Smoking friendly holiday rentals in Barbados

My partner and I stayed for a week in Jess’s apartment, whilst I surfed and remote worked from the UK and close to my partners home in Oistins. Jess’s cosy apartment was just what we were looking for, private, quiet, comfortable and with lots of outside living space. The breeze blows through all the open shutters making it nice and cool and we enjoyed dinners in the garden and afternoon naps in the hammock. The apartment is a 5 minute walk from Freights Bay to surf and 20 minute walk to Miami Beach and Oistins for the shops and places to eat. Jess was the highlight of the trip giving us loads of great recommendations and an all round great host and person. We will definitely be keeping in touch and saying again!

We want to thank Anita for making our stay an enjoyable one. Our experience and stay was exceptional. We enjoyed our week at her place tremendously. We find the place to be clean, comfortable and cozy. Anita was very accommodating with the meet and greet schedule, helpful and knowledge in providing directions to the different amenities in the area along with those places that required bus or taxi service. We felt this was the ideal place to stay. The price was affordable making the selection process simple. The beaches, restaurants, shops and public transportation were all in walking distance which made it convenient to move around. We look forward to our next trip to stay at Anita's place. Once you experience Anita's place and you'll be back for future stays. We would highly recommend her place.

We had a great stay here. the place is right by the beach so very nice access to several beaches along the south coast. also very close to St Lawrence gap where there is good bars and nightlife. Less than a 10 mins drive to bridgetown. The host was very responsive for any questions we had and clear instructions on check in etc

The accommodation was exceptional. Stephanie is very responsive. Her place is close to the beach and comes with plenty of indoor and outdoor amenities. The area is private and quiet, but you do need a vehicle. You could easily spend your entire holiday just relaxing there, but we still went out exploring, and every time, it was a pleasure to come back at the end of the day. I apologise again for the miscommunication on our part, we just didn’t want to bother you with something that seemed minor at first. Rent this place, it’s amazing! Thank you, Stephanie!

Such a special place! The view and deck overlooking the ocean is stunning. The apartment is clean and airy with everything you need to cook at home. Christie is wonderful and made us feel completely at home.

Highly recommend!! This was the second place we stayed while on our honeymoon in Barbados. It is one of four apartments in the building with a shared yard, but you have your own little patio space with a table, chairs, and a lounge chair. We found it to still have a lot of privacy even with the shared environment. The apartment and surrounding area was gorgeous, clean, and well maintained. We kept the windows open the entire time to enjoy the incredible breeze and didn’t end up needing AC at all. We loved staying there for the week and enjoyed the peacefulness of being a little outside of town. Stefano was very friendly and quick to respond if we needed anything. We were very sad to leave and hope to return!

Ty is a great landlord. Totally responsive and a great host. Having had rental properties I appreciate his overall great way of managing and communications. I have stayed at 15 different Air BNB's and this was our best experience. Thank you Ty

Lex’s place had it all. There is a beautiful beach right outside the back door, it’s walkable to a grocery store, several cafes and bars and the Friday fish fry. We also could grab busses right outside the house to get to Bridgetown for more beaches and restaurants. Walking around felt safe (well lit) but of course be aware of your surroundings and the cars wiz by so be aware of where the sidewalks are. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space. We loved how there were lots of towels and pillows! The only thing to prepare for is that the second bedroom gets traffic noise so maybe bring earplugs if you’re sleeping in that room.

The list of amazing things I could say about Leah and Sherry and their beautiful home is endless. They treated us like family and helped us in unimaginable ways, from arranging transportation and tours, to recommending activities and restaurants. They even left us some surprise fruit to enjoy, which we greatly appreciated. (The mangos were the best we ever tasted!) Their home was perfect for us and had everything we needed. It was peaceful, clean and comfortable. Also, the location could not be beat. The beach, supermarket, local restaurants and bus stop are all within walking distance. Overall, our experience exceeded all expectations and we highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone seeking comfort, convenience and outstanding hospitality. Wilfrid is a very responsive, helpful, and accessible host. The apartment is clean and in a quiet neighborhood and very close to the minibus route so it is very easy to get to Oistins and Bridgetown. Highly recommend!

Bodie’s place is in a stunning location, just opposite the beach at Bathsheba. We stayed for 3 nights to chill before coming home to the UK after visiting family. The view from the new decking is memorising - this area made the place for me, it’s a great addition. I spent hours lying on the deck, taking in the view. It’s a short walk to Dina’s, The Roundhouse & other places for food/drinks, both are reasonably priced. There is a bus stop right outside & buses past by often. The house is cosy with a cute beach theme. The kitchen has all the appliances and utensils you would expect. Only thing missing was a tea towel. The bedding was clean and the bed was very comfortable. A/C worked well. We met Bodie who was very friendly and accommodating, offering us a late check out at no extra cost. He told us there was a surf competition in the Soup Bowl which we wandered across to watch, using the beach chairs provided. If you’re a surfer, or just love Bathsheba, this place is perfect.

Eyre's place was surprisingly the most coziest air bnb I've ever stayed in. I literally felt right at home. Home was well stocked with everything I needed. Very peaceful apart from the cocks crowing but they too were not early risers lol. There is a bar right on top of gap where you can relax, listen to music and chill with occasional meals. Ordel, our taxi guy was always ready and available to take us shopping or anywhere we asked to go. I can't say enough about him. He went above and beyond in my eyes. My stay was damn near perfect. The ONLY complaint I have is to tell Erye whoever is responsible for upkeep of the house and cleaning needs to be replaced lol. They are definitely not thorough. Just a few spot checks I would be happy to mention to him personally but it didn't and won't deter me from coming back to Sweet Myrtle. I wish I stayed longer. Thank you Eyre and Ordel for a memorable stay🙂. And yes, I felt comfortable and safe there, no problems.

This is a huge house, comprehensively equipped with a beautiful and well kept garden. The rooftop terrace is a bonus, looking down on the ocean and catching the breeze. All the staff we connected with, in the office ahead of our visit and at the house, were super friendly and helpful Unless you only plan to chill out on the beach or in the garden you’ll want to have a car. There are very few restaurants or other attractions in convenient walking distance. But in 10 to 20 minutes drive you’ll find lots

We had a wonderful holiday and an absolutely fantastic stay in the apartment. As described this is a two bedroom apartment both with ensuite facilities, separate kitchen,lounge and balcony across the property. The balcony provided absolutely wonderful views of the bay. The apartment is above the to Tiki bar and has direct access to the beach. Regarding the property, it was clean on arrival and we were met by the host who introduced us to the amenities and local area. She was very helpful and friendly. The property itself provided exactly what my wife and I needed for our holiday and facilities were excellent. We will definitely stay again. The apartment is in a great area. The beach is as depicted in photographs and a great beach for swimming with hardly any rocks in the sea or coral. It's accessible to the boardwalk providing easy access to other bars and restaurants. Nearby there is Starbucks and a supermarket a short walk away. A taxi rank further along the road and of course publ

First off, the location is great because it’s near fabulous secluded beaches. There are cheap restaurants around where locals go (Golden Anchor, Wendy’s Sports Bars), the fish store in Payne’s bay, Jordan’s supermarket within 15 min walk. The kitchen is super functional. The apartment has screened windows in the entrance veranda room so you can always leave those windows open without worrying about mosquito or birds coming in. Anna has 2 beach chairs too. The only thing we wish we had known was that the bed in the coral bedroom is a double bed and not a king. The king might refer to the sofa bed which is actually not comfortable to sleep in at all so the double bed was way too small for my 6 foot tall husband and I.

I stayed at Shona’s property for two weeks. The property was just as described—comfortable and very well located. The gated community is safe and pleasant. Shona was very responsive, always quick to reply to messages and ready to help with any issues that came up. I truly appreciated her reliability and hospitality.

Paul's place is incredible. RUN don't walk to that confirm reservation button. The view is breathtakingly beautiful, the pictures do not do it enough justice. Waking up to the view and sound of the ocean just a couple of feet from the patio was amazing. Saw several turtles swimming everyday. The amenities were great, clean and organized. Very spacious and secured. Paul is very responsive, kind and helpful. There are a lot of restaurants, shops and beaches in walking distance. A short bus ride or taxi to other popular areas in either direction. I stayed 6 days and did not want to leave. I will be staying here again when I'm back. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Very friendly hosts and made me feel right at home! Perfect for a simple, walkable and homely stay in a local neighbourhood. Can feel warm at night with fans instead of air con but they did the job. I showed up without remembering to contact earlier that day and still found my way in quickly and easily.

Very nice and cozy location in the east side of the island. Host was very communicative and friendly. I hope to come back again and again.

Perfect Private Property for a vacation. I came with my family and there was so much space for everyone to move around and it had a kitchen that was fully equipped ready to use, with plates and utensils! My family and I found that very useful and it helped us save money in comparison to eating out everyday. Guy was very helpful and a wonderful host along with his associate Tamara.

The most incredible host, location and amenities. We had a wonderful experience staying at the flat, the views are incredible, the setting is peaceful yet conveniently located within walking distance to the restaurants and food markets. The flat itself is so nicely equipped with anything you may need, which is always much appreciated. The beach is right outside the villas, extremely convenient especially if you are traveling with kids. There are even a few playgrounds: in the back of art splash cafe and across the street from the art splash cafe (3 min walk). Added bonus: farmers market with fresh produce and some local delicacies, located at art splash parking lot (3min walk). We had the best time!
