked away in the peace and quiet of the countryside, yet a short drive from all the best beaches. The enclosed garden was perfect for our little one and our dog to play in, and it was lovely to be able to have dinner outside. Nia was a fantastic host and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We’ll definitely be visiting again in future.

Perfect place for our family of 4. The cabin was plenty big enough for what we needed - a base for an activity packed break, whilst being cosy enough for the cold nights we had. Rebecca’s description of the cabin was spot on and instructions very clear and helpful. We ran out of electricity one evening, which we were told could be a possibility and Rebecca reimbursed immediately despite us saying she didn’t need to. The shower was a little temperamental and didn’t like all 4 of us showering one after another (tripped the elec) but was ok in short bursts! The location of the cabin was perfect … close enough to Caernarfon centre without being in the town and also only a short drive from Zip World, Llechwedd and Snowdon which we had planned. Rebecca had recommended The Black Boy Inn for food which was lovely (pricey, but worth it!), unfortunately, the Bella Pizza delivery service recommended no longer operates. We would definitely book with Rebecca again. Great host and great cabin.

The accommodation had everything we needed. Bed was comfortable and it was a great base for exploring local areas. Host was attentive and friendly:)

We had such a lovely stay last weekend. It was in the most beautiful location with a fantastic view. Would definitely stay again.

The farm was amazing and safe, the children loved feeding the animals in the morning, the swimming pool was great for a rain afternoon and the games room was so fun. The BBQ Sharon and her husband put on for the guest was a fabulous bonus, so generous and delicious. We will be coming back!!!

we really enjoyed our stay and made use of the hot tub which was an added bonus! Jo supplied everything we needed for our stay, including a carton of milk in the fridge, a lovely bottle of prosecco which was enjoyed by all of us. It was a home from home

The mountain vistas surrounding the property were breathtaking. I highly recommend this location for anyone seeking tranquility and natural beauty. It was a truly memorable experience.
