Great house, tidy, cool and wonderful hosts! Lucy the house cat is wonderful and we’d highly recommend for a peaceful holiday! Would recommend hiring a car though as it is 20mins+ from most things!

We had booked it for my 70th with all our family. Unfortunately my husband too ill and wasn’t allowed to fly. The rest of the family and grandchildren had the best time. The villa was as it was in the pictures, spacious and clean. The pool was spotless as the pool cleaner came to keep it maintained. It’s the first time my family had been to Portugal and they just loved it and would recommend anyone booking this villa would be very happy. They are due back today and the feedback from them has been very good. Infact we might just book this for next year. Steve and Natalie have been amazing hosts. We all would Definitely Highly Recommend this Villa and Location. 5 Star ⭐ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A Perfect Family Getaway in Lagos! We recently spent a week at this beautiful villa in Lagos with our family, and it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how spacious and immaculately clean the property was. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax, whether inside the villa or out by the pool. The highlight for us was definitely the pool area—it offered a stunning view that made every morning coffee and evening swim feel like a luxury experience. The outdoor space was peaceful and well-maintained, making it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the sunshine. Ursula, our host, was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout our stay, which made everything smooth and enjoyable. Her warm hospitality really added to the experience. The location was great too—quiet and private, yet just a short drive from the beaches and town centre. We felt completely at home and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend for families

We had a wonderful stay in Alvor! Francisca is a great host – warm, helpful and always available. She made sure that we felt completely comfortable and were provided with all the necessary information. The house is very cozy, lovingly furnished and well equipped – we lacked nothing. We especially liked the toys provided, beach utensils such as umbrellas, chairs and digging things - perfect for our holiday with a child. The beaches in Alvor are beautiful, ideal for swimming, playing and relaxing. There are great excursion options in the area - our daughter loved the Dino Minigolf! The resort itself offers everything you need: restaurants, shopping and a pleasant, family atmosphere. We really enjoyed our time here and would be happy to come back!

Jose’s place is welcoming, comfortable and very accommodating with thoughtfulness in the details. A great location in the charming town of Monchique. I would love to return one day.

We stayed at Tobias' place for over a week and it met all our expectations of a stylish, elegant, well-equipped house with a magnificent terrace. The view of the sea while eating outside was fulfilling and beautiful every time. We were there with our two small children, who loved to explore the garden or run around the house. The neighboring SurfHostelw was also great, as we were able to book a yoga class there and were allowed to have a fish barbecue. Of course, the beach Praia Ingrina, 1 km away, was a highlight, as it is a sheltered bay and therefore ideal for small children. In addition, we were often just a few people on the beach. We will be happy to come back.

The view itself is worth staying at this place. We loved listening to the waves as we fell asleep and loved waking up to an incredible view. Even while showering you can look out at the ocean. It was clean and has the bare minimum necessities. I think this spot on the interior has potential to be much cuter and a little better stocked, but we still loved our stay. We spent our afternoons on the deck tanning and loved how all restaurants, bars, and beach were all walking distance. This town is adorable!

We were 12 people who came together (ranging from 3- 89 years old), from across the globe and we all had a wonderful stay. It was perfect. The areas (inside and out) were large enough for us to gather together as a group, and the house was spacious enough that people could retreat to their room or area should they want to break away for some alone time. We cooked big dinners, spent hours in the pool, and played games at night. The grounds were private, filled with beautiful bougainvillea, geraniums, and hibiscus plants. There is plenty of sun and shade (outside) and ACs in the bedrooms. I would say the pictures don't do the home justice. The rooms are larger in person. The hosts were readily available to help with finding things in the home or with recommendations for things to do in the area.

Jonathan was a great host. Super responsive and communicative. The location is close enough to all the bars and restaurants to walk in minutes but far enough to have some quiet. The outdoor terrace was great and the whole place was clean and comfortable. We made a mistake and locked the keys in the bedroom on accident and as to get them retrieved so keep them with you at all times in case the wind blows the door closed. We’d definitely stay again!

We were positively surprised by the appartment. It looked even better than ok the photos. The view was spectacular and location is ideal. Communication was also really good and Maria sent us useful recommendations. Would definitely visit again!

Great location! Pedros place is on a side street making it quiet, and its only a 5 minute walk to all of action. We could hear street noise and voices with the windows open, but it was completely silent when we closed them at night. The beds are firm but comfortable. The water pressure and temperature in the shower was amazing. Pedro is very warm, welcoming, and offered many restaurant recommendations. He is quick to answer any questions. He was flexible when our we had a wrench in our travel plans, and assisted us in finding a place to park. We very much enjoyed our stay and highly recommend staying at Pedro's!

We had a nice, relaxing week at Oliver and Nina's place. The surroundings were great. Not to be missed, many beautiful things to do and even some delicious restaurants within walking distance. We had a rental car and would also recommend one in principle. The nearest shopping facility is not far away, but it is more convenient to go by car. The accommodation itself was well maintained, clean and as shown in the photos :-) we would come again.

This place is diamond level ! They had everything we needed to enjoy the beach that’s a walkable distance from the location. Cozy, quiet, and great location. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed at Peggy’s condo for 3 overnights. She was very responsive and clear with instructions about finding the condo and how to gain access. The condo was very well equipped and the upstairs rooftop views were spectacular. There are walkable restaurants for all Meals. You can walk to the walking section of Lagos. We drove as we had a rental car and are seniors. There is a local beach nearby- driveable. We used Peggy’s place as our base and went out and explored the beautiful Algarve every day. I highly recommend as the condo is exactly as described and Peggy and Rupert are fantastic hosts. The condo is also very clean and well maintained.

Marco's accommodation was really great. 9/10 points - why: I thought, according to the photos, that it was the neighboring house with a pool. We were on the first floor and actually I prefer to stay on the ground floor with my 5 year old son, which unfortunately was not quite clear. Top was: not even 5 minutes walk to the beach, great restaurants on the beach, expensive supermarket just around the corner. The apartment is super clean and the kitchen has everything you absolutely need for self-catering but nothing more, no pasta strainer and no lemon squeezer, for example. Tableware also minimally from the number of pieces (6 glasses). Marco and his mom are super nice and helpful at check-in, furthermore we did not need them, as it was not our first Portugal vacation. Price-performance with pool top - you can't rule anything out. Portimão is a great location, 50 minutes by car from Faro Airport and 30 minutes from Lagos. Best regards, Jessica & Family.

Fabulous location! Beach, amazing boardwalk, and town very near, just lots of stairs! But that is beautiful Portugal! Views from porch were fantastic; everything you needed was in the kitchen and it was a very welcoming place. We didn’t use the pool, but it is a good size and well maintained. Master shower is a bit tight, but a big beautiful bath is 5 steps away, so really no big deal. I would definitely book here again if the opportunity arises!

We loved staying at Marlene's place! The location can't be beat. The views were amazing and we enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the walking trails along the cliffs. We found the walk to town totally doable (10-15mins) with also a few restaurants even closer (Mar, Luca's rooftop, etc.). The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

Wow!! What an amazing place! One of the best Airbnbs I have ever stayed in! The photos don’t do it justice! So much nicer!! Super clean, tastefully decorated, very well equipped, fantastic rooftop terrace, and gorgeous beach views! The location is fantastic, literally a two minute walk to the beautiful Meia Praia beach. Carolina is so friendly and was super attentive during our stay! Highly recommend and will definitely be back soon!!

We had a fantastic week at Anita’s apartment in Praia da Rocha. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome – Anita and Antonio had left a generous guest pack including ham, cheese, wine, milk, water, biscuits and crisps, which was a lovely and thoughtful touch after our journey. The apartment itself is bright, spotless, and has spectacular views across the beach – which, pleasantly, wasn’t too busy during our stay. The location is excellent, with a great selection of bars and restaurants just a short walk away. Anita and Antonio were outstanding hosts – friendly, responsive, and clearly committed to making sure their guests have everything they need. Their detailed information pack was really helpful, and they were always quick to answer any questions we had. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this apartment – it’s a perfect base for a relaxing stay in Praia da Rocha. Thank you, Anita and Antonio, for your warm hospitality and kindness!

Rosa’s place was great and exactly as described. Very short distance to beach and town (~15 min). She had recommendations which we appreciated. Check-in was easy. The place was as described and Rosa was super communicative. We encountered some issues after checkin and Rosa handled them immediately, which was so appreciated!! The place was super clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for an amazing stay, Rosa!

Carlota’s place is located in amazing Villa with beautiful surroundings! Amazing beaches to get to and her local recommendations were excellent ! The pool was great but unfortunately due to the weather it was a bit too cold to use and shower facilities were under construction. The only downside is the bed option, as described from the picture, the main bedroom is with 2 twin beds and a sofa bed. One big bed would’ve been more comfortable but breathtakingly beautiful view makes everything ok. We had some issue with laundry machine as it wasn’t in a good condition but we cleaned it and bought strong scent laundry detergent made it usable again! Wonderful memories from the beautiful landscape and activities and especial thanks to warm and heart full neighbor downstairs! Thank you again and it was a pleasant stay!
