Our mountain sanctuary

JamiRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Holly, We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your cabin. Your description of the cabin was perfect. It offered everything that we were looking for. A great opportunity for us to disconnect from the busy day to day demands and just be still. The river was amazing! Lilly enjoyed her swims and we loved listening to the rain off the rooftop. We went into town and enjoyed a sweet treat and some coffee from the local bakery. It was a lovely time. Thank you so much for your hospitality and your great communication. Very Respectfully, Jami and Barry Thaler

Secluded rustic cabin 39 acres

JacquiRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Once again, my husband and I had a relaxing stay in a wonderful, private and secluded cabin in Burnsville, NC. It was our second visit. If you want to relax and recharge from a busy schedule it is the place to go. We also enjoyed the firepit every evening.

The Abernathy, a place for peace and quiet.

TerryRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Reasonable, clean, a ways to civilization, but close to friends we were helping, blueberries outback, eggs and staples provided. Flexible check in and helpful responsive host! No complaints! Will likely use again for next visit!

Hillside Cottage at Campbell Farm Animal Sanctuary

DonnaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Absolutely charming! My husband said , “Pick any bnb that you like. They are all the same.” Nope! This place is so very different! Located on the side of a hill, the cottage has a huge vista spreading out of farmlands and mountains. We sat on the porch and just listened. Birds singing, roosters calling, ducks quacking, hens clucking, horses neighing, and in the evening the frogs peeping. So peaceful. Inside the decor is perfection. Nikki is a very good artist and decorator. Everything is so very comfortable. We loved it!

Mountain Retreat

ChristopherRating, 5 stars2 months ago
You couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place in every way. Host was some of the friendliest people you will ever encounter. More than helpful in every way. Absolutely beautiful place to stay with wildlife abundant. I would highly recommend for anyone to come visit if nothing else more than to spend a couple days but be warned…. You won’t want to leave

La Vista - a Peaceful Mountain Getaway

AbigailRating, 5 starstoday
This place was absolutely lovely, nestled comfortably on the mountain with an overlook that is endlessly beautiful! The house is a delight for children to explore and I personally enjoyed the real wood floors and walls and doors…so refreshingly natural among all the Sheetrock and glue of so many modern houses! The place was clean and neat, warmly welcoming in how it was arranged for guests. Highly recommend!

King Bed • Covered Rocking Chair Porch • Peaceful

RileyRating, 5 stars3 days ago
This cabin is one of the best air bnbs we’ve stayed at! So clean and the host is so nice and responds quickly. Even the small touches made a huge difference. Loved sitting on the front porch every morning. Our first time to NC. We spent 10 nights here (we had to extend our trip because my husband’s contract extended and the host was happy to accommodate!). My husband got called here to clean up in the rivers from hurricane Helene. If we ever have the chance to come back we’d be lucky to stay here again! The cold water bottles in the fridge, the washer/dryer and the book of recommendations in the area were a great touch! We had great internet too. Such a quiet and peaceful area!
