Family-friendly holiday rentals in Baja Sardinia

Fantastic stay. beautiful view and lovely town with great beaches nearby. loved seeing the wild boars!! hot tub was fantastic also.

We really liked the apartment, very central and with everything available. It allowed us to enjoy the village of Maddalena to the fullest. The air conditioning system worked very well (very important). The complete and essential decor, pots and dishes in abundance, spacious and functionally furnished bedrooms. The terrace is very large with partial views of the port (but which for us was not important) with a large table and chairs to eat outdoors. It overlooks a street with moderate traffic. There is no parking but we were able to use the free public parking almost always, with a walk back through the country always very pleasant. Alternatively, paid parking for 1 euro per hour. Communication with the owners was great and fast, we received all the answers to our questions of ordinary administration. I also recommend sailing trips!

Lucia was a wonderful host, very responsive and helpful. The house had amazing view of the water and we could easily walk down to a beach. There was plenty of lovely beaches, villages and restaurants within 10-20 minute drive. The beds were comfortable, rooms were nicely decorated and had blackout shades. The kitchen has everything we needed. The outdoor space is perfect! We had a great stay and Lucia was so kind and friendly!

We really enjoyed our stay, the villa was perfect for us and the views are outstanding. As it was earlier in the season, the pool and the hot tub were not available but that did not concern us. Communication with Lorenzo and his team was really good and his colleague David cheerfully waited for us even though our flight was 2 hours later than expected and it was 9pm. This villa is not near amenities (shops, restaurants etc) so a car is definitely needed. There are also steps up to the villa and inside it, that may be difficult for people with limited mobility. Overall it was a lovely week for us.

Really beautiful stay, spacious and clean

We had a wonderful stay in beautiful Porto Rotondo! The pool was such a hit with our daughter that it was difficult to pull her away from it so that we could go venture out to some of the stunning nearby beaches! Beautiful property with tons of private, quiet outdoor space. Gorgeous sunsets. Awesome being so close to the Seawall which is a nice walk and leads to many restaurants. Grocery stores nearby as well. Was great to have en suites for all bedrooms. Comfortable space for our family which was four adults and two young children. Thank you Alessandro!

The host was super helpful throughout the stay giving advice on what to visit and how to get around. The house is very nice and well-kept and with everything you need for your vacation. The town is not on the sea but you can easily reach it with a 10-minute drive, it is also in a location that makes it easy to visit different cities by moving a little. In general, highly recommended as accommodation if you want to take a vacation in these areas

We rented the apartment mainly because of the jacuzzi and the view. We weren't disappointed here! It was just a dream to start and end the day in this one. The temperature of the hot tub in April at 20*C air temperature for us was absolutely fine and not too cold for us and the 37*C of the hot tub was kept for several hours. Absolutely positive to mention is the friendly proactive nature of Christian, which definitely makes him a Superhost. His tips on which beaches and restaurants we should visit made this holiday unforgettable, as we were able to visit the breathtaking highlights of the area in a short time! Thanks Christian! Enrico was a lovely host. He said to always ask him for beach recommendations so he could recommend something based on the direction of the wind and he never missed! He was also very helpful with any other sort of local recommendations for restaurants or other things to do, and unerringly friendly. He lives above the guest house, but it's very private. The location is absolutely stunning, the pool is even better than the picture, the garden is absolutely teeming with life. We were there in May, so it was full of flowers, butterflies, dragonflies, and frogs in the pool. We were also visited daily by the two dogs who live on the property. We had a wonderful time. Maria was a wonderful host and her cottages were lovely, surrounded by the most stunning, picturesque views. Her communication and response throughout our stay was faultless. She provided local recommendations and things to do, and did not hesitate to keep in touch regarding an air con issue which occurred prior to our stay. We were lucky enough to be hosted in her second cottage whilst the issue was sorted. Both the cottages were clean and spacious, fully equipped and perfect for a relaxing stay. We are very grateful for our stay with Maria and all she did to host us. We will for sure recommend this stay to family and friends.

Great location, great hospitality! Recommended!

The place was clean, quiet, peaceful. It’s a bit difficult to find. The road that leads to the apartment is very bumpy, and you’re not sure if you’re on the right road. But it’s a wonderful place.Andrea and Anna are wonderful hosts. They answered my text timely and always to the point, thank you Highly recommended to anyone who’s looking forward peace, quiet and relaxations. We’re enjoyed very much ❤️❤️

Giovanni's accommodation was very nice. The view from the terrace was indescribably beautiful. At breakfast and in the evening at sunset, there was a great atmosphere. The apartment was very functional and tidy. For us, traveling as a family of four with two "big" children (16/18), the apartment was perfect. 3 rooms. Plenty of storage space and room. A very spacious outdoor area with table/ chairs/ washing machine/ two deck chairs and my highlight a very nice outdoor shower with cold/warm water. We felt very comfortable. The covered parking space for our car was also ideal. The excursion options to Palau, the Maddalena Archipelago and for excursions to various beaches were ideal. A small market in Porto Pollo and beautiful restaurants in Porto Pollo have rounded off our holiday experience very positively. Giovanni had valuable tips for a trip to the Maddalena Archipelago or to rent a boat.

Unique stay. The animals on the property were such a cool experience for our toddler.

Easy check-in and check-out; beach and restaurant recommendations from the host were great; problems were resolved very quickly. Rental car required, however

Beautiful, very well equipped apartment. The terrace offers plenty of space to eat and relax, great views of the sea and the pool. The outdoor area is also lovingly designed and very well maintained. We felt completely comfortable. Elisabetta gave us valuable tips, thank you again. The location is very convenient for exploring the area.

Beautiful enclave “suburb” of Santa Teresa Gallura. Well located to port excursions and Nuraghi archeological site. Don’t miss the site! Michelin rated restaurants. Killer sunsets. Don’t miss the leeward sandy beach at Capo Testa isthmus. Well done, complete renovation and tastefully furnished unit. Washer, no oven. Maria Lucia was very attentive with advance texts on things to visit; she truly loves Sardinia and you will too! She will help you in anyway possible. Just ask! In return, she only asks to do the recycling and water her thriving plants. Thank you for all your kindnesses.

We had a fantastic experience. The place was impeccably clean, and we felt warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. The view was absolutely breathtaking and made the visit worth every penny. While the cocktails were on the pricey side, they were exceptionally well-crafted and delicious. Overall, a great spot for a special outing!

We stayed in Italo’s place for two nights and we wish we could stay longer! The moment we arrived Italo greeted us in a friendly manner and provided a tour of the lovely apartment. Italo was super responsive and proactive when responding to our questions and we could not be more happier. The pictures do not do the place justice - excellent. It has everything you need to feel like home. We would highly recommend Italo’s place!

We visited in low season so the whole area was really quiet, Giorgio and Elizabetta were great to communicate with for the few times we needed to chat as the house was perfect. We were met and given a lovely tour on checkin when Elizabetta explained everything, the apartment is very clean and we would certainly be back! The terrace is bigger than it looks in the pictures, enjoying sun late into the evening! Our dog loved it too as and the whole terrace is secure. Thanks again for the lovely holiday!

We had a wonderful stay in Sardinia in an absolutely superb house nestled in a pretty flowery residence. Fully equipped and decorated with originality and taste by the owner's father, who was a famous artist in the region. Quality bedding in the 3 bedrooms Beautiful view of the sea and the pool from the terrace. A huge thank you to the owners, who were remarkably kind and available. Welcoming, attentive and always ready to share their good addresses or to help, they largely contributed to making our stay unforgettable. We'll be happy to go back!

We had a very relaxing week at this beautiful place in Costa Smeralda. The apartment is in private resort complex few hundred yards from the sea, nice quiet beach, large pool, and few nice bars and restaurants. Apartment itself is.most comfortable for 4 adults, but can accomodate 5 if big space is not your requirement. Beautiful sea view from the garden like front porch where we ate dinners. Large back yard, full of flowers blooming in early June. Two full bathrooms (one outdoor shower), grill, outdoor kitchen in the backyard will make yout stay even more enjoyable. Host is very proactive and wants to make your stay perfect. If we go to Sardinia again, we'll definitely stay here again.
