Family-friendly holiday rentals in Barlavento Algarvio

A really lovely villa, photos don’t really do it justice. It’s very spacious and there was plenty of room for our group, 6 adults and 3 young children. The pool and play area were very popular. Lisa and David were great hosts. They provided everything we needed and more and were very good with communication and info. Some lovely personal touches for our stay left in the villa too which were much appreciated. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this villa and hope to return again sometime.

The accommodation was one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed at, the views in the morning on the rooftop where unforgettable, the host was very helpful and approachable when needing some guidance, the only concern is that we didn’t stay for longer!! Would 100% recommend

Paulo is a fantastic host, our very first Air bnb ! We would definitely recommend as it was just the perfect holiday for us! Lots of walks and beaches are beautiful, all within a few minutes walk. A great small supermarket with Coffee bar again just a few minutes walk. Brilliant , loved it!

Very good stay in Vladimir's accommodation. Responsive, pleasant host, who advises good places. The accommodation was very good, suitable for children. The park's pools are very good (suitable for toddlers and small children) with a snack bar next door. Very good location, close to shops and close to beaches. Anyway, we're so excited!

It was a charming accommodation. It was big for two people and we felt comfortable right away. Communication was easy. All in all, we were very please.

Our stay was wonderful, the townhouse is beautiful and in a very peaceful spot, yet so close to town! The hot tub was great in the evenings. It was super clean and has beautiful Portuguese charm. The space is large and private, it is nice to park your car right at the door to bring luggage in. Communication and recommendations were good. We had booked it for my 70th with all our family. Unfortunately my husband too ill and wasn’t allowed to fly. The rest of the family and grandchildren had the best time. The villa was as it was in the pictures, spacious and clean. The pool was spotless as the pool cleaner came to keep it maintained. It’s the first time my family had been to Portugal and they just loved it and would recommend anyone booking this villa would be very happy. They are due back today and the feedback from them has been very good. Infact we might just book this for next year. Steve and Natalie have been amazing hosts. We all would Definitely Highly Recommend this Villa and Location. 5 Star ⭐ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

7 friends had a great stay at this villa. It's so spacious, and great views with a great pool area. It's easy and cheap to get into town through Ubers (5 euro), and just a great place to relax. The rooms were all nice and big with en-suites, and showers were good. Kitchen was well stocked as well, and we had lots of BBQs - which being gas was quick and convenient. Highly recommend to friends and/or families that would want to say. You'd struggle to find any problems with this place.

My family and I loved staying at Vitor's place. We received a welcome basket with a thought for our children. The accommodation is exactly as shown in the photos and the outdoor space is simply magical and very popular with both adults and children. The village of Fuz is very quickly reached by car. Ideal place to rest and have a little privacy with family.

Had a great 2 night stay at Isabel’s! Perfect location within walking distance of all restaurants in Old Town and within 5 minutes of the beach. Would recommend to any couples staying in Albufeira.

This apartment was a dream for us while staying at Portimão, we felt immediately at home with the beautiful decoration, all the amenities we could need, spotless clean, good internet and a balcony with view to the beach. The apartment itself is 5 stars and we wished we could stay longer. The location is also perfect, very close with easily walkable distance to the beautiful beach of “os três irmãos”. Pedro was extremely nice, responsive and super helpful. We, a family of 3 with a 7 year old, were extremely happy and wishing to come back. Fantastic deal, thank you so much Pedro!

Honestly, I can’t say enough about Ana on how she went above and beyond to make my weekend celebrating my birthday and bachelorette with my friends special! She went as far as to in on the surprise to ensure that I was completely blown away! The villa is spectacular and my only regret is the number of balloons we left lying around when we left (sorry Ana). The rooms were spacious, immaculately clean, great convenient location with a grocery store and cafes nearby. Also wasn’t too far to get to the main strip! I highly recommend booking this gorgeous villa!

We stayed for a week with our baby and had a wonderful time. It‘s a super peaceful, beautiful place - especially the surrounding grounds are magical. The house itself is simple but cozy and very charming, the terrace overlooking the property‘s nature is a wonderful place to hang out and chill, and we made good use of the BBQ and outside shower. At some point we had a power outage, but Ana dealt with it promptly and professionally. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a retreat in nature.

Nicely furnished, modern flat in Albufeira marina. Clean and lots of natural light. Comfortable balcony with a view of the shared pool and the marina. Lots of restaurants right downstairs. Convenient parking spot in building. Anabela, the Host greeted us and was responsive and helpful during our stay. The bathroom could use a makeover…the only outlet in the bathroom did not work, the bathtub drain was rusty and the shower curtain needs to changed. The kitchen is quaint and fully functional. The drip coffeemaker needs to be replaced or at least replace the filter. Thankfully, they also had a Nespresso coffee maker. Washer was a plus. If your stay is longer than a week, you will get fresh linens an towels. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay.

Really great location and the view from the pool was amazing. It was very easy to drive to all different areas of Algarve from here. Birgit was very nice, thoughtful, and gave great recommendations on what to see and restaurants to eat at.

We stayed here for a week and it was perfect! The beaches are only a 15-20 minute walk away or a 10 minute bike ride! Definitely recommend that. The house is great and the garden is beautiful! The plunge pool was perfect for the hot days! I would 100% recommend this place :)

We had a great stay at Susana and Rodrigo's flat! It was clean, well arranged, and had great amenities in the complex. There is an excellent specialty coffee shop within 5 minutes walk and a small supermarket which were very helpful. The pools were great for the kids. There are several great beaches nearby. The marina is a short walk. All in all a great spot in Lagos! Thanks!

Carlota’s place is located in amazing Villa with beautiful surroundings! Amazing beaches to get to and her local recommendations were excellent ! The pool was great but unfortunately due to the weather it was a bit too cold to use and shower facilities were under construction. The only downside is the bed option, as described from the picture, the main bedroom is with 2 twin beds and a sofa bed. One big bed would’ve been more comfortable but breathtakingly beautiful view makes everything ok. We had some issue with laundry machine as it wasn’t in a good condition but we cleaned it and bought strong scent laundry detergent made it usable again! Wonderful memories from the beautiful landscape and activities and especial thanks to warm and heart full neighbor downstairs! Thank you again and it was a pleasant stay!

This place is a hidden gem in Lagos. The pool is excellent and peaceful. The restaurant in the pool area is excellent. Jose the owner is awesome. Good food too. Recommend!!!

Patrick and Hetty run a little oasis in the nature – we made a super spontaneous booking on the same day and Partrick cut his beach-day short for us. He showed us arround on their property wich has all you need! The cabin was very cosy and we felt home. Had all you need to cook yourself. We liked the cosy getaway!
