Cosy house with hot tub and stunning valley views

RobertRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We loved our stay at Nimah's airbnb "The Piggery" it was great to switch off and enjoy the surroundings, and we had good weather for 90% of the stay which made it even better. The location was ideal and the views from the property were amazing, especially during dusk. There were lots of useful things within the Piggery and the hosts seem to have thought of everything to make you stay relaxing ,including a great selection of dvds and games. We done a lot of walking during our stay and highlights included walking into to Llangollen via the canal path and visiting horseshoe falls and the surrounding area. Lots of places to eat including the Bridgend hotel in the town centre and returning to relax in the hot tub with the views was really nice We would definitely return and stay again at the Piggery, Nimah was an attentive but not intrusive host, and we wish her well with the upcoming addition to her family

Lovely stay, stunning gardens - would have been good to know there are other holiday lets immediately next to the property the listing does give the impression it’s totally isolated but thankfully there were no guests in the other houses while we were there.

2 bed /2 bath luxury barn conversion with hot tub

MichaelRating, 5 stars1 day ago
I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Both couples in our party were highly impressed. Steven was very welcoming and we appreciated the supplies to get us started. Everything in the house is of a high standard and very comfortable. Outside there are superb views from outside seating and the hot tub. There is a good barbecue and we enjoyed cooking and eating outside. Llangollen, Bala, Ffestiniog and Snowdonia are nearby. Luke came and introduced himself and he and Steven are the perfect hosts, very charming and helpful but not intrusive or fussy. We definitely would love to come back

Cottage for two with Hot tub on Mt Snowdon

AndrewRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Had a lovely weekend break at Rosie’s property, the location was excellent just off the Rhyd Ddu path and in a lovely quaint quiet area. The cottage had everything you could ask for and was very clean and tidy, the hot tub being a lovely little touch. Had a really great experience from start to finish, Rosie was very helpful and the instructions provided were excellent. Would recommend to anyone contemplating!

Wow. Danny's place is beautiful inside and out. The hot tub was easy to use and the house was super comfy. Llanberis has everything you'd need and is a great gateway to North Wales. Something to do in all weathers.

Fab restored small barn & hot tub near Snowdonia

DanielRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Perfect private piece of heaven in North Wales ideal for couples looking to get away for a few nights. June is an excellent host; very warm, welcoming and cool. She introduced us to the property and herself and then left us to ourselves. June lives in the property next door and offered to provide any assistance if we needed it but also respected our privacy and only came onto the property once a day to check the hot tub (always when we were out). As a gay couple June felt safe and welcoming as a host. The building is a converted barn with lots of original features but was modern, clean and warm. The views from the private back garden are spectacular. Sitting in the hot tub at night under the stars was a highlight. Nebo is a quiet and peaceful part of the world to slow down in. Cannot recommend this property enough and will definitely visit again when we need some time away from the rat race. Bravo June!

Romantic Grade 2 Listed Cottage in Maentwrog

RobRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a great stay in Catrin’s cottage. The location was ideal for us - in a picturesque, quiet village, but within easy driving distance of Portmeirion, Harlech Castle, the Ffestiniog Railway and all of the other attractions in and around the Snowdonia (Eryri) National Park. There was also an excellent restaurant and pub (The Grapes) within a few minutes’ walk - Sunday lunch there was a particular highlight. The cottage itself was cosy, comfortable, well designed and equipped with everything that we needed. The quirky design made the most of the available space, and the view of the Vale of Ffestiniog from the kitchen and bedroom windows was magnificent. The log burner was a bonus, especially as we ‘enjoyed’ some typical North Wales weather during our stay! Catrin was an excellent host, and the pre-check in information that she provided meant that we were able to find the cottage easily despite its secluded location. Overall highly recommended - we’d definitely stay again.

Beautiful town location between mountains and sea

HayleyRating, 5 stars4 days ago
What a wonderful stay! The cottage is beautiful, compact but modern and perfectly sized with everything you need. There is no parking here but we hovered outside to drop the bags in and then it wasn’t a problem to find street parking nearby. We visited the Mach Loop twice and had a brilliant second day there in the sun with plenty of air force activity. We visited Portmeirion (expensive and not really that good) and Barmouth (closest seaside point, fantastic fish and chips). In Dolgellau village, we didn’t try many of its food places except breakfast at TH Roberts, which was truly delicious, they had run out of Bakewell tart (apparently it’s fab) settled for the flapjack (only OK, at best). Julian was a fantastic and responsive host, quick to answer any questions and allowed us to check out slightly later than scheduled. Overall an amazing stay, we loved it and we will definitely be back. Thank you again 😊

We loved the private front garden and secret back garden with the sound of the river. It was brilliant to be so close to the town and yet be able to walk up to the hills above. Its a stunning location. The cottage is tucked away and we loved the fires and en suites for each room, its really a lovely place to be, its a beautiful cottage, thank you so much. We had a fabulous stay in Dolgellau.

Seaside Cottage

GillRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We enjoyed our stay in this delightful cottage. It was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Though the weather was rather cold and windy we were quite warm enough inside. If you don't mind a 'get away from it all' location we would thoroughly recommend it. The only thing we would have appreciated was a non-slip mat for the shower, and also perhaps some recommendations for local places to eat, and walks other than the coast path, which wonderfully was only a couple of minutes away. But these are only minor points. A really lovely place to stay!

Cottage beach & mountains - Secret garden now open

ViccyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Laura was very reachable from the min I booked our stay. Sending us through all the information we needed ahead of schedule along with clear instructions. Laura gave us many recommendations as to where to visit and where is good for food nearby. The cottage was very quaint and charming. The gardens were wonderful and I just loved the freedom for my dogs of having the back door open for them, knowing they were secure. The neighbours were also friendly. The cottage was close to one of the main roads (3mins away) and therefore made exploring the local area and farther afield very easy. The shower was amazing after a hard days walk. All in all, the cottage was perfect and had everything we needed, was cosy and charming. Laura was a fantastic host, easy to get hold of and checked in to ensure we were happy. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend Laura as a host.

Hand Crafted Studio in secret Snowdonia Valley

ThomasRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Anna has a beautiful barn conversion in the middle of a peaceful valley in Snowdonia. The place was clean and ready for arrival and Anna offered some wood as well for the fire. The beds were very comfy and the place is kitted out with all the utensils and facilities you need. The tap water is from the mountains and the bathrooms are lovely.

Charming cottage, 5 minutes walk to beach.

KatRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We stayed here for 3 nights with our 2 daughters (7 month old and 7 year old) as we hadn't had a small getaway for a while. We searched for ages until we finally came across Tony & Micheles beautiful cottage. There was plenty of room for all 4 of us, as we only really ate / slept there as we were out most of the day exploring. Car park is less than a minute walk away, with plenty of spaces. We also tried the local pub which was great! Our 7 year old loved her room with a double bed, and view of the sea! We did have a powercut for about 30 minutes on our last night, but there are plenty of emergency torches around the property, and luckily our 7 month old was in bed, so didn't need a bottle making, but her medicine is refridgerator dependant. This seemed to affect all the properties in the area, but we lit the log burner and had a cosy time together talking.

Ffermdy Bach, close to Borth y Gest's coastal path

MikkiRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
First impressions were great, spotlessly clean, homely but uncluttered. Appliances and cooking equipment were well thought out and we didn't need anything else. Communication was friendly and helpful. A perfect spot for a quiet, get away from it all holiday with sandy beaches and the coastal path on the doorstep and interesting places to discover just a short drive away. We loved our stay and hope to return and explore some more. Thank you

Glasfryn holiday cottage

AndrewRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Three adults, one child stayed in this super cosy cottage. We stayed only one night and we wish we could have stayed longer as we felt right at home, as soon as we walked in through front door. A nice addition was a starter pack of logs for the log burner which was really thoughtful as we arrived at 10 pm to self check in. Complimentary coffee, tea and everything we needed was already there. Very comfortable beds and lovely little garden 😊 It was like going from home to home ♥️
