Holiday rentals with a patio in Bamburgh

we had an amazing stay. the hosts were brilliant with directions, local things to do. we were staying for a wedding close by. They offered us a lift to save a taxi fare ( not needed but very much appreciated) pointed us in the direction of the river so my wife could go for a wild swim. the dogs are great and came with us whilst we were outside and super friendly. the accommodation was perfect for our needs and we will definitely return for another peaceful stay in Northumberland. we left super early to go collect the kids after the wedding and we were given bacon rolls in lovely cheese bread bun. so nice and got us through the long drive. 10/10 stay thank you so much for hosting us. The perfect place! We are often so disappointed with the lack of effort put into places we've stayed, and it was such a dream to find Sara's place totally exceeded expectations! It was cosy, clean, had lovely decoration, even homemade cookies on arrival. It had everything we needed and the patio area in the garden was gorgeous. For once it actually felt worth the money, we could have stayed a week! It felt like sara really cared about putting a personal touch into the room. Thankyou 🥰

Fabulous apartment in a fabulous location. Spacious and tastefully decorated. Lovely little garden with beautiful roses, overlooking the river. Lots of parking. Pub overlooking a marina only 5 mins walk away. Great pubs, bakeries and restaurants 5 mins drive away in the quirky and atmospheric Ouseburn area. the quayside a short walk. Jordan was very responsive. It was our son’s wedding and he kindly left a bottle of fizz. Highly recommend - 5 star all round. Would definitely stay here again.

Wow this really is a beautiful place to stay! Great location for exploring the Borders region, and that view of the Abbey from the bedroom window is something else! It was very homely with lovely furniture, an EXTREMELY comfortable bed (and I'm very fussy about my beds), and a lovely shower and well stocked kitchen. I would highly recommend June's place

Awesome stay at Suzanne’s, neat place with a great location in a beautiful town. The place combines classic charm and modern comfort. Hosts very responsive.

This rental is small but perfectly formed. We had everything we needed for our short break. The apt is very central and we found it very handy for everything. There is a small outside area which is a lovely sun trap to enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine.

Miriam is an excellent host! She was so helpful with recommendations on the local area and how to get around. Her apartment was spotless, looked just like the photos and felt so at home. She replied to messages so quickly and did all she could to help. When we come to Newcastle again Miriam and her apartment will be the first place we look for ☺️

We had a great few days in Blyth. The house was very clean, comfortable and attractive, with everything we needed and more. The welcome pack of food and drink on arrival was well received - thank you! It was nice to be able to walk to the beach and a good fish and chip restaurant. Plenty do see and do just a short drive away. Communications from Gary were clear and helpful, and he gave lots of local recommendations. Can’t fault anything!

Gorgeous property with a lovely host! I'd definitely recommend a stay at Theresa's cottage. It had everything we needed for a family holiday and was the perfect base from which to explore the surrounding area. Thanks Theresa for a lovely visit!

It is a really nice place to stay, lovely private garden and watching the birds on the bird feeder was amazing, I counted over 10 different species! The beds & pillows were excellent and my daughter & I slept really well. Excellent Airbnb

Wendy was a great host and made sure we had the relevant information as we needed it and checked all was well when we got to Rose Cottage. The cottage looked just like the photos and the description was spot on. We found it very comfortable, well decorated and furnished and very clean. It is a 15 minute down hill walk into the city. We preferred to get a taxi back up the hill which was easy because there are several taxi ranks in the city. The parking permit was brilliant and once we parked on the road outside the cottage we didn't move the car until we left. There was plenty to do in Durham. We particularly enjoyed eating Sunday lunch at Isla but you do need to prebook. I can highly recommend Rose Cottage when in Durham.

All I can say is fantastic Loved the place from the moment we walked in. The views are spectacular and it’s so peaceful. The property is like a home from home and will definitely be coming back.

We had a most comfortable stay. Every little requirement was taken into consideration, including plastic boxes for our lunch . We didn’t need the cold bag ! The house was extremely clean and beds comfortable. We would certainly stay again.

Me, husband & and dogs had a wonderful week stay @ The Folly & WOW this place certainly does not disappoint 😊a beautiful tranquil getaway tucked in the Middleton estate which provides excellent opportunity for lovely walks either in the woods/fields or round the lake. You are greeted every morning by enthusiastic birdsong and are treated to beautiful sunsets off the balcony. There are many lovely places to visit near & further a field you are spoilt for choice but a great location for Bamburgh & Lindisfarne. Dale was the perfect host & always responded promptly when asked a question 😊I would certainly recommend thank you ❤️

Ruth’s house was perfect for our stay in Northumberland, it was comfortable well equipped and clean. The beds and linen were excellent, the kitchen well equipped and having its own parking was a bonus. With a good selection of restaurants, traditional pubs, independent shops, Barter Books, Castle and gardens Alnwick was a great base for our trip to the North East coast. Would definitely return and recommend.

Enjoyed the use of the property, it was near the beach and funfair, loads of restaurants at the end of the road and was in a quiet cul de sac. We enjoyed walking the short distance to the town centre and also to the ferry. Great location for all ages.

We stayed in this lovely apartment for a long weekend celebrating with family who live locally. The apartment was perfect, great location, clean, and just want we needed. The hot tub was a complete win with our children. The courtyard is private and a real sun trap. We will be back.

Elaine’s apartment was ultra modern, very clean and well presented. The bathroom is fabulous beautiful freestanding bath and fantastic power shower. We had a welcome pack which was absolutely lovely, made up of local products. It’s well placed for exploring the local area’s. Holy Island / Bamburgh castle/ Seahouses are all within an hour.

We had a wonderful stay here and would definitely return. The location is perfect - with the sea just across the road, very close to the pier/harbour area and a couple of minutes from the end of the high street. North Berwick is a lovely little town, perfect for a short break, and was particularly good for our needs with a wheelchair user / someone with mobility issues. Would highly recommend both North Berwick and this accommodation.

What a find, we stayed for 3 nights, absolutely loved studio at no.1, everything about it.. spotlessly clean, well thought out, the outside area, the kitchen is brilliant! The location is perfect, 5 mins to Melrose centre, had a couple of really good meals at Burts Hotel, the monkfish samosa starter was delicious, and The Kings Arms.. both were lovely. Would definitely stay here again, so many golf courses to choose from too 😊

Just the perfect stop over after a looong drive back from The Highlands. So peaceful, extremely comfortable bed and squeaky clean apartment. So quiet too! The surroundings were amazing with a beautiful garden overlooking the highest point on the Pennines! Julie and Paul were just the best. They were waiting for us on arrival and gave us the warmest of welcomes (As did the dogs!) They were so kind and helpful. Look forward to coming back sometime to explore more of the beautiful Eden Valley.

Lovely apartment, perfectly situated on the marina within walking distance of the bars and restaurants. Clean, fully equipped. And the host made everything so easy!

Perfect little apartment in a beautiful area perfect for a couple's getaway to a stunning part of the country. Easy check-in, great facilities and amenities and a cosy, comfortable place to stay. Handy location for exploring Northumberland with great proximity to a fantastic beach and local restaurants, cafes and bars.
