Modern new luxury cabin nestled on our working croft shared with our Hebridean Sheep. Situated in a peaceful glen twenty minutes walk to the local coastal village Connel and ten mins drive to the town of Oban we offer a gateway to the outdoors - mountains, beaches, forests, islands. The cabin has been built to immerse our guests into the tranquil surroundings with uninterrupted countryside views over native woodland from the decking area where deer and sea eagles are regular visitors.

Decked area leads to upper garden with stunning views. Rural location though not isolated 11 miles from Oban. Fully equipped kitchen, superfast broadband & room darkening blinds in both sleep areas. No cleaning fee added on. Free, parking to door. The perfect hideaway to relax, recharge & reconnect.

Shepherd's Hut near Oban

Get away from it all in our shepherd's hut located just outside the village of Connel and only a ten minute drive from the bustling seaside town of Oban. The accommodation is located on our family croft (we live on site near to the shepherds hut) with ducks, hens, Hebridean sheep and our two ponies as your closest neighbours. We are surrounded by abundant wildlife such as pine martens and red deer and have outstanding views over unspoiled countryside towards the slopes of Ben Cruachan.

The house is set in an elevated position within 7 acres of croft land overlooking the village and enjoying outstanding views over Loch Etive, Ben Cruachan and Ben Starav.

At the end of the road is the historical Bonawe furnace and a short walk to the jetty and pier on Loch Etive where the otters live and the seals can regularly be seen.
