Eco Cottage in the Woods

The cottage is light and airy, surrounded by forest. You may see birds and deer from the bedroom or living room. The queen bed is divided from the living room by a bookcase wall. There is a sofa bed in the living room which faces a patio overlooking the woods. We have a 16x36 unheated gunite pool, professionally maintained. The cottage works well for a couple or a couple with children. 2 night minimum required. Pets welcome. Pet owners passing through may stay 1 night.

Our stay at Kyles guesthouse was wonderful, and we would definitely return. If you’re looking to escape into beautiful serene scenery away from the hustle and bustle this is it! Lots to do in the surrounding areas, but it’s wonderful to return to the peace and quiet of this airbnb. The accommodations were great and just as described. The only thing I’d note is that the guesthouse is attached to the main house, and so noise travels. Nothing that bothered us, but something to note if that’s something you care about. Anyway, I definitely recommend staying here!

We had a week's stay at Doug's place and was as advertised. What a lush oasis! We saw herons, turtles, deer and loved the sound of the bullfrogs and seeing fireflies at night. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was very user friendly. There was nothing better than looking out at the beautiful pond and view while sipping morning coffee. It's a wonderful place!

Very cute place. The property was clean, well maintained, and everything you could think of was inside the house. You get the feeling that the management company for the property is actually local and cares about providing a good experience. Overall would recommend and would stay here again, as well as trying other properties owned by the management group.

We had a wonderful week-long stay during the winter holidays at Leslie's beautifully decorated New England home. The house, built in 1880, is located in a rural, wooded neighborhood in front of a picturesque barn and creek. The warm and cozy house is filled with books and features modern conveniences including excellent WiFi. The house was quite spacious for our family of three. We loved spending time sitting on the couches in the living room and reading in front of the wood-burning fireplace. The house was conveniently located 30-40 minutes from the historic sites along the Hudson River that we visited. There were good restaurants nearby and plenty of room in the huge refrigerator for saving the leftovers to reheat in the microwave! Three bedrooms are located upstairs, along with a full bathroom. A second full bathroom is available downstairs for guests who may have difficulty climbing the stairs. We enjoyed staying there and would highly recommend it as a place for a quiet retreat.

We absolutely loved our stay at Fil & Ellie’s place, it made it the highlight of our trip. From the minute we walked in, it felt so calm. The place is beautiful with all the amenities. We enjoyed the hot tub, grill, fireplace. We’ve been to the Catskills countless times and this is the best experience due to the wonderful stay. Thank you!

We loved staying at this studio apartment. It was a great location, close to Hyde park and rhinebeck. Great restaurants and towns for shopping. The host was responsive, helpful and friendly. The apartment was clean and had all the extras you may need.
