Beach house holiday rentals in Barbados

Chloe’s place was truly something special. The view couldn’t be better—right on the water! The upstairs features a large opening to the beach that makes you feel like you’re living outdoors. It does get warm during the day, but with the fans and side windows open, you can create a pleasant airflow. The spacious bedroom downstairs was comfortable and includes a cooling system that keeps things cool at night. The mattress could use an update—it’s quite soft and you can feel the springs a bit—but we still slept well. The kitchen is well-equipped with all the utensils you might need if you plan to cook. I would definitely recommend Chloe’s place if you’re looking to enjoy island life away from the main tourist areas, while still being close to attractions and having direct access to the water!

Lex’s place had it all. There is a beautiful beach right outside the back door, it’s walkable to a grocery store, several cafes and bars and the Friday fish fry. We also could grab busses right outside the house to get to Bridgetown for more beaches and restaurants. Walking around felt safe (well lit) but of course be aware of your surroundings and the cars wiz by so be aware of where the sidewalks are. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space. We loved how there were lots of towels and pillows! The only thing to prepare for is that the second bedroom gets traffic noise so maybe bring earplugs if you’re sleeping in that room.

We miss this house already!! The pictures do not completely compliment how gorgeous this place looks from the inside and outside! The house is spacious and very clean. The view and surroundings are just breathtaking! The morning sunrise is so beautiful and peaceful. The staff is friendly and super helpful, overall excellent services! Restaurants, stores are just a 10-15 minute drive away from the house. Food delivery options are great, however you can also cook your own meals in the spacious kitchen. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy Barbados in all peace and quite and explore the island by car. The sea in front of the house is wild and great for surfers, the quieter blue beaches where you can relax, swim, snorkel are just 10-20 min away. We have enjoyed our stay and will definitely return!

The air conditioning worked great! The house was very clean and the house amenities were on point. The Bay Garden is a 10 minute walk away. Just make sure coming back to the house you get on ZR van #11.

This was the peaceful, relaxing getaway we needed! The home was large enough to comfortably accommodate 7 of us. Mom, dad, and 5 kids ranging between 17-22 years old. We really enjoyed the paddleboard they included in the rental and the hammock on the patio. The private beach was perfect! The beds and pillows were super comfortable. Bathrooms were nice. The water didn't get very hot in the showers. I'm not sure if that's normal for out there or if that can be adjusted. I also didn't realize there wasn't a/c throughout the house. It may have been listed in the ad and I didn't process that, but it got pretty warm, especially while cooking. We opened the windows and doors to help but that also let a lot of mosquitoes in. But doesn't matter, it was still such a great place that those things weren't a big deal to us. Ultimately, we would stay here again based on the crystal blue beach in the backyard!

Turtle Reef has been my lengthy stay in Barbados for many years. We refer to it as our home from home. The decor is totally my taste and is totally conducive to why it suits myself and my special needs daughter. John and Shirley are the perfect hosts.

I am so glad that we chose to stay here! Everything pictured online is exactly what you see in person. The home was very welcoming, comfortable, and was in a peaceful location. The pool was great! The host Lorraine was available to answer all my questions and concerns at all times and Jan the property manager was a pleasure to deal with and available as well when we had any questions or concerns. We will definitely be going back to Barbados in the future and would for sure book with Lorraine again. Thank you so much!

We were happy to find such a clean accommodation in the remote Atlantic East side of the island. We enjoyed the calm every evening in this quaint apartment, Beyond. Eleanor. The housekeeper kept us very comfortable and was a pleasure to talk to. It should be noted that there is a very complete vegetable/fruit stand on the hill at the intersection in Bathsheba. Lovely fresh produce and the very friendly owner also brings in fresh eggs daily and has many other food and snack items. I was sorry that I had purchased some produce at the Massy store before heading to Cattlewash. The sea was beautiful to and watch. Such an amazing surf!

Marisa’s villa is very big and spacious with a lovely private pool which was great. Marisa was really quick to respond to queries before our stay and Jason our local host was on hand whenever we needed anything. Really can’t fault the support from hosts. In particular the flexibility with check out time was great as we didn’t have to worry about where we’d need to wait until our flight, The villa itself it very spacious, airy and well equipped. The area is very nice and quiet, no issues at all. The aircon in bedrooms allowed for rooms to be nice and cool overnight and there were ample fans throughout the house. The only thing I’d mention is the worms which were present throughout house but this wasn’t the fault of host as it’s the season. It just meant we had to try clearing them everyday in the evening which was annoying but as I mentioned it’s not the host fault. All in all a great stay, we also loved watching the planes land from the front of house!

It would be easy to end up in the wrong area or with a bland villa in Barbados, but Mustard Seed is ideal on both counts. Sally at Chestertons was extremely helpful, this is not the cheapest holiday, but you definitely get what you pay for. Everything was made safe for children - we had a toddler in the group - and the very well appointed rooms had quirkiness and an authentic tropics vibe. Walkable excellent beach and restaurants, but I would recommend the concierge service for airport transfers, initial food shopping and car hire. You're better with your own car. Great holiday, great villa, great host.

Natasza was warm and welcoming! Her place was perfect for our family of four with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Each was modern with lovely linens, comfortable beds, ample closet space. The porch was peaceful and relaxing! She went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing stay with incredible amenities. It was walking distance from Chattel Village with Cafe Bar Carisma, The Beach House and several restaurants from upscale - Tides & Nishi - to more moderate priced ones such as Just Grillin & Zaccios. TML One Love Bar is also walking distance! It was a stone’s throw from Limegrove for top-tier shopping at Level Up Gym. I also enjoyed walks along Cemetery Road and yoga at Sunshine Kula Yoga Studio. We hope to return again soon!

Keisha’s place was exactly as described. Modern, clean and a great backyard and swimming pool. Only minutes of walking away from a beautiful beach. Keisha was very accommodating and communicative, we did not need to reach out for anything the entire stay. Very smooth check-in/out experience. Barbados is a beautiful island and I would stay in any of Keisha’s homes because this was an immaculate experience. Thank you for hosting us! We look forward to coming back.

Can't say enough good things about this place! The house had everything we needed for our family of five adults to enjoy our first trip to Barbados. From the moment we checked in until the time we left, Kiana was there for us if we needed anything. The house itself is in great condition with nice bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and outdoor spaces. We cooked multiple meals in the well appointed kitchen, utilized the outdoor grill, and spent a couple of evenings enjoying good food, drinks, and music out on the veranda. The outdoor lounging areas and pool turned a very nice rental house into a fantastic getaway for our family. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and conveniently located near a grocery store, the fish market, and some great restaurants. We even enjoyed hearing our rooster friend next door giving us a crow every now and then and the neighbor's cat who would come by to casually greet us when we would return home. Can't wait to stay here again!

A huge thank you to Andrea and Alec for a fabulous stay at Little Bimshire. As described, the villa is in a great location, close to all amenities and well equipped. The pool is heated, clean and was enjoyed by our family. The bedrooms stayed cool, very comfortable and larger than expected. Some of us struggled with the heat in the lounge/kitchen as it was very hot during our stay. It did take me around 15 minutes to walk to the beach, but it would be considerably less for a younger person! During the time our hosts were away, Darwin was on hand to answer any questions and he was very helpful and friendly. It was lovely to meet our hosts who were super friendly. Our Granddaughter loved the birds, (thank you Andrea). It was very much our own private villa and we absolutely loved it. Holetown area and Beach are beautiful and I would thoroughly recommend this lovely villa.

Beautiful villa in beautiful Barbados! We had the most amazing stay. Spacious, clean and stunning interior, we really couldnt have asked for a nicer place to stay. The beach is an easy 5 min walk, lots of places to eat also within walking distance too... everything was perfect! Thank you so much Lucy and John!

Sharon's place was an absolute gem! Perfect for our needs! We loved some of the perks...beach chairs, outdoor patio, play pen for our little one, office space, and everything we needed in the kitchen. Her space was clean and well decorated and best of all, she was super responsive in her communication. Highly recommend! The a/c's were nice and quiet and strong in the bedrooms. No a/c in common areas but we kept the doors open and used the fans and it was manageable. The neighborhood is beautiful, safe, and quiet. Not too far from the beach or strip where you can find restaurants and shops. Would definitely return on another trip!

Our week at Beverley’s home was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed, cared for, and completely at peace. The space is a true gem—immaculately kept, filled with warmth, and perfectly set up for comfort and ease. Every detail reflected Beverley’s thoughtful touch, from the cozy layout to the inviting outdoor spaces that felt like our own private slice of paradise. Beverley struck the perfect balance as a host—she was incredibly responsive to any inquiries we had, always kind and quick to help, yet gave us the space to truly settle in and make her home our home away from home. Her warmth and respect made our stay feel both supported and serene. The neighborhood was tucked away, quiet, and very accessible—offering the best of both worlds. We loved how peaceful it felt while still being close to everything we needed. And yes, we timed it—the walk to the beach was exactly 6 minutes at a medium pace! It quickly became one of our favorite daily rituals.

Absolutely 5 stars! Paula was incredibly responsive, easy to communicate with, and very accommodating throughout our stay. The house exceeded all expectations — spotless, beautifully decorated with modern appliances, and located in a great area with plenty of places to eat and explore. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and the home felt very secure and welcoming — truly a home away from home. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again!

We loved the house, a beautiful space and it's so full of character. Marvo is a great host. We immediately felt at home. There was juice, milk, cheese and bread upon arrival, which is really a nice touch after a long travel. There is a space to park a car outside the front entrance and an electric gate. Otherwise, peaceful and quiet and conveniently located to explore the island. Definitely recommend this place.

This was a great place to stay for 8 nights for two people. The private yard in the back was quiet and a great place to hang out, and the barbecue was a nice bonus. The apartment is in a very walkable location with the grocery store a 5-10 minute walk, and the included beach club even closer - also close to Holetown Beach which is incredible. Caroline and Benoit were very quick to respond to questions and all instructions were very clear. The apartment was very well stocked, and the kitchen fully equipped with a microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, pots and pan, eating and cooking utensils - we found everything we needed. The washing machine was convenient to have available. The bedroom was a bit bigger than expected and there was plenty of room along one wall to store luggage. Air conditioning in both rooms which was great, many rentals in the area only have this in the bedroom. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

this is a beautiful home . my partner and I love this place & it was very peaceful for our Christmas trip. the house was clean upon arrival. the host was reachable & answered any questions that i had. I did not have any concerns that's how lovely this house is. we will book again

Great stay for part of our trip in Barbados! The home was very spacious and well equipped, the laundry room was definitely helpful! Super close to the beach and the main area in Oistins for the Friday fish fry. Shane communicated with us consistently and provided great information and recommendations!
