If you’re looking for a 5 star resort it’s not for you It’s more like camping in a beautiful house surrounded by wildlife and basically a private beach Staff was wonderful Chon the chef was amazing. A must !! Think we ate every meal there The road in is long and bad A good 20 minutes one way so plan your trips into town accordingly

We had already been to François last year. Our stay was beautiful, relaxing and magical. If you like the jungle, nature and the feeling of being far from the rest of the world....this is the perfect place:) The Dulce Gulf is also a very special place....we took a boat trip with Osawild to see dolphins....and we had an extraordinary moment...A little jungle paradise or lots of species of birds and some monkeys naturally come to the property.

We enjoyed Rodolfo and Inka very much. In the heat, the communal pool was an absolute highlight. Rudolfo always answered all our questions and was a very courteous host. If you are looking for absolute peace, however, you may be bothered by the quite noisy neighborhood. But it was absolutely okay for us and we would come back any time.

Our original AirBnb didn’t work out- we literally couldn’t get to it because there was a river flowing across the road! We booked R House at the last minute and were so grateful that we were able to check in immediately. The house was so great! Clean, spacious, comfortable, private, nice amenities- we loved our stay! The hosts were super friendly and responsive. If I’m ever in this area again I would definitely stay here again. There is another house on the property available for rent. Very convenient if you are traveling with a huge family or friends.

Casa Lapas was an amazing place. The house is very clean, close to the sea, very complete, easy access and very safe in case you are with🐶. We are very happy with the house and Alexander's kindness, they even left us a welcome detail, we are very grateful and happy, we hope to return.

The house is very nice, well cared for and everything is very tidy. Lea was very friendly and helped me with all my questions. We were a group of 7 and the house is too comfortable and safe.

This casita was the perfect spot to relax and unwind! The pool was awesome, gorgeous views and incredible star gazing (and thunderstorms!). Great recommendations by Rolando for the nearby beach 🏖️ that was splendid and with parrots 🦜 and scarlet macaws. A great spot, highly recommend.

The house is identical to the photos, the pool with its terrace and grill is great for a pleasant time. Very spacious kitchen with basic implements. The hostess is super friendly and attentive to our queries. A place to definitely come back!

Awesome spot for relaxing and adventuring in the Costa Rican jungle and beach. We love love loved the porch overlooking the canopy and the ocean. We spent hours watching the birds (macaws, toucans, hummingbirds, tanagers, and more!) and listening to the sounds of the waves. Bring binoculars! The rooms are really nice with AC in every room, nice bathrooms and nice beds. The kitchen is great with everything you need to cook. There’s a restaurant and bar a few mins down the path if needed. We booked a night tour with Carlos, snorkeling tour, and day wildlife viewing tour with Adrian when we arrived. Susan arranged it all and it was amazing! We saw so much wildlife in the forest during the day and night, and had a great time snorkeling. Our six days at the place were wonderful and we highly recommend this spot. Please note there are two rivers to cross if you come by car. They were low enough to cross for us but it is a consideration depending on the season you book (rainy or dry).

Super clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend this spot. Lots of birds in the trees that you can enjoy watching. Location is great. Beds were comfy and bathrooms were extremely clean.

It was a fantastic stay! In full contact with nature and the sound of the jungle. Our two children felt very good, they enjoyed the spacious and safe garden. Every evening, we sat on the balcony to drink fresh pineapple and coconut juices. The beach is very close (10 min. by car) An ideal and safe beach for children. The lady who takes care of the house is very attentive and kind. Always ready to help us with whatever we need. Sara responded to our inquiries very quickly and also with a proactive attitude in the information provided. We would gladly stay at the cottage again!

We really enjoyed the days at Keyla's. The place is absolutely perfect for a stay in Puerto Jiménez. Slightly secluded on the main road and walking distance to all the important places and restaurants. The washing machine on the property is a blessing, especially after a trip to Corcovado NP. Thank You!

We couldn't have wished for better! We are also very fond of it as if we were in this house forever.. comfortable, cozy, perfect in every detail. I loved having breakfast in the spacious outdoor living room, with birds of every color and sound and the now friendly iguana of all shapes and sizes. I watched the sunset from the river bank and rested peacefully even when it rained at night... we arrived tired and left regenerated and already with nostalgia... everything was very clean, equipped, everything is really perfect! Thanks to Simone for tips on nearby tours, for courtesy and immediacy. And Erica for making us find the house very clean and full of flowers, 🌺 I recommend with the heart to come to this magical place.

Staying at Pura Vida was a wonderful experience for me and my family. The house is amazing, built and decorated with impeccable taste, comfortable, elegant, modern and with a breathtaking view to the ocean and forest. The hosts are most welcoming and we felt right at home. We were sad we had to leave! But we look forward to coming back soon…

What an amazing little gem we felt right at home. It was like staying with some good friends walking around their fruit farm picking avocados and citrus and flowers and fishing down at the river. That’s only a few hundred meters from the house. What an amazing place will definitely be back.

Excellent place, it is close to the center of Puerto Jiménez, the neighborhood very quiet and the house comes with everything you need for a nice stay. The attention of the owners is quite good, always attentive and very friendly; they even gave us suggestions and good advice to get more out of our visit to Puerto Jiménez. I would return on an upcoming visit to this beautiful place.

Nancy’s place was our favorite out of the four airbnbs we stayed at during our trip to Costa Rica. The location was a perfect distance from town, but still secluded enough where we had lots of privacy and peace and quiet. Nancy was very kind and thoughtful, when we arrived there was fresh fruit and water waiting for us. We will be staying here again next time we visit Drake Bay!

Great place. You need to have a car to move around, but quick and easy access everywhere. Huge place... Good internet.

We we’re with 6 and a kid and it was a nice stay and her mom was super friendly and helping us. We had a lovely stay.

A super clean and nice house. A good bed with nice linens. Delicious towels. Nice bathroom Some fruit was left for us. The house was better than we thought. It was better than the pictures. Recommended only

The hosts really make this a stand out experience. I am grateful to Mari and her family for the warm welcome. The house is well equipped and very charming. The location is convenient for day trips around the peninsula and the river is an easy walk down the road. There are two pulperias that had all I needed for my month stay. Not controlable by the host but, on the weekend nights the music from the cantina can be loud and last until 2am. It is also on a road with many motorcycles and cars.

Fantastic location! Wonderfully quiet. Close to the beach. And a very nice cottage!! The road to it was an adventure in itself. But if you are there for a few days, you get used to driving on the gravel roads. A 4x4 is necessary.. Rob and Rebe are super friendly. They helped us excellently.
